In general, good value for your money! Very friendly host. The room was fine and the beds were comfortable. We really liked the location, besides the fact that it was a 20min walk to the city centre, but it was a really calm neighborhood and not full of touristic places and restaurants. The bathroom was basic but clean and everything worked just fine. Overall, great place to stay during your citytrip to Florence!

We missed a small fridge and a water boiler in our room. And there was not much space to store your clothes. The location is not close to all the highlights in Florence but for us this was not a problem; we like to walk:)

Good location and easy with the code only entry

Person doing check in didn't inform anything about communal spaces, such as I didn't know there was a microwave and refrigerator. That being said the ground floor communal space wasn't open 24 hours, which would have even nice. The rooms and bathroom need trashcan please ! There was no where to put my trash. The dorms did not have a lock, which I don't mind but just informing people who are more comfortable with some security. There was also someone playing the piano at 5AM in the morning, I'm not sure why, but I couldn't go back to sleep after that :/

The host was very kind and helpful by providing very detailed information of places where we could go to visit as well as restaurants and bars. We also were able to check in at 11.45am instead of 3pm which was very much appreciated! The room and bathroom we had was on second floor and it was very clean! Location is absolutely spot on. 3 min walk to any bus stops, supermarket 5 mins away, restaurants 3 mins away and a 20 min walk to where the river is!

The room was a little bit on the smaller side and there was only 1 toilet roll for 3/4 bedrooms. The air conditioning stopped working on day 2 which meant leaving windows open and getting eaten alive by mosquitoes. Otherwise, everything else was good! I would stay again, but not for that price.

Pros were the location across the river in the Oltrarno area, away from the crowds but close enough to walk to attractions, the cleanliness of the place and the attentive staff who checked us n.

Most hostels provide a shared kitchen and community area with a place to eat, but we were told that the kitchen was “not for guests”. Why not? It is expensive to eat in restaurants for every meal and inconvenient to go out for coffee if you are an early riser. We would have preferred to prepare some meals and eat at the hostel. The rooms are also very small and packed close together so that you hear every sound from those nearby and in the hallway. For these 2 reasons I would not choose to stay here again.

Pleasant and quiet location. Not far from the city center and all the main attractions. After a busy day, it was so nice to relax in peace and quiet. The staff was very friendly and always smiling — they shared all the information we needed

The bathroom could use a bit of cosmetic renovation, but it’s nothing critical. You need a bit of luck with the neighbors, as the walls are quite thin and noise from the hallway can be heard clearly when a loud group passes by.

we really enjoyed our stay in this place. the location was convenient. 30 minute walk from touristic places. the staff were friendly and explained everything quite well. Ac worked great. the interior design is impressive. And we could leave our stuff there after our check out so it was really helpful. overall I recommend this place.

it would be nice to have at least a small bottle of water there. when we first arrived we did not have anything and too tired to go out side and get water so we were a little bit bothered by that. also the bed was supposed to be a queen bed but it was two singles pushed together, but not a big deal. also be careful there is not any shampoo or anything inside the shower so make sure to bring yours. but there is towels so its good.

The accommodation was easy to get to and the guy at the reception always available to answer my questions. The common areas are very nicely decorated, giving it a unique style. The room had a lot of natural light and was large enough for two people. However, there weren’t many furnishings such as closets and there were few bathrooms for the amount of rooms so sometimes we had to wait a while before being able to shower.

Helpful and kind staff, got a hanger for clothes and advice on where to travel next. Good common area both inside and outside. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, good shower and toilet, got a towel, contacts near the beds and a lamp.

Was a bit loud one night when there was a social gathering downstairs. I slept on the first floor tho, and would still recommend the place. Also they dont have a place to leave your laugage/lockers for a big bag.

Amazing staff. Andrea was super friendly and even allowed me to send my suitcase to the hostel while I walked the via degli dei. Location was great, too. I really liked my own little room.

Lots of mosquitoes, because the cleaner left the windows wide open. Also the kitchenette didn’t have a kettle. The employee offered me the one from their big kitchen but that was very inconvenient. They should just provide a kettle on each floor. :)

Beautiful place in charming area - it used to be elementary school. The reception with bar was just wow impression. The guy who checked us in was really nice. The room was basic but for us enough -we excepted it. Shared toilet was cleaned every day. When we were there (November) was really calm - no parties at all.

Maybe just bed - I slept well but my partner felt some springs underneath.
