The location was perfect. The hotel is surrounded by shops, cafes, bakeries, bars, and restaurants. We picked this hotel for the location and reasonably priced safe basement parking, A hotel elevator brings you directly to the reception or to your floor. It was a bit warm in the room, but we couldn't get the air-conditioning any cooler as it was set to a certain temperature. We did have the window open, especially during the night, but had mosquitoes come in the room, resulting in a few bites. There were tea, coffee and sugar sachets provided only for two days of our six night stay. There isn't a kettle in the room, but each floor has a refill hot and cold water machine near the elevator. We did bring our own travel kettle, tea, coffee and cups. Friendly staff.

The breakfast was a bit boring with the same things on offer. After a couple of breakfasts, we ended up across the street at the bakery for some freshly baked croissants and very good coffee. The mosquitos were annoying when the window in the room was open to let in some fresh air.

Great central location. Big underground carpark with large spaces. The room was very big, overall I thought the facilities were brilliant. Amazing buffet breakfast with everything you could want. This was my first time staying at an ibis as I usually stay in more traditional places. However, after travelling around Spain for 3 months, i decided to pay the extra for the comfort and location. I was very impressed and will book with them again. I also had two small dogs with me. They are very dog friendly, there were lots of people with dogs but the place was spotless and very quiet.

Clean, modern facility with very friendly and helpful staff. Location is perfect for walking around in the city and accessing the Bilbao-Abando train station and the Intermodal bus terminal. Neighborhood is safe and there are many restaurants and cafes nearby. Very good value for money during peak tourist season.

Room overlooked a noisy street which made it a bit difficult to sleep but not terrible. Would have liked a better electrical outlet solution than the extension cord - e.g., USB outlets next to the bed. But we came prepared and were able to make the existing situation work for us.

Location was great. Just outside the low emission zone and easy walking to old town and museum. Food options close. Most important for us was secure onsite parking at a reasonable cost. Very clean and eco conscious

Hard bed. Slept OK. Towels. I like they want you to re-use but somewhere to hang them would be good. We used the shower screen door. Seating… hard bench seat that doubles as a suitcase rack and one chair. )Haven’t figured out the double room for two people and only one chair thing yet - not just this hotel 🤔)

Ibis Bilbao Centro is a nicely decorated hotel in the city center, just 1 km from the Guggenheim Museum—an excellent location. The hotel has its own parking garage, which costs €10 per night, but we arrived very late, so they didn’t charge us for parking. The bed was comfortable, and breakfast was good. We were allowed to leave our car in the garage for the entire next day, which was very convenient for us. Overall, this might be one of the most affordable yet good-quality hotels in the city center.

The reception didn’t respond to our inquiries sent just before arrival, but they apologized, so we forgave them.

Walking distance to Goggenheim museum, center of shopping and old town. Quiet room including all we need. We don´t appreciate luxury, but cleanlines and functionality. Perfect breakfast. Helpful personal. Could borrow an umbrella a rainy day.

A shelf or small table in the toilet to put your toilet bag on would make life easier. In the cafe there are too small areas to put tour tray when picking up the food for breakfast. This is the same problem in most hotels. I hope to some day find one who has understood the problem.

Very professional and multi lingual staff. Especially Jorge and Elu. They provided solutions to a challenge at check in and showed great patience. The room itself was very dark and quiet at night. We slept very well both nights. The soundproofing with the room above was not good but by the time we went to sleep they also went to sleep. The location is a short walk into the busier old town. The main bed was very comfortable. The air conditioning could be improved. Would prefer the temperature to go lower. If coming to Bilbao would stay here again.

It was written in the advertisement which one could access via qr code exhibited all over the place that various selection of food can be ordered 24/7. In fact, when I asked one evening could I order something, at the reception desk they told me that there is only frozen pizza. When I asked about the advertisement, they said "oh, that was some years ago". But advertisement is still there, alive and kicking....

The room was lovely and spacious and very well equipped. Breakfast (buffet) was SUPERB. There was so much choice. The staff were so attentive, refreshing the food offered, keeping a plentiful supply of food and drink, and clearing away. We cannot believe this was a 1 star hotel, it was far superior to that. The staff were always cheerful and helpful. We liked the option of refillable water bottles in the room, and the option to not have room cleaned daily. Very good for the environment

There was nothing we did not like. It was excellent.

Nice room with comfy bed. Although it was October, we needed the air-conditioning on ! Great shower and good range of choice for breakfasts. Location was about 10 minutes walk to the river or to main museums, so convenient. Lots of eateries nearby. Hotel staff lovely and happy to speak English for us..

Could've done with one or two more sockets at which to charge mobile phones, Kindles etc...There were two, but we have several gadgets each !
