It is a great location, very helpful and friendly staff. The kitchenette was good with everything we needed (we did cook there as we stayed several nights). We found the rooms quiet, with little noise from any of the other guests. There is a nice seating area round the back with barbecue, but we didn't use it on our stay.

The room description as having "air-conditioning" is slightly misleading. There is indeed a good ceiling fan, and a wall heater, but there isn't what we would call an air-conditioner. The room is quite cosy, must be nice and warm in winter, but in the mid-summer heat it does get very hot inside and a real air-conditioner would make it more comfortable. The staff were very helpful when we asked for provisions, but the daily room service didn't do simple things like re-stocking the tea/coffee supplies.

Very good proximity to Paeroa township, 15 minutes walking distance, or a 2 minute drive. The hotel is quiet and tranquil with a semi rural outlook. Lots of potted conifer trees and some fruit trees add to the relaxing ambience. Furnishings and room was clean with modern decor. Outdoor BBQ/seating area is secluded from the road providing privacy. Manager/owner is welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The hotel is also backed onto the owners property which adds extra security.

The unit I had unfortunately didn’t have air conditioning (the only room room left at time of booking) Although there was a cooler fan available it was simply too hot a day (29degC) to make any difference. I opened both back and front doors allowing wind to flow through.

The owner made us feel home. Checkout is at 10am but she allowed us to stay as long as we wanted. This was an absolute jackpot as we could finally sleep in. Can't thank her enough for that. She was happy to have a chat about our trip. She helped with information about the country, weather, best restaurants. We booked late evening for the same day, this was the only place still allowed bookings in the area. We got a room with everything new, it was recently renovated. The bed was great, nice calm location to have a stop over.

First arrival I met the manager, she had already communicated online how I can access the room as I’ll be arriving after hours. It’s clean and had all I needed. I chose this place based on the positive reviews and it sure did meet my standards. The bed also was amazing! Slept so good for my drive out of town. Local Mc ds made it easy for dinner and next day coffee. Was clean, roomy and felt safe. I’d recommend this stay to others on long trips for a simple no hassle stay.

Wish I could sleep the whole day in that bed! I had to check out.

This is our second time staying at this immaculately presented motel, and once again, it was a pleasure. We frequently stay at motels in the region, and out of all our experiences, there are only two motels in Paeroa that I would highly recommend,this is definitely one of them. Having worked in this industry, I understand the critical importance of maintaining high standards of cleanliness and delivering exceptional customer service. This motel exceeds expectations on both fronts

I was visiting friends who lived nearby for 4 nights over the Christmas period. The room was very spacious and located in a quiet area away from the main block. Room 10. The bed was super comfy with good quality pillows. Bathroom had a large walk in shower / wet area. I enjoyed using the complimentary toiletries. Nice quality finishes and felt clean. There was a box of chocolates in my room, on my return to the Motel on Christmas day. A lovely thought. I thought there were laundry facilities for guests (after reading some reviews ) and enquired. I do not think there was this service after all, but they were willing for me to use their washing machine. The surrounding area is beautiful and hilly. Reminded me of the peak district in Derbyshire.

Filter coffee and caffitaire would haven been a great addition to the kitchenette.

The motel had a reasonably well equipped kitchen, standard for motels in NZ, so we were a ble to prepare our own meals - a great cost saving for travellers

There was no air conditioning built in to the unit we were in, though a fan and a cooler were provided which helped with the very hot and humid conditions during our stay. Perhaps this aspect could be addressed in a future upgrade of the facilities?

Nice location. I wasn’t expecting a lot as this was a last minute booking we made and a bit further to where we intend to ho the next day. Staff were friendly and our room smell great and very clean. The room layout is really family friendly, beds are comfortable (I might need to ring to know the brand and type as we like it that much). Our kids wants to stay longer so we are definitely going back.

BEING WOKEN UP AT 6AM BY another motel user because his work truck had been blocked in, it wasn't our car blocking him in. We booked the room for two nights so watching tv was very uncomfortable there are no armchairs or sofas to sit on. We do not like sitting on a bed to watch tv. The kitchen chairs were no nice to sit on for long time.

That it was very close to our function. Cleanliness exceptional I highly recommend..

That I had booked for two days and could only stay for one day by my fault and that I couldn't remember if I changed my booking because I made that mistake the motel owner was disappointed but let me stay for the price of one day.. thankyou
