The hotel is very nice, but: - you cannot order anything to eat after 10 pm. Being located in a business area, the only option close by is a McDonald’s. - charging 32 euros for a dog is absolutely ridiculous! And you find that out at the reception, AFTER you have booked your stay. Completely disappointed by Croatia when it comes to “dog friendly locations”. Travelling with your pet in this country is not easy, all the hotels overcharging for the “experience”. For a comparison, Italy and France charge maximum 8-15 euros - and that is for a very good hotel, as Movenpick. - otherwise, nice hotel and friendly service.

Everything surpassed our expectations

Parking was a bit confusing. There were not enough spaces so we were prompted by the reception to park in front of an electric charger because no one uses them. Well, we parked in front of the only working charger just as another traveler with a Tesla arrived. If I did not feel bad enough to insist on moving my vehicle to another location that person could not have charged his car. I ended park asking permission to park in front of a reserved office space slot since it was a weekend. The entire mixup could have easily been avoided if the reception staff cared enough to suggest a meaningful solution from the beginning.

Very modern hotel with stylish interiors (Nikola Tesla's restaurant was awesome!). Everything was exceptionaly clean. Staff was very friendly and always helpful. Hotel room was furnished in high standards with hi-tech stuff like TV in the mirror or touch buttons operated lighting / AC. Spacious parking space under the building. Very tasty food in the restaurant (although some dishes are a bit different to what you might expect, e.g. Vitello Tonnato). Awesome breakfasts.

Location - it is at the edge of city among administrative buildings / blocks of flats => nothing to see there. But you have Lidl across the street which is good!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel for a second time. The room was exceptionally spacious, providing plenty of comfort. The lady at the reception was particularly friendly and made us feel very welcome. The parking facility is incredibly convenient as you can take the elevator directly to your room. The hotel boasts a very modern design and high-tech features throughout. Additionally, the amenities in the bathroom smelled absolutely delightful!

However, the breakfast did not meet our expectations. The only good part was the man who cooked omelets and other dishes to order.

The restaurant was very, very good. The rooms were modern with smart technology. Nespresso machine with 6 pods. Staff was very responsive to requests. Chocolate hour nice touch.

We had some glitches - our room wouldn’t cool, WiFi instructions weren’t anywhere - tried to call front desk but phone did not work. Went down to front desk, they adjusted in their system the range of temperature allowed in the room, pointed out a QR code to get WiFi. A mystery about how to lighten the room - there weren’t additional lights on the ceiling - so it felt like we were packing almost in the dark.

The hotel is a little out of town, but as we were flying home the next morning, convenient for the airport. We were advised by the helpful staff at reception not to go by car into the city but to take the bus/ tram, they kindly supplied us with the necessary info. The breakfast buffet was varied and fresh and regularly replenished. The only negetive point, was the queue for the coffee machine, which could perhaps be combatted by supplying bigger cups?.

Due to the nature of the furnishings, the room was a bit dark.

Great location next to the motorway, underground parking, rooms are comfy and with good amenities. Staff as always are super friendly and accommodating. We had an issue with our aircon this time, and they were super helpful to reset it centrally and help cool it down.

As said, we had some issues with the AC, but the staff were quick to fix it when we asked, otherwise no problems!

This is the perfect hotel if you need a stopover before or after a flight, as it's very close to the airport in Zagreb, but is unlike any kind of airport hotel we've ever stayed in. It's location is about 5km outside of Zagreb, so not perfect if having all of the capital's sights on your doorstep is a priority, but if you want somewhere cool & funky, with a great on-site restaurant, then this is the one for you. Decor is very minimalist and dark and moody, reflecting the brand of the hotel - Mövenpick. Our room was excellent - again, dark decor, but very high tech. Most things - air con, lights, shutters - were controlled by a panel on the wall, so you need to get to used to how things work, but once you do, it all makes absolute sense. Everything was so comfortable - the bed was beautiful with wonderful linen and the bathroom was gorgeous. Dinner in the evening was of a very, very high standard, as was breakfast. The dining area was really clean and it was good to staff cleaning up, and paying real attention to hygiene detail. Parking is on site for a small fee.

The website states that every day there is a Chocolate Hour, where complimentary chocolate treats are available for sixty minutes, every day. We didn't book specifically for this, but it was a bit disappointing at check in to be told that this only happened Monday - Friday, and not weekends (we stayed on a Saturday). Perhaps this should be made clearer online, or the info changed to reflect the fact that it's week days only...

The shampoos and lotion were really nice and the towels fluffy. I liked the coffee in the room and at breakfast. Super high tech windows which can actually open. The curtains are amazing because you can completely darken the space.

It's a bit annoying the bathroom doesn't have a proper wall (it's glass) because the light disturbs the other person still asleep. The fruit (melon) at breakfast was too old to be served.

First impressions, right? This Hotel was the icing with cherry on my cake for my Zagreb stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Also no frills & quick check in and check out (which I deem important). Room and hotel very pleasant from a practical point of view and also from the design (I loved its aesthetics) perspective. Parking right below the hotel was so immensly practical. Gym A+. I also enjoyed the variations provided for breakfast. Nice meeting rooms (didn't use them but had a quick peek). Shower head. Yes, it's the details. They do have a proper German (sorry rest of the world, but your shower heads are junk) shower head. And proper water pressure. Yay! They obviously care for keeping a clean hotel and clean rooms, standards here are high and left this spoiled guy not much left to be desired (that being said, there were some spider webs on the emergency exit sign in the gym, lol).

Room doors slam loudly. This robbed me of my sleep as soon as other guests left early in the morning (and I already slept with ear plugs). While this is a general problem it also should be an easy fix. Some high-level criticism: I didn't care so much for the hair dryer. It works but also is loud and the cable is too short. Also an easy fix :-) I didn't see them or they don't provide hotel slippers.
