Excellent location, walkable to everything in the old town and beyond, including across the river to Prague Castle. If you don't fancy walking, then the hotel is proximate to several tram stops, so getting around is extremely easy. There's excellent food and coffee just a short walk away (including options within a 30 second walk) -- location really couldn't be more convenient. Pre-arrival communication and check-in was extremely easy, and we received great tips on arrival from the very kind Simone, covering restaurants, bars and local attractions. This approach, i.e. a mix of digital and personal interactions, strikes a nice balance between the efficiency of a purely digital self check-in and the warmth of in-person interaction. Room was large, clean and comfortable, with a coffee machine (with pods!) and kettle provided, along with a mini-fridge. Decor was modern and in good condition, beds were comfy, and the room was practically laid out with power sockets near beds. The place is also *outstanding* value. I'd stay again in a heartbeat.

Very little. If nitpicking, room was slightly on the chilly side, albeit this is personal preference and it was never caused an issue with sleeping. There's a vending machine in the corridors, but this only takes coins, so if you're cashless it won't be much use to you. Lastly, a little sound can leak into the corridors -- never an issue sleeping (and I'm a relatively light sleeper), but if you're in the room during the day you might overhear others watching television. To be clear, these are all *extremely* minor critiques!

From point of booking, I received exceptional communication from Simon and Iveta. They are brilliant hosts and could not do enough for us. The rooms are spotlessly clean, roomy, very well equipped, as well as centrally located in the city, within easy walking distance from the new and old town. They are also very close to the train station and tram stops to get you anywhere in the city. I have used many rooms through Booking.Com, but Simon and Iveta are up there with the best for facilities versus value for money. 5star stay!!! Prague at New Year was on our bucket list, and it did not disappoint.

Very clean and well taken care of. The room was very spacious and had furniture to store our things. Helpful staff.

I used the Booking.com chat with the hotel more than once to request a double bed. They just put two single beds by each other and didn't bother to at least keep them bound together with a double bed sheet or something... It was also a bit annoying that the mattresses kept slipping from the box bed. One other thing that bothered me a bit was that one of the staff knocked on my door to have me pay for the city tax and it was really bad timing. But I understand that there was no way she could have known sooo...

Highly recommend staying at Vincanto! Simon and Iveta are wonderful hosts: friendly and helpful; quickly responsive to messages; and accommodating of special circumstances like an early arrival and needing to store our luggage. The family-sized room was perfect for my two adult children and me, and we appreciated the refrigerator and microwave, and hot water kettle. Location in Old Town made it possible both to walk to the hotel from the train station, and to walk to everything we wanted to see. A great value for the money and a lovely stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Good location for seeing the sights & good facilities. The apartment has everything you need for your stay and you are in walking distance of most sights.

We were in the ground-floor apartment which has very large windows, next to the street. Very noisy at night time which affected our sleep every night. People coming and going in the apartment next door constantly banging the door to go n and out and shouting very loudly outside until the early hours and it felt like they were sat against the window chatting. It hasn't spoiled our time in Prague but needs to he mentioned for future occupants.

I couldn't ask for a better host or better location. The apartment was nice and spacious, cleaning offering every day. Nice big bathroom. We have walked everywhere, with all locations being within the walking distance. It's really great location! The only disadvantage was the big windows that didn't stop the noise from the outside. It was so loud we felt we could have a conversation with people passing by up until early morning, hence we didn't have great sleep. I would definitely recommend it and would stay with Simone again, just in different room with windows facing the back of the building.

Toilet paper was too thin... You can imagine why this is an issue. We didn't expect the room to be cleaned during the second day. When we arrived, I couldn't find my pyjamas which I left on the bed. They were put under the pillow by the cleaning staff. I appreciate the cleanliness standards though. If I knew about it beforehand, I might've put my pyjamas elsewhere and they wouldn't get "lost".

Pros: excellent location; easy check-in and check-out; professional staff who ensured perfect communication, full of recommendations and providing flexible solutions to any issue.

Cons: everything was excellent, if I need to find something for the sake of the exercise I will mention two things. The walls are not really well isolated and the first night I could hear my neighbors enjoying their time :D . The rooms on the first floor do not have windows at normal height so I had to turn on the lights even during the day.

I stayed for three nights, from Thursday to Sunday. The location is perfect. I was able to walk to everything or catch local transport should I want it. Restaurants and bakeries are within a block or two. Simone provided excellent service, quickly correcting any minor issues I had. He also provided a wealth of info on recommended places to eat and things to see and do. This is a self catering place so the service desk is only manned from 09:00-17:00, but you can contact them through WhatsApp at any time. You are given a personal keycode that opens the front doors, your room, the laundery room, the luggage storage, the community kitchen and the front bathroom. It is very important to follow directions for each door as a few work slightly different than the others. The room has a very small fridge for cans, small take away containers, etc. There is a community kitchen with a larger fridge and cooking facilities for those wanting a little more. I didn't use it so can't give an opinion on it. The shower is on the smaller size, one of those 1/4 round ones. It worked for me, but I wish it had been a little larger. The luggage storage provided was perfect. I could store my luggage in a private room with a table and chair and I was the only one who had access. I was allowed to use it up until 23:00 which worked beautifully for me to explore the city and catch a late evening Uber to the Airport hotel. Note: I can only comment on the hotel style rooms. Vincanto also offers apartments for those who want a little more space or have more people.

I had "hotel" room 109 and the window faced a dead end street that was used for parking, so it was on the louder side until 21:00-23:00 or so. The halls echo, so when people came in it was fairly loud unless they whispered. There are signs posted everywhere for "Silence please" but I think that is rarely looked at. Please take into account that I was gone all day and came back to relax around 19:00, which is probably not common for most on the weekend. If you came back later, the noise most likely would not be an issue.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at Vincanto Rooms Old Town! Simon was an amazing host – incredibly hospitable, helpful, and friendly. Although I didn’t have the chance to meet Iveta, I’m sure she’s just as warm, welcoming, and kind as Simon. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel both welcome and comfortable. The rooms were spotlessly clean, featuring a simple yet minimalist design, and equipped with all the amenities I could possibly need. Since I visited during a colder season, I initially had concerns about whether the room would be warm enough. However, I didn’t face any issues during my stay, and the staff’s thoughtfulness in checking if I was comfortable every time they saw me was a lovely touch. The attention to detail throughout the property was truly impressive. The atmosphere was both peaceful and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind after busy days exploring Prague. The level of service was exceptional from start to finish, and I can’t praise it enough. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in Prague. I hope I’ll have the chance to stay here again soon!
