Location great. Short walk to Cutty Sark, Maritime Museum, river, market, shops, cafes, restaurants. Bright and airy. Friendly staff. Comfortable room. Nice breakfast - worth the money if you consider how much you can eat and drink for the price compared to what you can get at local cafes.

Car parking is really difficult (and expensive) in Greenwich and although there is a car park under the hotel it can get full, then it's difficult to find anywhere else especially to stay overnight. We've been lucky on several occasions, but last weekend was a struggle. We got in eventually, but it was stressful. Car park at novotel costs £25 a day.

The hotel was in an excellent location for visiting Greenwich Park and the Observatory and for commuting into central London (about 25 minutes on the Thameslink train). Walking around was really easy and the town centre of Greenwich was attractive with some interesting shops. The hotel itself has a beautiful reception and restaurant/bar area with botanical-themed decoration. The restaurant was open for evening meals and as well as there being a good selection on the menu, there was a £5 discount offer on drinks for guests who chose not to have housekeeping services.

The room was comfortable, but there were some scratches and marks on surfaces in the bathroom - it could do with some freshening up. One other thing guests who like to sleep early need to take note of - if you have a room overlooking the station, you can hear train noise until around midnight.

Property was in a prime location. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. No noise.

After returning from a show, we could not access the entrance to the hotel at 23:15PM. After scanning our cards to get in, it wouldn’t work. There were multiple people trying to gain entry and no staff member was in sight. After several minutes passed, a lady opened the door. Not at any point did the receptionist say the reception wasn’t manned 24hrs during check in. Not to mention that when the door was opened to allow us in, she didn’t even check our cards, so people who may not have had reservations could have entered. Not very good security. Attention to detail in the rooms with refilling shower gel etc as they were empty!

Wonderful breakfasts, beautiful lobby, 24-hour bar, good location. I love Greenwich; it’s the best place for families, with a park nearby offering beautiful views, plenty of cafes, and not as crowded as central London. The train station is right next to the hotel, and there’s a light rail station not far away. The price/quality ratio of the hotel is excellent for London. Parking is 25 euros for 24 hours, which is a good price. We arrived late in the evening, and even though we checked out in the morning, we could leave the car longer. We will definitely return here.

Location - 5 minute walk to Greenwich park, cutty park, Greenwich market. Good transport links from hotel to get around south London or into the city. Iron and ironing board in the room. Comfy bed. Lots of towels.

Limited parking and only got a spot because we timed it right and someone was leaving. Also when we wanted to leave it took along tjme for thw auto gate to open for the car to drive through. One key card to share between 2 people. We were going to different places at different times and only one of us had a key. Not all the lights in the room worked so it was difficult to put on makeup at night.

I've stayed here before and had a similar great experience. Last time I was on the road side of the hotel, this time the railway side, but on neither occasion was there any discernible noise. The room was very spacious and comfortable with all facilities in working order. The hotel is right next to the rail and DLR station and therefore couldn't be better located for getting around London. A 5-10 minutes walk takes you up into the town and the museums, so ideal really. I didn't have the breakfast so can't comment on that.

The only downside was the moronically loud "music" in the bar area, which didn't really fit with the ambiance of the place. Apart from that very minor issue everything else was excellent.

Staff were very nice. Room was clean and tidy, the maid was a lovely lady. The location is spot on you can walk downtown easily. Public transport is available 2 minutes from the hotel and easy to use. Trains and buses. With the train station next door. I stayed for 4 nights and never heard any noise at all from the train station. Lots of places to eat and drink nearby, spoilt for choice. Would stay again at this Hotel + area. Go and see for yourself you wont be disappointed.

Nothing to complain about.

Ideally located for travel options and Greenwich itself. Room was comfortable, well heated but with good ventilation, effectively two double beds for me and my teenage son, bathroom small but perfectly formed, with useful separate WC, massive TV screen, plenty of powerpoints, excellent wifi, plenty of tea/coffee/milk. Then a spacious restaurant for breakfast, which was never too crowded, and we also had dinner there one night.

Only relatively minor things. Could have done with more wardrobe space - nowhere really to put socks and pants. The cooked breakfast was good but some of the other options were a bit limited. It's difficult to please a large international clientele but there could be more cereals and more fresh bread available. The machines were not great - coffee was mediocre, the toaster took half the morning to lightly brown the slices...

The staff were exceptionally friendly and always ready to assist with any needs. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and well-appointed with all the amenities I could ask for. I especially enjoyed the comfortable bed and the serene atmosphere, which made for a relaxing and restful stay. The hotel's location is excellent, with easy access to public transportation and local attractions. I also appreciated the delicious breakfast buffet, which offered a variety of options to start the day off right. Overall, my experience at Novotel Greenwich exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a top-notch stay in the area. I will definitely be returning on my next trip!
