Very good location, close to restaurants, shops and the main street (Hauptstrasse) that leads to the castle. The apartment is easily accessible, 20 minutes on foot from the train station. The apartment is equipped with everything and is located in a quiet place. Well-functioning wi-fi, easy check-in. The mattress was a little too soft for me, but the size is perfect. The whole apartment could be heated well with the heating. I was satisfied, I recommend this accommodation to everyone.

I felt a little uncomfortable that in the bathroom you can see through the window from the other house when people taking a bath or sitting on the toilet.

In order to get the key code there was an online check in to complete. No big deal, just watch your messages. I couldn't get the link so I had to have them email me directly. That worked. Host was responsive in a timely manner. There was an option to reserve a parking spot for 20 Euros, we did not ask in time. We parked at the Atos Clinic which was the building next door. It was 25 Euros for overnight. My husband and I had our own room with a queen sized bed with a nice wardrobe for our clothes. Our son slept on the pull-out sofa bed in the living room. Everything was spacious and clean.

We parked nearby at the Atos Clinic. We spent about 20 minutes looking for the place to pay for parking before we could leave. It was cash only in the lobby of the building next door.

Lovely historic property just steps from the Hauptstrasse in Heidelberg. Unit was spacious with a nicely equipped kitchen, including an oven, cooktop, microwave and dishwasher. Complimentary laundry was available in the basement of the building. There is no elevator (clearly communicated by the host), so if you are on the 3rd floor, which we were, there are almost 60 steps to climb. Parking was very convenient, and although it is an extra charge, we would recommend reserving a parking spot. Communication with the host was excellent and instructions to access the property were very clear.

As other reviewers have noted, there was no window covering in the bathroom.

The apartment is in a fabulous location. A short walk to the old town and just a little longer to the funicular up to the castle. Really helpful owners had left fans running as the town was experiencing a heatwave. Well equipped kitchen. Fabulous stay for a couple of nights. Wished we had stayed longer

There was nothing to fault it. It was extremely hot at the time so the fridge struggled to keep things cool and there was no air conditioning but it is a very old property and we managed with fans.

The property is very nicely located and it is well-preserved. The apartment does not have an airconditioning system but they offered multiple ventilators, which did the trick.

The only gripe we had was that parking spots are fewer than available apartments and seemingly you must reserve in advance. We did not know this and once we arrived we realised that street parking in the surrounding areas was only for residents and the garages were a long distance away if you want to bring heavy luggages. Thankfully, the landlord reserved a spot for us because something opened up last minute but this is not guaranteed. So make sure you reserve a parking spot in advance if you are booking here and traveling with a car.

This is by far the best place we stayed during our Rhine River road trip. We booked it based on many raving reviews, but we were still overjoyed as soon as we walked in: the unusual high ceiling, the spacious bedroom, living room and bathroom, and the well equipped kitchen there is a washer and dryer in the basement). And the location is very convenient. Above all, it was very reasonably priced compared with other places with similar qualities. We also enjoyed the interesting history of the building (the guest guide book is thoughtful and informative).

The apartment was spacious, comfortable and very clean. It was about 15 minute walk from the railway station and then another 15 minutes or so to the centre of town which made it a good place to have as a base. It was very modern inside but also had a 'quaint' feel which made it seem quite unique. It was quiet even though it was reasonably close to a shopping area. The beds were comfy and the shower easy to use.

Getting into the flat was a little tricky as we didn't get the access code until just before we arrived. This wasn't ideal on a hot day after a long journey but we were able to contact the owner and resolve the issue quickly.

large comfortable apartment. near to tram and easy walk to old town

No air conditioning on a very hot week in Heidelberg. Fans were provided which did help. As we were on the ground floor when windows were open the students chattering late at night was a little disturbing.

We have been traveling around Europe for almost a month and this place was our favorite place to stay. It was very clean and had a “homey” feeling. The bed was comfortable and even the pull out bed was comfortable. The lady that manages the apartment is really well organized. She had good communication. She also made a little booklet that gives you info on the rules/ regulations but also the history of the building and recommendations on where to eat. In the apartment you could find all the basics in the kitchen plus sugar and salt and little k-cups for coffee. It was a very pleasant stay. I would recommend this place. It’s also walking distance to public transportation and maybe approximately 15-20 min walking distance to the the old part of town.

This is an honest review but I couldn’t think of anything.

Comfortable apartment with everything you need and modern renovation

The landlady forbade using of her private parking, I had to park the car in the city parking, which cost an additional 100 euros for two days of my staying. At the same time, the forbidden parking space was free for all two days
