This hotel is just steps from the beach. They serve complimentary breakfast every morning. The breakfast was delicious and their staff was super friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend taking the cooking class offered at this hotel. It was one of the highlights of our trip. My husband and I had the best vacation here. We didn't want to leave!

If I had to say one negative thing, it would be that this hotel is not accessible by car. It was fine for my husband and I, but keep this in mind when booking. We took a car service from Rome to Positano and the car couldn't get close to the hotel because of too much foot traffic. We would definitely stay here again!

So much to like. Very very easy to get to from the ferry. Walking distance from ferry with very few steps to climb. The view from our room was everything I hoped for. Our balcony had a beautiful view of the sea and Positano. Breakfast had everything you could want....eggs, bacon, meats, fruits, sweet and or savory breads, juice and coffees. The restaurant was also very good with incredible views.

Our stay at Hotel Buca di Bacco in Positano was nothing short of amazing. The breakfast was excellent, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the overall atmosphere felt warm and authentic. The location is absolutely unbeatable—right in the heart of Positano with stunning views everywhere you turn. The staff made the experience even better; everyone was friendly and attentive, and a special thanks goes to Mario at the front desk, who was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

The location is excellent, the cleanliness is top-notch, and the views are stunning.

The bar staff could benefit from a more proactive and enthusiastic approach to customer service. While their lack of attentiveness was noticeable, I must commend the bartender for crafting exceptional cocktails that truly stood out. Each drink was expertly mixed, showcasing a delightful blend of flavors. Overall, I would give the cocktails two enthusiastic thumbs up, but the overall experience would have been greatly improved with a more engaging and helpful staff.

Buca di Bacco was recommended to us from another friend, and it did not disappoint. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating - anything you need just ask them. The view was unmatched! And the room/property/location was perfect in every way! We were particularly impressed with the staff - Danko, Katrina Giouanni and Roberto helped to make the experience wonderful. They greeted you when you came down to the amazing breakfast and were so responsive to any request. We have not had as wonderful and varied a breakfast as they offered. Will absolutely stay here again!

The location is amazing. Footsteps from the beach and stores. The view from our room with a balcony was exceptional. The room was very spacious, updated and clean. The staff at the restaurant for breakfast and front desk were very friendly and helpful.

The owner/manager was very rude to us. Not realizing that we were hotel guests, I believe, he tried to shush us away from the hotel entrance while we were finishing a gelato we had bought next door. He kept saying how it's over tourism in the area, that it's a nice hotel and we were blocking the front door. He even said we didn't belong there. Meanwhile we had 3 of their top suits for 3 nights. I can understand him wanting the front of the hotel to be unobstructed but he should have approached us in a respectful way even if we weren't hotel guests. After he realized we were hotel guests he didn't even care to apologize. I think that's unacceptable.

Clean, a wonderful balcony lookout with a spectacular view, friendly and welcoming staff, and conveniently located right on the beach. We had a wonderful stay with our family and the hotel gave our rooms right next to each other which was great. The breakfast was vast with lots of choices. The rooms were spacious enough and we really had an amazing stay.

In the toiletries provided there was no body lotion which I’m used to seeing (maybe it’s an Italy thing?). Carry bug spray - you’re right near the water!

Views from the balcony were unbeatable. Staff doing an afternoon turnover was a nice touch. Room was spacious and elegantly furnished with all the amenities we appreciated like big plush towels & robes, room & beach slippers, etc. Staff were professional & friendly, ready to work on requests. Appreciated the bag that the beach towels came in. Kudos to all the front desk staff, especially Mario who went above & beyond.

Felt badly tracking sand in from our time on the beach. Was there a foot shower we didn’t know about?

The accomodation is beautiful, clean and in a good location. A big shout out to the staff who are so helpful and kind. The breakfast is off the charts and I have never experienced such a selection of food of good quality. I would recommend not staying during June - August due to tourism, however that is a personal preference only. I would highly recommend booking Buca Di Bacco. Happy booking ✨

We absolutely loved Buca di Bacco and the staff was amazing!! Even though we had a smaller-ish room, the view was spectacular and made up for it. Plus, we didn't spend much time in there other than to look at the spectacular sites. The breakfast brunch was spectacular and we had a hard time choosing every morning. They made arrangements for our transportation to the airport, and we loved our driver also - Vincenzo! The hotel is close to the ferry, so when we went to Capri and also took a private tour to Amalfi and little towns, it was great to be so close. One thing I would recommend is getting an upper room, which capitalized on the spectacular room. Would definitely go to Buca again!!

Other than room size being a little smaller, the view made up for it!! That would definitely not deter me at all!
