The location was excellent. The breakfast options were great. As a vegetarian there is variety and the staff help to make whatever you ask for. The rooms are spacious, and the bathroom was huge, modern and lovely.Staff were helpful and available

No live TV. Also my Netflix in the room did not work the first night due to network connectivity. But the staff helped me the next day and it worked well. My room did not have a fridge, but the staff brought me one, though it was not cold enough. It just kept things cool, but it served its purpose.

Actually, we both contracted upset digestion, me twice, after breakfast. It made us wonder about kitchen conditions and practices.

There seems to be nothing that can be done about 'drawing room' comforts. The weather was atrocious, preventing outdoor activity, so guests hung around reading or playing cards. There are only two armchairs, both very dilapidated. Bedrooms only have one metal chair for sitting in front of a vanity mirror. The roof lounge is fun on a sunny day.

The hotel was great ... staff were un-intrusive but there when you needed them and really responsive to any requests we had. Travelling with a 1 1/2 year old can be taxing at times but this hotel made it easy. Room was super clean and facilities great. The position of the hotel is the best you could get in Cape Town. ... 10 to 30 minutes form almost all main attractions and walkable distance to some lovely small places to eat and a shopping centre. I used to live in Cape Town and I would highly recommend this hotel to any one coming to see the city.

There was not much to dislike ... only thing I can think of is the automatic gate was not working with the fob so was manual ... but this did not in anyway affect our stay or make is un-enjoyable.

Exceptional stay in every aspect. Excellent location with stunning backdrop of Table Mountain and Lions Head. Room was very comfortable and the staff were extremely welcoming and polite throughout our 4 night stay. Honesty bar a great idea and rooftop terrace a lovely place to enjoy the sun. Breakfast freshly cooked to order each morning. Would certainly recommend and hope to revisit on future visits to Cape Town.

The staff were absolutely amazing, and the facilities were stunning. We took a walk down to one of the restaurants and felt safe doing so. We felt safe there and I was happy to leave my car in the parking.

I could not get the DSTV to work as I didn't know what to press. I could have asked and I am sure that the staff would have assisted but I felt it was a bit late in the evening to bother them with this.

Fireplace; friendly helpful staff, secure parking, nice breakfast.

Some upgrading needed- toilet leaked, TV remote didn’t work. Important to add that everything was taken care of as soon as we mentioned it to staff. Extremely accommodating.

Perfect small, friendly, value-for-money hotel with fantastic service within an easy car/taxi journey to the centre of Cape Town. We loved our stay here and particularly enjoyed the breakfasts!

Can't think of anything we didn't like other than the weather! But that's hardly the hotel's fault - we'll be sure to come back in the summer next time!

Great location with good balance as it’s close to main places to visit but also far enough away that it feels remote and peaceful. All staff were lovely and friendly. Also the hotel only has 15 rooms which is nice and means it never feels too busy

I enjoyed the genuinely caring attitude of the staff; they were always personable, professional, and courteous at all times. The breakfast was well-proportioned and tasty! I loved my large room, especially the bed!

Because of the sun and heat, I didn't really get a chance to enjoy the outside amenities at the hotel. This was, in no way, a fault of the hotel. I simply can't evaluate their outdoor facilities (rooftop and pool).

Room was fairly spacious, bed was comfy and a lovely warm blanket was supplied.

Nothing other than the staff could be a bit more visible. I looked for them twice and couldnt find anyone. The outside light at reception could also be replaced as it was flashing on/off
