The hotrl is close to the city center/old town, 20 minutes wolking distance approximately. Polate stuff. Correct room. On Sunday, open market is next to the river, 5 mints walking distance from hotel, very nice domestic food, fruit, vegetable. Lyon City Car is great and very usefull - covers public transport, some museum entrues and you can get discount for the some museums that are on the list that you get with the card.

Not too safety - in the same street are man that should be avoided. Fortunately, if you choose the right street to get to the hotel, you can avoid unpleasent situation. Tge metro station close to the hotel has to be AVOIDED. Good to know that once you book the room, hotem hasto approve cancellation, so not free cancellation.

Location was excellent. Facilities were clean and modern, staff were very welcoming and helpful with any requests I had. The breakfast was fresh, well presented and plentiful. There is a small lounge area by reception if you want to sit out of your room. The reception is secured at night with a member of staff on door duty so controlled entry to the hotel at night felt reassuringly safe. A few minutes walk from Guilloterie Metro station and also just one street back from the Rhone where I went for morning runs, evening strolls and where you hire e-bikes from stations all across town.

This is a large hotel close to both Lyon's historical centre and the university. The streets nearby are not very pleasant, though. Our room had almost everything we needed, including a kettle for making tea. Cleaning on demand is also a good idea. The breakfast was really very good, and the staff were very kind and helpful.

Half of the room was just empty space, and there was nothing where one could conveniently put one's suitcase. The table was a bit smallish. The construction of the shower was such that spilling water on the floor was unavoidable, and there was not enough towel hangers for two persons.

Good location ，just between both Liberte and Guilotiere of Tram Station close to riverside of Le Rhone，where less than 10 Minutes away walking from train station by Tram T1 to or come from Perrache 。the receptionists were good ，who provided services of deposit luggages before check in for free，besides also there is a water machine offering cold sparkling and ordinary water for 24h for free，it’s considerable and estimable especially in such hot summer days。also there were spacious common area of relaxing atmosphere , room was cleaned，and the bed and pillows were comfortable ，air conditioning was running really well，don’t let those some negative comments mislead your choices。great value! highly recommend!

The hotel is a short bus ride from the railway station. I arrived about an hour before check in time but you can hang out in the lounge where there is a bar and even some board games to keep you amused. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and airy, the bed comfortable, the shower powerful and the air conditioning amazing (it was 36C outside). It's a short walk to the banks of the Rhône where you can find a mobile coffee van that sells great brews. You can sit on the steps and sip as the world goes by. I would happily stay here again.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the location was great—just a short walk to the city center and the old town. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was quiet, which made for a good night’s sleep. A solid choice if you want to explore the city on foot and still have a comfortable place to come back to.

Breakfast was tasty but the selection was quite limited. The room itself felt small, and the appliances could have been better—there was no safety deposit box or mini fridge, which would have been useful.

Location: easy tram ride from station, metro convenient for old town etc, close to river some good restaurants and bars. Hotel had a water cooler for refilling our water containers - excellent! Staff always friendly and pleasant Air-conditioning- great!

From the description...minor points... We were on the 8th floor - lift was good, but some stairs to get to room No sockets near the bed Electric kettle - good, but there isn't a 'tea/coffee' maker as well Wardrobe closet - good, but didn't find a 'clothes rack'

The property was lovely as were the staff, however it’s in a dodgy location.

The area around the hotel is extremely undesirable, it was unsafe and we were pickpocketed within minutes of leaving the hotel.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean with everything we needed including parking for our bicycles. Location was close to Lyon Part-Dieu and to our bike rental which was perfect for us. It was nice to have a kettle in the room although real cups instead of paper ones would have been nice.

Room a little dated but had everything we needed. Pillows very flat but that seems to be a thing generally in European hotels. A little distance from main centre/old town although location for us was very good as we needed to be nearer to the Part-Dieu train station.

really pretty, nice staff, big room and sink with a huge space for storage, also space for storage in room, location was a walkable distance from the oldtown

but sadly the location was also beginning of guillotière, which was part of lyon i didnt find really safe - so i didnt feel that safe the first night :(( – a lot of really weird people were around in the streets around/after 8pm. next day when we got back around 7pm everything was better:))
