I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Florida Park Hotel. The location was ideal, with restaurants, transportation, and grocery stores conveniently nearby. The late operating hours of local restaurants were a delightful bonus. The receptionist provided exceptional service, showcasing warmth and professionalism over the phone and in person. Check-in was seamless and efficient. The unit surpassed my expectations, offering ample space and a well-appointed bathroom with a window – a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend Florida Park Hotel for its excellent amenities and exceptional service.

There wasn't an iron in the unit, which made it pretty awkward ironing outside the unit and I didn't feel safe. Additionally, I noticed black stains on the linen, which initially caused concern. Upon closer inspection, I assumed they were iron marks, those were on the sheets, the bed cover had a huge stain as well, again, I could tell that the linen was clean and that put my mind at ease a bit.

They need to fumigate the rooms there were coacroches, the electronic safes were not working they also need to provide microwaves in the rooms we ended up eating cold foods.

Had a relaxed stay. Asked for and got a quiet room at the back (with ocean view as bonus), so could be close to the action but without the disturbance. Room was clean, bed clean and comfortable, bathroom was functional and clean - e.g. towels changed daily. Coffee facilities and fridge in the room. Safe and easily accessible parking for car. I liked the fact that the hotel was not crowded, even over a long weekend, as it in reality is a small hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff. It really is great value for money! Will stay here again.

Next time I will go with the "bed only" (no breakfast) option. There are many breakfast options available at Florida road restaurants that are better in my view than what this small venue is able to offer.

I had a fantastic stay at the Florida Park Hotel! The room was comfortable and well-equipped. I felt very secure throughout my stay, thanks to the robust security measures in place. But what really made my stay stand out was the hotel's convenient location. I was within walking distance to a variety of restaurants and stores, making it easy to grab a bite to eat or pick up anything I needed. The combination of comfortable accommodations, amenities, and location made for a truly enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend the Florida Park Hotel to anyone looking for a hassle-free and convenient place to stay in the area! 5/5 stars

Nothing at all I didn’t like.

Located in the heart of the lively Florida street district, this hotel is surrounded by businesses to cater to all your needs within walking distance. I had a second floor room in the back with sea view, it is quiet (which may not be the case if your windows are to the street). Staff is very helpful as is the manager, I got valuable travel info from them which facilitated the planning of my trip. Slept very well.

Shower door did not close properly so the bathroom floor got wet every time I showered.

What a wonderful experience that exceeded my expectations. Great location with free secure parking. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming especially Malusi the reception manager...what a fantastic host who went out of his way and made me smile from the moment I walked in. The rooms are very spacious and the bathrooms are also huge by standards. It's not over the top in terms of decor but everything is spotlessly clean and the rooms are serviced every day. The bed was large and comfortable and I would definitely stay there again. It also brought back fond memories of the Hotel California it replaced with the much frequented Bonkers Bar downstairs which I was a regular patron of in the early 90s.

The hotel is not very sound proof and corridors can become echo chambers with early morning staff or hotel guests moving around. the rooms also smelt a little like the “butchers block below” as the rooms at the back are on top of the restaurant extractor fan.

The excellent service by staff who were friendly and exceptional at communication. The facilities were exactly what you needed and efficient enough within the price of what you're paying for. A huge plus is the close proximity of the hotel to points of interest in and around Durban, use of Uber and walking was cost efficient and safe.

Better soundproofing due to the location of the hotel close to busy nightlife. Better upkeep of furniture and infrastructure as tables, cupboards and chairs had multiple scratches and/or damages.

It was clean and peaceful. Receptionist was open and welcoming.it was peaceful I thought the noise in cubana was going to disturb but it was quite peaceful we slept through the whole night with no problems.

I wouldn't say I didn't like this but as a first time guess I had to look for my own room which was a bit uncomfortable because I don't know the building now I have to wonder around looking at the numbers on the door to find my room.

The Carpets Had A Smell That Wasn't So Good. Also There Was An Off Smell In The Bathroom But It Was Bearable. Hated the stairs yoh lol was booked on a 2nd floor.
