It was a self catering hotel/apartments But so convenient to local Cafe restaurants and superb supermarkets. Great to have secure lock up underground car park. Easy walk to the ocean and central hub of Hermanus. Was fab that hosts/reception sent video footage of exactly how to access the building a d car park. Made getting in late stress free.

My hubby wasn't a fan of the open entry to the loo bathroom. The bathroom is so spacious a frosted floor to ceiling door could easily be installed for privacy as its onto the main bedroom.

Beautiful two-story room, very spacious and with all the amenities. There were five of us and we were not cramped. On arrival we were met and shown everything. All the staff was friendly and responsive every day: at the end of our stay our cab was unexpectedly canceled and we were helped to call a cab through the hotel, although this was clearly not the responsibility of the receptionist. Thank you to her for this. Very pleased with the location of the room: near two supermarkets, a lot of cafes and literally 2 minutes walk - a beautiful promenade. Convenient. We will definitely come back to Hermanus and stay next time not 4 but 5-7 days. I recommend it to everyone: especially since the hotel helped us with a whale watching tour and we saw them literally at arm's length! It was an endless delight for our 3 kids. Moreover, the next day the whales were literally swimming near the waterfront all day long and we could admire them to the fullest. I recommend to all families this room: quiet, spacious, with friendly staff and everything you need to stay even for 1-2 days, or for a week or more.

We were 2 couples, staying in a 3 bedroomed apartment for 2 nights. We should have booked it for longer. The apartment more than met our expectations, comfy beds, well appointed right throughout the property, great bathrooms and showers, outdoor sitting areas on both floors. Great parking, either outside the building or in the underground parking lot. Communication with our hosts was great, as we were checking in late afternoon on a Saturday, so Whatsapp was great for agreeing on the lockbox access, and they did us a video which made everything so easy to understand. Eloize and Gina are the best of the best.

Fantastic location and comfortable apartment with nearly everything we needed. Any requests (like a fan, and extra cleaning) were met promptly and without any problem.

Slightly awkward arrival procedure for checking in on a weekend. Dirty floor behind bathroom door (but cleaned up very quickly when reported). No air-conditioning in second bedroom. Uncomfortable outdoor furniture on balcony.

The sex-neutral design of the space - it was perfect for male and female guests (I only mention this as the decor at our next accommodation on our road trip was so feminine in colours, fabrics and finishes). Also, we forgot to bring our mobile Nespresso machine on the trip - being of Italian heritage, coffee is super-important (with Nespresso dark-roast espresso as our basic back-up). While we were out shopping, Eloize had arranged a new Nespresso machine for us - completely unexpected and greatly appreciated by my 81-year-old mom (and that service-level surprise really impressed our Amercian guest!)

I always bring my own shower gels, but I really do not enjoy Charlotte Rhys products. The scent is too overpowering, and too 'signature' (I know this is subjective - but it's really not a great scent as one smells more 'perfumed' than 'clean'). Africology has a much more 'clean' smell - more spa-like and more suited to a beach or seaside environment. Of course, out of 5 places we stayed at during our road-trip, 4 had Charlotte Rhys products (only one, in Nieu Bethesda, had Africology, which I sometimes use at home - in addition to Molton Brown and Dr Bronner products).

It was such a lovely stay and located centrally, so easy to walk to everywhere we wanted and very close to all shops Our stay was in winter and it was great to have aircons in the room that kept the whole apartment warm

It would have been nice to have people help with daily cleaning and refreshing of the rooms. The cost of R450 per day is alot to pay for long stays

Perfect location. In the heart of Hermanus walking distance to restaurants, shops and sea views. Perfect self-catering apartment with all the necessary amenities you need. Our third stay at the apartment and we will definitely be back next year!

The property was finished to a high standard, was very comfortable and clean. Good central location and the secure parking was an unexpected bonus. There were lots of extras which made the apartment more like home than a rental property. Very nice. 👍

The only suggestion would be to put an outer door on the downstairs bedroom as the bathroom is not ensuite. Guests in the ground floor bedroom are exposed if they want to use their bathroom facilities as it is right next to the kitchen. An outer door would solve that problem. Difficult for people with mobility problems as there are a number of stairs and the lift was out of order.

It's a great apartment with all the amenities you need and clean. Convenient and close to all attractions. Situated in Hermanus old town, an old-time coastal seaside village feel, with great views of the mountains, just what we needed to escape city life. The staff was super helpful and friendly and even assisted with the booking to arrange a shark cage dive experience for our family. We will be returning soon!!

Everything ,staff was amazing and very accommodating,there was a big storm which left Hermanus without power for a few days, luckily Marine Square had back up power and management did everything and anything to keep us happy, they even gave us wine 🍷 All I can say is thank you guys you are amazing!!!!Accomdation is 5 star plus👌🏻
