The staff were extremely polite,friendly and helpful. They were the main strength of the hotel. In addition, the breakfast was fresh with an excellent variety and the hotel was very clean. The lounge/bar was also a very pleasant place to relax and have a drink in the evening.

The room was described as being air conditioned but after we arrived, we were told that the air conditioning wasn't turned on until the end of April. Our room was incredibly warm and stuffy but as we were in the centre of a city, if we left the window open it was too loud. Therefore, we barely slept on the first night. The reception staff were very helpful and had a fan put in our room, which really helped for the remaining nights, but if it had been made clear in the description that air conditioning wouldn't be available during our stay, I wouldn't have booked the room. I searched the description on boooing.com and couldn't see that this was explained anywhere.

Great location, and they accommodated a late request for an extra bed so we could have 3 people. In the room. Pool was small but nice to have.

Our room did not have a shower, it was only a bath with a handheld shower head that had a holder at waist height & no shower curtain. In my 55 years I have never experienced this in a hotel room. Make sure you ask for a room with a proper shower.

The hotel is centrally located within walking distance to all of Valletta’s attractions. The rooms are beautifully decorated and ours had great views over Sliema harbour and lovely domed cathedral. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

In addition to being in a superb location in Valletta, the Osborn had a welcoming staff and very well-appointed rooms. I'd happily stay here again - with one caveat in the other category.

When the door lock AND LATCH on my room failed to catch and hold, leaving the room not just insecure, but unable to be secure, they moved me (well, I had to move my own stuff) to another room. The second room was itself very comfortable, but they didn't (1) reduce my room cost because of the inconvenience nor (2) reduce my room cost because the second room had no view (an air shaft). It was comfortable, but after the superb setting visible from the first room, there is no question but what the second room was significantly less attractive, and should therefore have cost less - for the lack of a view, plus the inconvenience I was put to in having to move everything for my last night there.

My husband was recovering from a serious illness during the winter and this was our first trip away in six months. As we know the Osborne having stayed there previously we considered it would be the ideal place for us and we were not mistaken. The location is perfect, so near to all amenities, yet so quiet We took advantage of the comfort of the hotel, the elegant lounge, the beautiful bedroom and the roof terrace then went for short strolls round the city. We have been to Malta 20 plus times so this year no need to go charging around sightseeing though we had some lovely meals at our favourite restaurants and went to two recitals. The staff at the Osborne are wonderful, kind and caring, yet never "in your face", and as for the breakfasts - well they are the best we have ever had when on holiday and the staff were super efficient in such a quiet way.

Excellent location, clean, good breakfast, 2 steps to get in the then they have a lift. Cleaning staff was amazing. Had refrigerator, 2 water bottles complimentary , kettle and tea/coffee items. Close to Bus terminal and other major sites nearby, lots of restaurants around. Car, taxis can come right to the door.

I was on the 1st floor so opening the window let in mosquitoes. The window faced other walls😔, the room layout was a bit odd… you had to step up to go through a dressing area to go to the bathroom. In the dark it was a step up, maneuver around a stool then go around the sink to get to the toilet.

On my arrival at the hotel I was greeted warmly by Savior, and Dennis, Robert, and the entire staff at the Osborne Hotel provided me with exceptional customer service the entire time I was there. My room had an amazing view and was among the nicest I've ever stayed in, very spacious and beautifully decorated. The dining room was well laid out and the excellent buffet breakfast with plenty of choice provided a nice start to the day. The Osborne hotel is in an ideal location for anyone wishing to be based in the heart of Valletta, with great bars, restaurants, shopping, and music right outside your door, and close to the Ferries to hop across and visit Sliema and Gozo. I would highly recommend this wonderful Hotel to any visitor to Valletta, a historic destination that has so much to offer, and I definitely intend to return again in the future and my first choice will be The Osborne Hotel.

Beware, some rooms lack windows! In my room there was no work desk. It's annoying if you have to use your laptop . The whole hotel needs paintwork! !! The reception staff were not fully qualified to use the computer system, so it caused confusion and delay. When I asked the man in reception to order a cab, he gave me only an expensive alternative and wanted to take the payment. Not trustworthy.

Perfect location, in the heart of La Valletta. This hotel is perfect for sightseeing and not so far from from the boarding point to Sliema. Close to monuments, places of interest, shops and restaurants. BTW we found many vegan friendly places in the nearby like Soul Food, Debono coffe shop, Is suq tal belt food market and all around like Carolina's tea room (Sliema) or Naar (Bolluta bay). Quiet area during the night. The room was comfortable, clean and large. Breakfast in the average. Staff polite and professional. Two thumbs up!

The location was perfect for exploring the City, with access to all local restaurants and bars. Staff were very friendly and helpful in all aspects, always pleasant and smiling. Room was very clean and well kept.

A minor gripe, but in all we were generally happy here; however, Bed/ pillows were very hard with no option to modify. The room temperature was too hot as the AC had been turned off. Left windows open, but not enough to ventilate. Understand this is local winter, but compared to our home location was nice and pleasant temp, so this made our room very hot, surprisingly without any heating. An option to self regulate temp in the room would have been a good option.
