The room seemed very new and clean and was also very spacious. It had a small refrigerator and a small ironing board and iron but no microwave or coffee maker. There was free coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the lobby. The breakfast was good and there were a lot of choices. There was no swimming pool but there was a pool table in the lobby. The staff was friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out were easy. The hotel was a very short drive off of the interstate. It was about a five minute drive to a very nice shopping area and many restaurants. There weren't any restaurants or stores within walking distance.

We could hear the people on the floor above us walking around and they were pushing something with wheels, maybe the desk chair, back and forth. We did not complain about it. The hand soap dispenser in the bathroom was very hard to squeeze with one hand to dispense the soap into the other hand. It was difficult for someone with arthritis or for children to use. The staff said they had little soap containers at the desk we could have requested, and they are considering replacing the dispensers with a different type. The electric window shade did not close completely. It left about a foot of the window uncovered from the HVAC unit up. We did not complain but let the staff know when we checked out. We had to request a shower curtain. It was promptly installed by the staff.

Upon arrival Jessica greeted me with a warm welcome and a big friendly smile. The evening staff Jacqueline was amazing also. (Made us feel very comfortable and reminded us not to forget to come down to breakfast.) Over all I was vey pleased as this was my 1st stay at a Tru.

I would have preferred cooked oatmeal instead of instant. Also not a big fan of dogs in hotels as I suffer from allergies to animals.

Location was great! Friendly staff! I love that there were games and a pool table to hang out with friends or family.

My room had some damage to the coat racks on the wall, and a table. I doubt all rooms are like this i just happened to have the room that did. Breakfast didn't have a ton of options available. It had pancakes, eggs, sausage links, bagels/bread, juice, cereal, and oatmeal packets. It was a doable breakfast I just wished there were more options.

The hotel was well put together, modern, and comfortable. 24 hour concessions rather than a vending machine. Better than average continental breakfast. Very good value for the money, and near a lot of places in the Waukesha/Brookfield area.

Room was a bit on the small size, at least if you are bunking with more than one person. It's probably fine for solo stays. The drive into the specific area of the hotel is a little inconvenient as well despite an overall decent location, particularly if there's any construction going on in the general area.

Clean, comfortable, price

It would be nice to have a microwave and coffee maker in the room. But I was aware of that fact beforehand so not a surprise. If I were staying longer than just one night only to sleep, that would be a factor in choosing Tru.

Breakfast was great. Nice decor. Easy to find.

Was a little pricey for such a small room, but I know the Wis State Fair was happening, as well as home Brewer games, so I guess that was to be expected. My main dislike was the air cond. fan was LOUD!

Staff was great, the hotel was very clean, chill, not noisy, no smoke smell, good breakfast, room was awesome, very modern touches. Fridge in room.

I didn't like that rooms didn't have microwaves but there is a common microwave on the main floor. Many hotels dont even have that nowadays so I'll take it.

1. incidentals deposit is only $10! 2. there were plenty of snack options available for purchase anytime 3. the breakfast was hot, fresh and decent tasting. I loved the no mess automatic pancake machine. never seen such a machine! 4. modern decor made the atmosphere clean and fresh feeling 5. the complimentary toiletries smelled absolutely delicious! especially the lemon scented lotion! 6. price was very affordable for the design and area 7. coffee and hot water was set out for guests at 10pm

1. non rewards member parking was limited in spaces to choose from, but honestly that only mattered bc of freezing weather temps walking from car to room 2. the toiletries weren’t personal sized or take homes and I really wanted to take the good smelling lotion! 3. the pool table area wasn’t private so it was a little awkward when we walked in… because there was a group of about 8 teens/college aged kids hanging out in the area. it felt like we crashed their party walking through to their room. It would nice to have a wall built to close off the space, and make the area exclusive and time limited so other guests can enjoy and hang out too. 4. no pool, but we knew that upon reserving

The room was very clean. Loved the shower. The lobby was clean and had plenty of various places to sit. Liked having shampoo, etc. in large bottles rather than travel sizes.

Not having drawers in the room for clothes. The coffee wasn't very strong. The beds could've been a tad bit softer.

Staff is very responsive, room was clean, sorry distance to many things

Had a king room but for the price the room was very small, kids making allot of noise at night.
