Location is great, 5 min to main shopping street, 15 min to old city and Guggenheim museum. Room was very big and exceptional for traveling with kids. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. In house parking is handy.

There is no enough day light - the window is very small especially for the very big room.

pretty much everything. the room was both stylish and clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the linens were as luxurious as they appeared in the pictures. the breakfast was far beyond "continental" and included local basque specialities as well as other choices such as granola, yogurt, fruit, and much more. five stars for all that! the service was excellent and honestly, it felt like actual hospitality. and unlike the trend these days in hotels, they made up the room everyday without having to ask for it. water pressure and temperature was perfect, the rooms were quiet. and having a bidet is a great and civilized touch.

honestly, nothing really comes to mind on that front.

The room was large and comfortable. And the location was excellent. The staff were magnificent. A special mention to Hernan, we was absolutely great.

The bathroom size was very tight. It had a bidet and toilet, but you could not use the bidet because of the small space. They advertise having AC, but that is only if the hotel has it on. When we visited, they had the heater in use, and even turning off in our room, it was warm some nights. We could not open the windows because the noise outside would not allow us to sleep. As an accommodation, they provided a fan. Nice touch, but not enough.

Loved the room but a little noisy at night in the street below. However would definitely stay here again with a more internal room. Good location with walking distance to the Guggenheim museum and other attractions a few more minutes away. The staff went out of their way to help even jumping in my car to show me where the car park entrance was. Had a slight difficulty locating the entrance having to drive 2 roads round the building to reach the rear of the property. Great garage, good available parking even for a large car. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. Thank you again to the staff.

Great location close to the river and a quick walk to the old town and the Guggenheim. Hotel is in a quiet location and the staff were really helpful.

It’s not clear from the description that the spa facilities are completely separate from the hotel so these have to be booked. The rooms and especially the bathroom are small - probably prefer to have more room to sit on the toilet than have a bidet (and I am pretty slim!). Also the pillows could do with replacing - very lumpy and flat.

The room and bathroom were well equipped and a good size; the bathroom toiletries were very good quality and plentiful The staff were friendly and efficient The bar area is nice, with good bar snacks/light meals and lovely staff There is bookable, undercover parking (€20/night), though the spaces are quite tight We only stayed one night en route to the ferry port, but would definitely go back, as the central location is good for sightseeing

Better task lighting over the desk would be nice

Outstanding hot breakfast. Location was very good. For walkers, virtually any part of the new or old town can be reached within 25 minutes if a direct route is taken. The river is only a block or two away, and walking places via the river route might add another ten minutes or so to the trip. Abundant restaurants and bars are about 2 blocks south of the hotel. The hotel was very clean, unusually quiet, and had an excellent shower.

The hotel's restaurant was quite good but not excellent. It served its purpose. The food quality was better for lunch than for late dinner.

Good size room (Superior). The breakfast service was very good, always something nice and hot cooked to order. Location really central for Old Town, Guggenheim and shopping. Car Parking very good, spacious.

Two rowdy bars across the street from our room. However they were completely silenced by the hotel's outstanding glazed facade. Underground parking spiral was a bit daunting to start but was actually fine. The exit through the Spa came out onto a street which was a bit seedy, but turned out to be not threatening at all.

All the hotel staff are so friendly and helpful and made the stay so nice. The housekeeping staff cleaned the room to a very high standard every day. The location of the hotel is very good. Very good value stay for the quality of hotel. I had a massage in the spa and it was excellent. The bar had a nice atmosphere. Good breakfast. Highly recommended for a stay in Bilbao.

Very high standard of hotel room in a great location close to the river and within easy walking distance of the Guggenheim and old town . Catering was superb . Fabulous breakfast with very impressive choice , lots of fresh fruit and accommodating all dietary needs including decaf tea . Bar and restaurant food were also excellent . Staff were lovely.

The room was very very hot and it was difficult to sleep well ; I would suggest turning the heating down . Air conditioning wasn’t effective at this time of year . A couple of drawers in the room for storage would be useful .
