We have been coming to this hotel for years. We are very satisfied with everything. It is located in the most beautiful location by the yacht marina. The rooms are spacious, clean, the furnishings are comfortable and perfect. The staff is very helpful and kind. The breakfast is varied and plentiful, and the dinner is also. I would like to specially note that the renovation was perfect. They did not skimp on the quality of the materials. The choice of colors is a hit. The furniture is beautiful and comfortable. It was very nice to see the change, I liked every detail. Big congratulations to everyone who made it happen.If you are in Opatija, then this is the only place worth booking.

A small negative, the number of sunbeds could be increased and the reservation system needs to be changed. But the staff was very helpful here too, they tried to ensure a place for everyone

We had a one-night stopover here on our way from Lake Bled in Slovenia to Plitvice Lakes. We were looking forward to relaxing after a long drive. There was a duo playing in the bar area in the evening who were very good - sadly, we were just about the only people left to listen to them for the 2nd half of their set!

The pool area is very nice but, despite a big sign on the door to the area saying Adults Only, we got splashed by kids playing in the pool, and a lot of water sloshed over the side (the pool is designed with small walls around it) and soaked some items which were on the floor (including a phone). It was not easy to get from the hotel to the seafront, where there was a "beach" area with sunbeds - you had to walk out of the front door and down the main road. There was also an additional charge for sunbeds on the seafront, which, given the cost of the room, seemed unreasonable!

My stay at this hotel was a truly wonderful experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, with great attention to detail and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally kind and professional, and I would especially like to highlight Miss Rebeka, who was incredibly helpful and welcoming – her kindness made a lasting impression. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options, and the location is perfect – everything you need is just a short walk away. I will definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and high-quality stay.

When arriving at the hotel you immediately note the personal touch with a porter to take your bagage and a valet to park your car. Welcome is extensive and warm. This hotel is right on the marina, our room had a balcony with great view. Room and bathroom are almost one with a separate door to the toilet. Great walk-in shower. Located right in the centre of Opatija, this hotel has restaurants, (super)market and bus stop nearby. The number 32 bus takes you to Rijeka for 3 euros one way.

Artificial flowers in front of the reception desk were unusual, somewhat kitsch, but apparently typical of Croatia.

The Grand Luxe Hotel is a top-tier choice for anyone seeking luxury and outstanding service.

The room was spacious (actually I got a free upgrade to a renovated room), had a balcony and sea view. It was equipped with all the things you would need (fridge, AC, electric kettle, cups, etc.). I got a bottle of wine with a note as a welcome gift, which was a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable. I bought breakfast twice and the buffet offered a very good selection. Everything was fresh and tasty. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

The only thing that was surprising to me was that water in the indoor pool was quite cold :)

Everything ! Location was great, beds comfortable and rooms clean. However what really stood out was the exceptional service by the team at reception. From small touches like welcome a welcome note with chocolate including a welcome drink right through to a surprise birthday cake for my mother in law celebrating her 80th birthday. As it was low season, we were also upgraded to a larger room, Hotel location is excellent for walking in the centre or going for walks on the Lungomare. There is a paid car park which is handy as parking in Opatija can be a challenge especially during high season

Beautiful location, loved relaxing in the wellness spa/pool area overlooking the beautiful Adriatic Sea! Also loved sunrises from our terrace!!

Construction workers still on site...renovations not quite completed. However we were kindly compensated for our inconvenience.

We liked the location, the beachfront, sea view was beautiful, staff was great, and so was the food.

It was a little bit crowded on the beach and on the pool, and there is no direct access from the pool to the beachfront. During showering water changes from hot to cold. These things didn't affect our stay, though.

Very nice, friendly staff. Location is amazing, right on the edge of the sea 🌊 very close to the center of the town. Very good breakfast, with a lot of different options. Service was excellent with welcome drinks upon arrival. The room was a corner one and it was spacious with nice balcony. The spa was big with indoor and outdoor swimming pool. Next time we will try the massages. Definitely coming back in the summer! 😊
