I really liked the set up of how you are left to your own devices during the stay. Staff were always on hand for help with anything and were extremely friendly. This made me feel like it was my place during my stay and was less intrusive. The room had everything I needed for my stay and if I needed anything extra (milk, tea, coffee, loo roll) it was on the landing. I would happily recommend anyone to stay at The Endeavour!

Thank you for having me! I just wanted to say that you absolutely made my first stay in Whitby. It felt homely and made me feel very safe, as someone with anxiety problems feeling safe is extremely important, and you guys nailed it. I miss the Endeavour already and will be back! Special praise has to be given to the young man who checked me in. He was lovely, caring, and kind. I hear he's new to the team, and honestly, he is an asset to you and your team. Look after that one! Key points we're how clean the room was,the attention to detail like chocolates and snacks in the room and landing, I also loved how I was left alone and felt that you really trust you're guests; access was brilliant and the staff, just wow! They made it all the more special. It felt like they knew me personally and genuinely cared. You can't fake that! I even tried to book another night upon leaving, but you were booked out, understandable. Thank you again. I wish you all the luck in the world with this venture. It's rare to have such care and attention to the customers' needs in this world these days in a hotel. Thank you again, and I really hope we meet again and I will stay later this year. best wishes. Are you joking? My stay was absolutely faultless! It was perfect!

Really friendly and welcoming, would definitely stay again, right in the centre close to everything. Clean, tidy and anything you needed was placed in the hallways, ie: tea,coffee etc.. biscuits, crisps, toilet rolls, iron and board. In the room you have a hairdryer, kettle and water provided. The open fire in the bar was lovely, they live music and plenty of drinks to choose from, you can also buy your fish a chips and take into the bar to eat, fab idea.

Nothing really, I found pillows a bit hard for me but each to their own on that, you can’t please everyone with something like that.

A proper little gem of a Pub with nice clean rooms and comfortable beds. Had a lovely view over the river. Our room had a tower fan which was much needed in the hot weather. Pub downstairs had good ales and let you bring in your own fish and chips. The room was quiet in the evening and in a brilliant location on the south side of the river but within a few minutes walk of everything. Great fish and chips shop and coffee shop 2 minutes walk. Would stay again. Staff were also lovely and it had oat milk for guests!

Couldn't open all the windows so it was warm. Thank goodness for that fan!

All fine location fine clean room good facilaties

Shame about price pending for initial booking being held back for a week, even though my debit card went straight through when i arrived at the premesis and paid. Really dont see the logic . Just puts you in debt for a second payment for a week untill pending cleared of.

The little touches make a difference strainers for us ladies what a little luxury snacks in the room help yourself to tea coffee milk sugar etc

Wish I'd booked through endeavour direct could of saved myself £50

Amazing staff Beer was well kept Live music both nights we stayed Nice and central location Really comfortable bed As much tea coffee and biscuits you want in the room as you can help yourself Really clean and tidy We loved our stay and there is a loyalty promotion we will definitely be talking advantage of this for our next stay

No kitchen in the pub but can bring local fish and chips in and lots of alternatives for food within 5 minute walk The shower was a little temperamental the temperature wasn't constant during a 5 minute shower

No breakfast available, but only a short walk to the Singing Kettle for an excellent breakfast. Pub is close to the bridge that crosses the sea inlet, diviiding East / West Whitby. An enjoyable and mainly flat walk into the busy heart of Whitby. Comfortable and spacious room.

Slightly noisy evening in the room, (if not in the bar), when an excellent singer was performing. Sadly many people tried shouting to each other over the artist, rather than enjoying the show. But all was quiet by 22:30 when the bar seemed to fizzle out. However, it is a pub, after all, so it comes with a few visitors! There is a choice of drinking venues / restaurants nearby.

Excellent location, very close to the centre of Whitby . The whole team were very friendly and welcoming My room was perfect, beautifully clean and overlooking the harbour. It had everything I needed and they left snacks and water in the room too There was a kettle and a tea and coffee station outside my room There was live entertainment on in the bar below which was great

It was exceptionally hot whilst I was there so a fan in the room and a fridge would have been the icing on the cake
