The breakfasts were always excellent and the staff working at the breakfasts were very good at keeping the serving dishes full and that the tables were quickly cleared and cleaned when diners left. The front desk staff was always exceedingly helpful and friendly to deal with and offered help on things to see and do and places to eat. Our room was kept very clean and neat by the housekeeping staff. The location is great and very quiet, away from the bustle of La Rambla. Security was excellent.

It would have been nice to have two chairs to sit in to watch TV, but there may not be enough room to do this.

The location was super really close to the main street and close to the subway to get to any location. Loved the breakfast and the sunrise view over Barcelona over the rooftop pool. The bathroom design was cool creating a lot of space to dress up while someone else showers. Really cool experience of my first time in Barcelona.

There was no kettle or tea/coffee making facilities in the room which I am not accustomed to. However, upon request they provided a kettle along with teas. So I was very happy. The room wasnt super large, but it was comfortable. Parking was expensive, but very secure.

The staff were excellent, the facilities for self-service with your luggage if you were checking in or out were fantastic, and the location is close to Montjuic and the beach. I pretty much walked everywhere. I would stay here again and recommend to others.

The pool / deck area was very small. I expected it to be a lot larger. The area outside the hotel is culturally different from other areas in Barcelona and there were transients / prostitutes in the park next door. However, there is key card access to the lobby and there is a good police presence so you don't really feel unsafe - just keep your wits about you.

The employees were extremely helpful providing local information and assisting with any other little issues that we encountered, i.e. assisted with connecting to local restaurants, printing boarding passes, and answering any other questions we had. Very friendly. Our room was very nice, clean, roomy and comfortable. The location was excellent, just a short walk for access to transportation, coffee shops, squares and restaurants.

Would like to have been able to have coffee and a Danish, croissant or something light for breakfast rather than having no option other than to purchase a buffet. Glad to have been able to go a short distance to a nice coffee shop, but the availability to have something light for breakfast would have been nice.

Excellent reception staff. Good location. Availability of taxis. Good pool area with bar.

No tea or coffee making facility. Dark corridors. Sparsely furnished. No drawers or cupboards.

Great views , great pool , pricy ++ though Despite the arrival debacle and other issues ,i would stay here again

What was really annoying is, i arrive early , dropped my bag and ask the front staff , if one of my class of rooms is cleaned and ready early , can they call me? BUT they continue to insist there is no early check in in their rooms , even if there was vacant rooms , Check in 15hoo and NO earlier , I can "upgrade" and then check in early (essentially a early check in fee (I arrived around lunch time ) I found that strange seeing my travel companions at the nearby hotels all checked in early The second issue with they there was flooding on my floor and the wet moulded carpet , stank ++ , i basically had a hold my breath till the elevator Lastly , there is only emergency lighting the the corridors , it is so dark +++

The hotel is in a great location. It is so easy to get anywhere you want to go. Only a short walk to the Drassanes metro station, La Rambla is less than 5 minutes walk away, the Columbus Monument where you can get tickets and catch the Barcelona Bus Turístic hop-on-hop-off bus is about a 5 minute walk. The only issue was that there seemed to be a homeless services building on the block. I walked past it numerous times and did not have any problems. The rooms are not luxurious. They are functional and very comfortable. The beds were so comfortable (This coming from someone who usually has hip pain when sleeping). The single room had a full sized bed. My room also had a private outdoor area with loungers (don't know if this is true of all the singles). The only down side was the apartments overlooking it. I was able to put my laundry out to dry :). Without a doubt, definitely add the breakfast to your reservation. It is an all you can eat buffet well worth the money and better than anything else I saw in Barcelona. I am vegetarian, and found the choices to be good. After having breakfast, I did not have to eat again until around 5 pm. The cappuccino, latte, coffee machine was great. They also have a good selection of teas. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I would stay at this hotel in the future and will recommend it to friends and family. Reasonably priced, comfortable, with a good location. What else could you ask for?

The view from the rooftop area with the pool is amazing!

The room was very large and comfortable. Lots of space to unpack. A good desk. The bath was extraordinarily large for a hotel and everything worked intuitively (for an American). The view (6th floor) over the city was very nice. The location near several metro stations helped me get around the city quickly and easily while staying on a quiet street. The hotel overall was very quiet and it was unusual to hear other guests. The breakfast area was spacious.

The elevator was tricky to use. Many other guests seemed to struggle, so it wasn't just me. The vending choices could have been better (but there's a shop down the street).

I had room 401, which was beside the lifts, but I didn't hear them once. The room was very quiet. I also didn't hear the people above me. The neighbourhood is generally quiet and I was able to leave my window open without being disturbed. The breakfast selection is amazing, although also a bit unusual (but in a good way!). I would never have considered albóndigas (meatballs) a breakfast dish, but they were absolutely delicious and I had them both mornings I stayed. There was a wide selection to choose from. I was extremely satisfied. The hotel is about 5 minutes from La Rambla and I felt safe walking around, even at night. Within the same building but about 20 metres further up the road, there is a Carrefour Express supermarket, which will have most of what you need if you find you've run out of something. Within the hotel there are some vending machines selling water and some soft drinks. I don't remember the prices, but they seemed reasonable. It took about 30 or 35 minutes to get to the hotel from the airport, but most of that was traffic leaving the airport. Once we got into the city, it was much quicker. It took less than 10 minutes to get to the cruise terminal by taxi. I'd recommend taking a taxi rather than walking (although it is possible). You have to cross a steep bridge, and when you get to the other side, you have to go down and then double back part of the way. The taxi cost me less than €15 (which included the €4.50 surcharge for entering the port). If I ever return to Barcelona, I will definitely stay here again. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The room was spotless. I had a good sleep. And the breakfast was amazing. I can't ask for anything else.

We loved the amazing views from the rooftop- you can see all across Barcelona including the port. The staff are very friendly and the bed was so so comfortable. We also really enjoyed the breakfast, the chef is excellent and his eggs are delicious! The hotel is close to metro stations and you can walk to the marine area.

We thought the room was a little dark as it had slats across the windows- not sure if this is a safety feature and the pool is a little small but nice to have a pool in a big city!
