Carl'a was so hospitable and helpful. We stayed in the Emmerico apartment, very well laid out , comfortable, fabulous quiet air con.and a lovely terrace. with all round sun . There was also a beautiful garden to use.It was a 25 min walk into town but we enjoyed that taking in the surroundings. Metro just over the road and Ubers readily available. The nearest beach is about 3 miles away but walkable or you can take a bus /Uber /tram. Tram 1 from Sao Francisco church takes you to the Foz region, which has beautiful beaches. We will definitely be back at some point.

Beautifully designed building with 19th century marble pieces, high stucco ceilings and yet newly renovated and well maintained. We had a large, comfortable room with a big balcony (table and chairs outside), modern kitchen and bathroom with all we needed. In the back of the building there is a big backyard with lounge chairs, trees for shade and away from any street noise. 3 supermarkets are a few minutes walk away, one almost just across the street. Buses and a metro stop are also close by but we walked always into town (about 20 minutes to the city hall with the famous Porto sign). Check-in and check-out were easy and Carla was super nice and responsive. When we had an issue with the air conditioner, she looked into it right away and left us a big fan in the room. On our last day we could leave our suitcases until the late afternoon safely locked away. We would gladly return here and to beautiful Porto!

Although not in the very center of town, there is a street with car traffic downstairs which can be noisy at times. If you close the windows or have the air conditioner on, you will not here much though.

Good size very clean apartment. Cleaning was done regularly on request. Location was ok, but approximately 30 min walk to central locations. Standard of apartment incl equipment very good

We have been in the deluxe studio (last minute travel choice). The place is very nice, nicely decorated, full of light due to the big balcony window and more spacious that I thought from the pictures. The balcony is big, the bathroom comfortable and the kitchen well furnished. The staff is very much available.

If I have to mention something that could be improved, maybe the furniture in the balcony; as it is spacious, maybe a more comfortable set of chairs&table could fit well. And a balcony umbrella could definitely improve the usability in hot sunny days.

Carla was absolutely wonderful and filled with useful information on where to go and what to do. She even directed us to our next region to explore, the Schist Villages of Central Portugal! She's a very special person and the property is lucky to have her and the housekeeper from Brazil, they are both lovely and caring people! We'd come back just or them!

Easy access to garden, metro and ne local amenities. Very comfortable and well equipped. More private space than in the hotel

There was a wet towel from a previous guest left in the bathroom that housekeeping missed. Directions and information on public transport was not accurate and resulted in us wasting two hours in awful weather trying to get from Boa Vista to Vila Nova de Gaia. In the end we figured it out for ourselves from then on.

Nice sized apartment with all the facilities needed. Beautiful garden that provided shadow on a hot day. Located close to buses, Metro, restaurants, and convenient shops. Employees are welcoming and helpful. Tina planned and booked a great trip for us to a vineyard in the North, which was one of the best day of our trip. 😀

Lovely hosts. Very clean and well equipped kitchen. Lots of space (although still being a studio) and very modern room. Nice garden and nice vibes. Also, across the street is a parking lot that is part of a garage with very friendly and helpful people. Plus supermarket is right around the corner.

I loved the artistic style. It was beautiful and felt luxurious.

It didn’t have air conditioning which was fine because of the thick stone walls. But I was there for 3 weeks and during the heatwave it was a bit hot.
