The crew was the best! A lot of different young people, very kind and always happy to help. Every night there was a different event, I went to open mic night and saw bunch of amazing performers. They also cook lunch every day and you are free to eat. Wifi was perfect, as well as the location of the hostel.

The only bad thing was that none of the rooms have bathrooms, and on the whole floor with 5 rooms there was only one bathroom, with one toilet and a shower. If it was occupied, there was one upstairs, and three showers in another building, which is not very practical.

It was an excellent experience at the Bunk and Brew, stayed for two nights, the rooms with the double beds are very exquisite and the beds are delectably comfortable, the kitchen is very nice and has all the appliances to suit your visit, the patio area is a very nice communal area, they have a sauna and shower facility as well as laundry included, they have food trucks on site, the location is absolutely prime considering your about a 5 minute walk from downtown Bend.

As far as my concern goes nothing

Great location with a short walk to the downtown area and parking on site. Food trucks set up in the back with affordable and easy meal options as well as a beer truck! Tables and couches for lounging.

Only one bathroom upstairs

Great atmosphere, food trucks in the garden, sauna, comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen, wonderful staff, great location… this place is a gem! I only stayed one night but wish I could have spent longer there. They have instruments too, lots of events, and seem to attract a wonderful crowd of both guests and volunteers.

More bathrooms / toilets would be useful. The lockers in the rooms were too small for big backpacks.

Very comfortable bed, clean bathrooms, and robust facilties. Very accommodating place to stay while traveling for work, having most of the amenities of being home, i.e., kitchen, workspace, etc. The staff is very friendly. A very sociable environment all around, with awesome foot trucks and community events onsite. It is a really amazing institution and historical site very close to downtown Bend.

We enjoyed our stay! The kids had fun in the yard and the evenings with live music was real nice. It is a cozy hostel and felt very safe and social. The beertoken is a nice welcoming touch and the breakfast items in the kitchen was generous.

The airquality in the room was bad and the carpet smelled of dust and smoking. It triggered some allergies and headaches with some of us. I understand that it comes with the territory of many guests and an old historic house, so not a dealbreaker!

It was a very welcoming and friendly place. The kitchen is very well equipped and there's a lot of common hangout areas. They had free live music on Friday night which was very fun!

The heating was WAY too hot. Even after asking if it could be turned down, we had to keep the windows open AND the fan on the whole time, which seemed a bit ridiculous.

Lovely people, free breakfast, sauna and bathhouse was clean and nice, lots of cute hang out areas, 5 min walk to downtown Bend.

Kitchen and bathrooms get a bit crowded with staff and guests, but everyone was very nice and respectful!

The food and drink options near the Hostel are amazing. It's also a really short walk from Downtown. The folks staying there were really nice, and there was always something to do.

It's a Hostel, so as always expect to need earplugs, and maybe an eye mask.

Friendly staff and a cool environment. If you're a solo traveler or staying for a while, this hostel seems to have a great community. Amenities like nightly "events" and sauna are nice too.

Check in took a little while, but I assume that's mostly from the staff being new (staff at hostels rotate often)
