The Carrington Inn is an old historic building and the bathrooms in the units have been renovated. There was digital door card access, which was good security and the complex was well lit at night time with parking close by to the units. There is an onsite restaurant and bar called Flock- open for dinner from Wednesday to Sunday- I wasn't able to check it out as I stayed on a Monday night. There is also an adjacent outdoor cafe with a courtyard, which does lunch and dinner but not on Mondays! The main street is only a block's walk from the Carrington Inn- the Lake George Hotel is the only option for dinner on Monday nights. There is a fantastic woodwork gallery across the road from the garden cafe

the garden cafe was meant to be open for breakfast but it seemed closed. there are limited options for eating out on a Monday night. Next time I would visit between Wednesday and Sunday to check on the onsite Flock restaurant and bar. there would be more atmosphere in town and options for meals when other venues are open for dinner in the main street

Beautiful venue, rose bushes and garden terraces everywhere, created a lovely atmosphere.it would be a wonderful function venue with the local pub attached as well. The staff were friendly and accommodating (special shout out to Kim). The rooms were clean and functional, with a sizable bathroom, kitchenette and smart TV.

N/A there was nothing I didn’t like. It is about a 30 minute drive from Canberra, so keep that in mind if you were wanting to be close to the city.

I loved the decor, and the look of Carrignton. The BIG bed was geat. I also loved the toaster, it meant I didn't have to go out in the early morning cold for breakfast. Nice to have the micro oven too. Only used it once but what a great asset!!! Very happy.

The weather!!

Didn't see the staff due to late arrival, but clear instruction provided regarding the key lock box. Great room, very clean and easy walk to centre of town. Would be happy to stay at the Carrington again and recommend to anyone looking for accommodation.

Would be good if undercover parking was available, due to the heat during our stay.

I had to make some changes to my booking. The process was easily done and communication was very good.

Bungendore water is extremely hard and tastes terrible. An extra bottle of water to make tea and a body lotion would be very much appreciated.

The Carrington was well placed in the centre of town, with good-sized rooms and amenities. Kim was very friendly and helpful. Canberra and Braidwood are close by for day trips, and there are many places to visit around the area, including wineries and truffle farms.

Almost everything shuts down at the beginning of the week (Monday to Wednesday), so there are only a couple of options for dinner, and breakfast was not included in the price - fortunately there are a couple of good cafes close by!

Our stay at The Carrington Hotel was clean & comfortable & met my expectations. It is in a good, quiet location in town with some local shops & cafe's within walking distance. The room was quite spacious with a comfortable bed. Our room had all the basic kitchen utensils, tea, coffee & toaster. Kim at reception was very friendly & welcoming. Overall, it is a lovely place & I would stay there again.

Large room, comfortable bed, excellent lighting, amazing shower. TV was a good size, easy to watch from the bed. Kitchen facilities included a sink, fridge, microwave, all in brand new condition. Heating had been turned on in the room before we arrived and it was good to walk into a warm room.

The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and chatty, which made the stay at the Carrington Inn very relaxing.

No comment here as there wasn't anything we didn't like.

A charming place in a great location. A good sized room and super modern bathroom. The staff were just lovely.

Room not cleaned daily. Maybe on a Sunday they could not get staff...? For the price though, you may expect fresh towels daily and some amenities like fitness centre or maybe breakfast.
