The location, staff, and food at this property are truly 5-star. The views are breathtaking, and the peaceful setting makes it the perfect place to relax and switch off. The owners are incredibly welcoming and go out of their way to create a unique, personal experience in this beautiful corner of Slovenia. The food is exceptional—abundant, delicious, and a real highlight of the stay. Rooms are simple and comfortable, exactly as described, but it’s worth checking the details when you book as some have shared or external bathrooms. If you want an authentic taste of rural Slovenia, surrounded by stunning scenery and genuine hospitality, this is absolutely the place to come!

One of the mattresses in our room wasn't the most comfortable, but I always think mattresses are a subject of varied opinion. It didn't make our stay any less amazing!

It was a wonderful stay all round. As we were travelling a lot due to the dog show, we were able to relax very well here. Our dogs had a paradise here and we felt very welcome. The accommodation is familiar and it was like "coming home" every day. The daily dinner from "Mum" was unique and delicious every day, as was the breakfast, which was very extensive and fresh. We never regretted eating there a single day. Urban was very attentive, no wishes were left unfulfilled and he was always up for a laugh. A great family with their hearts in the right place

A small TV in the room would have been great but that wasn't really a problem

Eeverything felt like a dream — I felt extremely comfortable, and so did my girlfriend. Our dog Boss absolutely loved it too! Everything was beautifully and sweetly decorated. There wasn’t even a single spider or bug anywhere in the room — we were amazed at how perfectly clean everything was! The food was also very delicious, and we want to give a huge compliment to Urban — he fulfilled every wish we had. We were very happy with everything and will definitely recommend booking a stay there to everyone we know! We are already thinking about making another booking!😊😊😊

This farm is a paradise. The place is inspiring and really above our expectations. The garden with the view, the amazing breakfast, the quiet room and the hospitality of the beautiful Strle family make the experience totally memorable. We had homemade dinner the three nights we stayed: every day with different options. We spent time with other guests and had a bonfire night. They also lent me a guitar. People with great hearts + amazing environment is the perfect combination. I recommend this place and I am looking forward to come back. Thanks especially to Urban for his kindness.

Our stay was simply fantastic! The kitchen was an absolute highlight – they served typical Slovenian specialties that were both delicious and of high quality – even vegetarians are well catered for. Every meal was a delight, and it was evident that great importance was placed on using local and fresh ingredients. The surrounding nature was breathtaking. The landscapes invited us for extended walks and hikes, offering a perfect setting for relaxation and rejuvenation. Whether you seek tranquility or wish to actively explore the surroundings, there's something here for everyone. Overall, a wonderful stay that I can warmly recommend. Everything was just perfect – from the warm hospitality to the delicious cuisine and the stunning nature.

We stayed at the tourist farm strl for one week with family (couple with child). The farm is a quite and peaceful place in the slovenian countryside. Very relaxing. Also nice paths for hiking around ! Breakfast is various and delicious including pancakes, eggs,yoghurt... The owners were always available for any request. You can also have dinner, very good cooking with local products. We received also some ideas to travel around in the region.  In one word: perfect!

Nothing, it was perfect.

Best hotel of our road trip. A country home-like atmosphere with the family working hard to keep everyone happy, well-fed and comfortable. I had an honor to play chess with the dad and our dog, played with kids and other dogs in a relaxed and unconstrained way. The food was out of this world. We loved it so much that we overindulged a bit... We also enjoyed the surroundings immensely. There is a river nearby, and the pristine vistas make you awestruck. The village itself is quaint, clean and safe. We loved everything and can't wait to come back..

All the family were friendly helpful and looked after us from start to finish of our stay. We arrived a little early but were met with a huge welcome from Judita who arranged for us to park our motorcycles in a garage. Urban came to meet us also with a huge welcome he opened the bar so we could have a drink while we waited for our rooms. Rooms were lovely and clean. All home cooked food with lots of different dishes best ever. Breakfast was great with lots of variety. The views were amazing . A great place to stay . Thank you Judita and Urban for a lovely stay.

When arriving we were warmly welcomed and the whole host family was lovely. Garden and yard were beautiful and it was perfect for relaxing. We had dinner prepared by the mother. We had no clue what we were going to get but were happily suprised. Full board of Slovenian traditional foods and we ate them all! Our room didn't have bathroom but we had separate bathroom which was only for us and located just next door.

Nothing really to complain but we would have liked to see more animals and farm activities.

Very unique and special experience, they paid special attention to our needs. Dinner for one had generous portions and was more than enough in quantity to feed 2. There was a lot of signage that made it easy to find. There is also a shared community room with many games, toys and snacks. There is a lot to do all around the farm, and amazing views in every direction!
