Such a special place! The vibe is cool while not being pretentious or uptight, which is so refreshing and heartwarming. The staff is exceptional, from the reception to the bar and the restaurant staff, which I really rate (had dinner there both nights I stayed and I loved it!) Of course as an hotel guest you are automatically on the guest list for Freddie, which is hands down the place to be in Ibiza if you want a more personal experience out of clubbing and you’re happy to have a chat with interesting and friendly people between one sweaty dancing session and the other. Breakfast is good, you can have a tasty lunch by the pool and I really liked that I was still able to chill by the pool after checking out. Also amazing idea to provide every room with a refillable glass bottle and provide unlimited water (you will need it after the night’s debauchery!) By the second morning the staff was calling me by my name and I really felt a bit homesick when it was time to say goodbye! I’ll definitely be back soon!

I loved everything about it as it was exactly what I expected. If you are looking for a pristine and luxurious Instagram perfect location, I bet you will find faults.

Iconic hotel, we've been to eat and dance here several times before but this was our first stay. Our room was right near Freddie's which suited us perfectly as we were there for events, but if you don't quite know what Pikes is about this might be a bit of a shock. Our two nights in Freddie's were superb, the pool area was remarkably quiet for August during the day, the room weas really comfortable and most importantly for the time of the year the AC was fierce, the staff were marvellous as always, and we had a brilliant stay here. And the age limit gives it a much more comfortable, friendly vibe for people over 30 than a lot of the other hotels in Ibiza. We will be back.

Bathroom didn't have a proper door on it - not an issue for us but it would be for some... The restaurant has been moved from the terrace where it's been for years to the side garden which was a disappointment, not sure if this is permanent or a temporary change but if you're expecting Pikes as it used to be then this might be unwelcome.

I booked in advance room 16 but when we turned up the room had already been taken. I had confirmation that we had booked the room. Staff had made a mistake A lady at reception tried to resolve the situation but we had met the guests from room 16 who kindly let us view the room The man on reception whose error it was ...did not take any responsibility That is poor and disappointing

Great character, good vibes, friendly staff

We loved the feeling of being at a house party. The DJ sets poolside through the day and into the night were fab and set the relaxed fun vibe.

We loved it all but don’t expect modern hotel rooms. Our room was very 70s in a cool but unrefurbished way.

Probably the 4 best days of my life. A wonderful and utterly unique place. The service was impeccable - staff were extremely friendly and fun, like being with your friends, but also professional and helpful. The facilities and gardens were fantastic. The vibe and laid-back atmosphere was just perfect. I could not recommend it highly enough and cannot wait to go back.

Party palace did not disappoint and we had a ball. Included a flamenco performance with a trip-hop twist. Excellent cocktails but felt the wait staff had a bit too much haughty in attitude at times. Loved the details of design and artworks across the resort. Rooms could do with a few practical improvements & a bit of a touch up and if you’re staying above Freddys you’ll be dancing in your sleep😆💃🏻🥂 Loved it!

The staff were helpful, friendly and made my stay extra special. The food was delicious and the music was amazing. Definitely, this place was better than I imagined!

Breakfast was excellent - lots of choice which included, pastries, fresh fruit, granola, seeds, yoghurt, bacon, eggs, fresh orange juice, tea, coffee and toast. We ate the food by the pool which was amazing - highly recommend the Lebanese wraps and THE best cheese on toast on the planet. Pizzas on the terrace in the evening were delicious too. Great range of cocktails, wine and Estrella on tap. Handed your own glass bottle on arrival which you can fill up constantly from the chilled water machine in reception whenever you like. Also, at Club Tropicana, drinks ARE free as you get a free drinks voucher on check in!! Lovely touch. The staff were so welcoming, helpful and friendly. DJs playing chill out music changed daily bringing a wonderful vibe to your poolside chill out sessions. THE CLUB - FREDDIES. Free entry for all residents and their guests. Small, packed, sweaty but SIMPLY EPIC!! Great DJs, we saw THE Fatboy himself and Nightmares on Wax on 2 different nights. It opens every night except Tuesdays - the club staff deserve a night off!! The club has a massive outdoor terrace with a warm up DJ playing. A few bars dotted about on an evening just makes the place such a great place to spend a night into the early hours. The room (junior suite - number 19) had 2 air con units, a lounge area with sofa, table, mini bar, nespresso machine, snacks, 2 showers adjoining the main bedroom and a separate toilet with vanity area. Loads and loads of storage. Its QUIRKY - everywhere you look there are pictures, trinkets, fancies, antiques, stuffed stuff!! The gift shop pieces are fab, the iconic club Tropicana white trunks pin badge, Pikes water bottle etc The people that you meet at Pikes are all of the same mentality, vibe and wavelength. We met so many wonderful characters which made our stay even better. I cannot wait to go back again. I have wanted to stay at Pikes for years and I really don't know why it took so long. Remember: what happens at Pikes, stays at Pikes x

The door frames are a little low so watch out if you are a bit on the taller side - I had no issues. There are a couple of things that may need updating but I think they are slowly they are working their way through it. Pikes is no longer privately owned and I just hope the new chain that owns it, understands that its character is its charm and appeal and they don't attempt to over commercialise it.

Its not a hype 5 star hotel so don’t expect that we stayed in the George Michael room and was a nice comfy room.
