I visit this beautiful old Hotel over a decade. . It's located in Budapest's heart so you can enjoy delicate cuisine in the surrounding streets. I would also recommend the restaurant on its own. A high class cuisine. The own Pool and small Sauna on the upper floor is a welcome treat after long walks during the winter season. As Espresso is my business I will tell you a secret. Probably the best Espresso in Budapest. We tried for sure. The perfect start in your morning with that breakfast. Well done to all the individuals who are doing there job there. I'm always blessed to be your guest ladies and gentlemen. See you in spring again. Thank you for everything :)

There is nothing what you can complain about.

The Front of house staff and in the gallery bar were always very helpful and professional. Liked the touch of having a concierge meet us from taxi and guide us to our room.

The heating in bathroom was not working so was quite cold. The fan heating in the room was very noisy when switched on. The pillows were not comfortable.

Restaurant staff, in particular one member was rude and took ages to serve us so we ended up leaving. And it wasn’t us he was rude to it was a couple from Japan.

This hotel is a true hidden gem in Budapest. It appears very simple and almost hidden from the outside but the interior design (especially of the main entrance hall) is stunning. Upon arrival, we enquired whether our room was ready (way before check-in times) and we were given the possibility to already check-in before lunchtime. The rooms are of a good size, have all basic equipment and beds are quite comfortable. What we liked the most was the location - easy to reach all the main Budapest landmarks by walk and surrounded by good restaurants. Breakfast was ok - a bit on the pricier side, albeit well organized and with plenty of space to enjoy a meal in peace. We were also allowed to keep our luggage stored at the hotel after checking out for no additional fee.

Walls were quite thin and it was possible to hear most happening in the other rooms and corridor. Complimentary toiletry offer was quite limited. Breakfast choices were good but limited for the price (EUR 15). There is no coffee machine but only powder coffee to mix in with water.

I liked the overall feeling and design. Rooms were pretty spacious and comfortable to stay in. Location was great especially if you want to visit Advent market and city center these days. I liked the spa and pool option a lot.

We stayed for the weekend plus Monday. It was never mentioned anything about Monday and Tuesday being clean up days which meant pool and spa couldn't be used. Also gym was unavailable at that time, too. I think it should be clearly stated before you plan your trip at the hotel.

Beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. Although a couple of reviews said the rooms were small, we did not find this to be the case (at least it wasn’t small by our standards). A lot of reviews also mention the location not being the nicest, but we loved it due it it’s close proximity to good restaurants and bars (we found the ones around here to be less touristy than the centre), and we never once felt unsafe. Spa facilitates are nice and the breakfast was great with a big variety of options.

Spa facility and breakfast could get crowded, but it wasn’t a huge problem for us and we never had to queue for breakfast, even though we saw that others did on some of the days.

What I liked most about the hotel was its perfect location – in my favorite Budapest neighborhood, close to great restaurants and bars, yet quiet inside. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and check-in was smooth. Our room was comfortable, beautifully designed, and very clean, with a spacious closet. The breakfast had a lot of variety and was served in a lovely setting. I also appreciated the bar’s relaxed atmosphere and the wellness area, especially the pools and outdoor lounge space. Overall, it felt like great value for the price.

While I had a good stay, there were a few things that could be improved. The bed was a bit too soft for my taste, and the air conditioning was somewhat noisy. The bathroom felt a little tight, and I would have preferred a shower instead of a tub. The sauna was very small—only enough space for two people, and you can’t lie down in it. The gym and outdoor wellness area are starting to show some wear and could use a refresh. Lastly, the breakfast setup could be rearranged to improve the flow, as some stations created bottlenecks.

I booked this hotel because I needed a hotel with a pool for a quick activity for rainy days since I was traveling with children. This was the only option that had a decent price and location. For the price, it was nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful any time I asked. They treated my children wonderfully, giving them special teddy bead key cards for the room and greeting them whenever they were in the lobby and providing extras of everything in our room without us ever asking. The room was very spacious and fit the four of us and our belongings great. It was very comfortable to move around. The beds were very comfortable, even the sofa bed which was spacious for my two kids. I have to mention that the pillows were ginormous and so comfy. The bathroom was also very spacious and having the tub and shower on separate sides of the bathroom made managing young children so easy. Unfortunately, the housekeeping is lacking. We would of course come back to find our room tidy but it wasn't CLEAN, and I know that because the hairs on the floor were always in the same place on the white bathroom floor and the dust on surfaces never seemed to lessen or go away. That's definitely a negative for me. The breakfast is decent but there aren't too many options. That didn't bother us because we arent huge breakfast people but I would have appreciated more fruit or vegetables. There were two instances that the cucumbers were definitely from the day (or more) before so that was a huge negative for me too. Be aware that while this is a good location, most attractions and restraunts are more than a 10 minute walk away so if that's not something you're willing to do, consider somewhere else. Overall, I would stay again if my next visit had the same criteria. The staff being so nice was enough for me.

The location is a strong advantage of this place and it was the most important thing for me, along with the cleanliness. The hotel is not bad, but the simple refurbishment would increase a standard much. However, I have to say that employees are very kind and helpful people. I enjoyed the outside swimming-pool on the roof, as well the one inside in. What I dislike the most was food. It was just fine, but I ecpected more condidering price and hotel's standard. What I can advise to the owner, please do not put one big duvet in double room. It is just uncomfortable for couples. Nevertheless, hotel service helped us to solve this issue.

Really great hotel, well located with easy access to everything and good links to public transport a short walk away. Breakfast offering was varied, although staff clearly overwhelemed when the hotel was full. Spa facilities were an added bonus. Room was well sized and bed was very comfortable, with some nice touches. Gluten free bread at breakfast was great, as was egg station. Would absolutely stay here again. Front of house staff were all excellent.

Our room was very warm, and the air conditioning made very little difference, but was really noisy even on the lower speed settings. Breakfast items whilst labelled well for allergens did not always have right description near each item. A seperate hot water machine would help with the queues for the coffee machines.
