Breakfast buffet was great. Location across from the train/bus station was ideal. Room was very comfortable and bathroom was spacious. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, helpful, and gracious.
Inserting my room key into a slot by the door to turn on electricity was new to me. Shower controls were unusual and I’d prefer a fully enclosed shower. Taking a shower was a little bit of an adventure. Isn’t that why we travel?

We really enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn. On arrival we were greeted by John on reception - we explained that check in wasn’t until later that day but asked if we could drop our bags off. He kindly let us check in early. Then we had an issue with the door in our room, the manager Cloven went up to the room and helped and sent someone the next day to check the door over. We had some drinks at the bar and Stewart served us, who was super helpful and told us some good places to visit and things to do. Overall the staff made this hotel fantastic!

My daughter & I really enjoyed our stay at hotel. It is family friendly. They had an offer to get a free treat each day for children which of course my daughter loved. And dinner if I was having a main course. This was great as we didn't have lots of money for the trip. The breakfast was nice, but there was a noticeable difference on Monday that it wasn't as stocked up as it was the weekend. The shower in the room is modern and decent. The staff were friendly any time I asked for their help. Choice of hard & soft pillow was good. I had good sleep in bed. It is in a quiet area so there wasn't too much noise which was good for us to relax. I liked the way they served food all day in the hotel so we weren't stuck to particular times.
£14 a night for parking. This is standard all across belfast city centre hotels, unfortunately. Location is a little further from the centre (shopping area) than I would have liked, but a walk is no harm for us either. I liked the location in the end. When you enter the car park, it is confusing when you get lift as you land in a shopping centre. Turn right and that will bring you out nearest to hotel.

From the minute we arrived the staff were so welcoming. It was all decorated for Easter which was a really nice sight. We were served by Francine, who was absolutely lovely. A nice little Easter bag with chocolate and a free hot chocolate voucher for the kids. We didn't realise when booking that kids under 12 eat free so it was a lovely surprise to hear. Dinner was extremely good and very tasty. We were served by BAILEY both nights. She is an absolute credit to the holiday inn, she was so welcoming, always smiling, so so friendly and extremely efficient and helpful. She would be one of the reasons we would return to stay again as she was a breath of fresh air. Buffet breakfast was very good and tasty. So many options. Kids loved the pancakes and orange juice!! The room was spacious and clean, nothing to complain about. Bed was comfortable and kids slept on a pull out sofa bed and mentioned that it was comfortable. All in all, we were extremely happy with our stay.
A fridge in the room would have been nice. A bit of a draught from the window but not a huge issue as the curtains were heavy enough at night to not cause an issue

Room was nice. Outlets by the head of the bed. Breakfast had a large offering of hot food for an extra charge. Stayed here as part of a trip to see the Titanic Belfast experience, and this is a short drive from there. Parking is not on-site, but rather across the street at Great Northern. Pull a ticket on entry into the parking structure and parking can be paid for at the hotel reception; unsure if this has in-and-out privileges as we only stayed one day and drove off the next morning.
There were some coach buses parked in the drop-off area so I had drop off my group across the street. I suspect this doesn't happen too often, but it was a minor annoyance.

The location in Belfast was excellent. The hotel internal design was very modern and well laid out. The staff, each & every one were just super. I would make particular note of Vanessa who went above & beyond to help make it a pleasant stay. John the Supervisor was also great and was patient & professional helping me with queries. Breakfast was superb with everything clear and stocked-up. A round of applause to you all 👏👏👏
Very little. The option of a double bed in the room would have been great but perhaps it was there and I overlooked.

Excellent location, super friendly staff on reception, very clean throughout the whole vicinity, delicious breakfast, and the bed and pillows are so comfy. We stayed for 2 nights for my husbands birthday and I'm so glad we chose this as our base as it's an easy walk to the centre. We had dinner and drinks at the hotel on our first evening...highly recommend the chicken nduja linguine and titanic whisky. We had the breakfast on our first day and we were both impressed with the choices and everything was cooked well.
Our room (117) was directly above some noisy generators and delivery area so I'd probably request a room higher up for a quieter night.

We came here to attend The Open Championship in July. This place was so friendly, helpful, comfortable and the location was perfect. We could cut through a food hall to get to the train station (hello more coffee!) and stop through on the way back for a beer. The hotel bar staff were amazing as were all the front desk staff and services. No question was too much, and the conversations were wonderful. Beds were very comfortable and room was spacious enough with all the amenities we needed.

Staff everywhere were absolutely Brilliant so friendly, ask could they call by 1st name, that alone made me feel at home. No matter who you spoke with it was always 1st name.. i left Saturday 30th November 2024, approx 1:20pm-- just a small hiccup, Young lady didn't refund my card for £150 from when i booked in,she seemed lost. But i called back at 9pm spoke to the lovely Lizzy, she says my card will be sorted in 3-4days. I didnot use the £150 placed from card i paid myself to eat in your restaurant.. great team work from every1, you are definitely a star hotel, and i shall be booking again for January 25,, But i will add 1 more day.. thank you so much for my upgrade room.👌💕💕🥰🥰🙋♀️
Did order cheese burger & fries But the 1st burger 🍔 was cremated, your manager took it away while i eat fries waiting for 2nd burger, yes it was cooked better.. But my own opinion was something shud have been taken off the price for eating fries on thier own drinking tea. Then i eat the burger & finished my water.. Because of this i didnot eat any other food in your restaurant. I did have your buffet breakfast, i enjoyed it.. afternoons i got a sandwich from the place end of street, so it did my evening meal.. Was sorry this happened with you cook, maybe he was having a bad day, The rest of the restaurant staff were brill. ❤️🥰

The hotel is located almost in the centre of Belfast, a stone’s throw from all amenities and the historic area. The price was excellent, the staff was accommodating and kind, the atmosphere very festive within sheer functionality and comfort. The room was very clean and modern wherein we enjoyed everything that was laid out for us. The mini-gym on the ground floor was a bonus. The tea and coffee corner was well-supplied. Thank you!
One mini-gym exercise bike needed fixing. Perhaps instructions for TV usage in the gym or radio / music for company - quietness is okay too. I'm overall happy though. I was satisfied with mini-gym's threadmill.
