I stayed at Hostal Mallorca for a week at the end of May and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home. Check-in was quick and easy, and I was pleasantly surprised by how peaceful the hotel was at night, especially considering it’s just a 5-minute walk from the vibrant energy of San Antonio’s West End. The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily with fresh towels and came equipped with air conditioning, a fridge, and a safe, which made my stay even more comfortable. One detail that really stood out to me was the lovely Spanish girl at reception who, one morning, greeted me with a warm smile and served me an espresso. It was a small but thoughtful gesture that perfectly reflected the warmth and hospitality of the Ibizan people, just one of those simple moments that leave a lasting impression. If you’re looking for a quiet, friendly family run place to stay that’s close to the heart of the action yet peaceful at night, I can’t recommend Hostal Mallorca enough. It truly made my week in Ibiza feel special.

Everything ❤️ the beautiful young girl on reception was a absolute angel and the other lady who we saw as well this is a Famliy hotel and what a lovely kind Famliy they were providing everything you need and so safe if you were a single person here I would give his place 4 stars if I could rate it only stayed for one night with my boyfriend and would def stay again I’m sure after a few days here it would feel like a second home to anyone The room was so clean as well and the air conditioning amazing esp in august as I can’t deal with the hest well The security was good as well with secure access to the rooms and the housekeeper was so friendly and helpful to us The breakfast menu and drinks are so affordable and the coffee is amazing as well it’s less than 5 mins to the centre near the egg and 5 mins to the bus station we’re you can get the airport bus for 4 euros or the disco bus to all the clubs there and back for 5 euros each please have the cash as well as card though as some don’t do card payments the bus drops you off at the clubs then picks you up with the last bus being 06.30am The trip adviser rating is spot on with being superb and I wish I would have stayed here for longer sorry I didn’t say goodbye in person and thank the wonderful family they were but I was rushing to get to the airport ❤️❤️

Only that they didn’t have a pool but 3 mins away at azuline hotel you could freely use that which was amazing and the food as well

The room was clean and a great size for 3 people. The meals downstairs were cheaper than you’d get from the local cafes. Location was good - many restaurants, bars and supermarkets nearby and was close to the ocean, however about a 15 minute walk to the closest beach, more than 600 yards as the website says. It is still a very convenient location, and if you’re a clubber you can easily walk to and from the San Antonio station for the Discobus (which takes you to the most popular clubs and back). The Cuban man working at reception overnight was helpful and very lovely.

There were no gluten free options at the cafe downstairs unfortunately, and as I am coeliac it meant that I had to eat elsewhere for a higher price. It is also very difficult (particularly for non-Spanish speakers) to contact the hotel for any reason before the booking. It took about 2 weeks to make a change in my reservation, because the phone wasn’t being answered, or there were no English-speakers. As well as that, my email wasn’t answered. This lead to confusion upon our arrival as they expected extra payment. Two staff members in particular were also quite short with us which made us uncomfortable in the hotel unfortunately.

The room was very clean and cozy. The bathroom shower had very nice strong pressure and also the size of bathroom quiet big. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. One night we get too excited and we played loud music but the staff just knock on our door and tell us to lower the volume, and we apologize for that. I was thinking the staff gonna be angry with us but not at all. They are so friendly. Really happy to stay here. Would love to go back here again. The breakfast so delicious and also cheap. Thank you, we really enjoy our stay!

Big and clean room with Air condition, nice bathroom, elevator. Staff was very friendly, basically family business. We asked for shower after check out, so they gave us clean towels and keys to special shower room. I think it will be hard to find something like this for this price. Perfect location, 5 min walk to bus station and 5 min to the beach and sunset spot. A lot of shops near buy and very nice restaurant downstairs with prices lower then I expected. Perfect for couple who want to enjoy Ibiza island. Fully recommended will be back there.

We couldn’t find pilot for air condition but temperature was set up for 22’ so perfect anyway.

The stuff was super nice and the services were really adjusted to us. For example you can borrow the umbrella and towels for the beach for free, also you can enjoy morning breakfast and prices are super affordable. As for the location, it was really good for me, because we were traveling to different places, exploring the different beaches and the bus station is like 5 minutes to walk, also it is near to the center and the facilities like shops and restaurants are around the place. Place is not in noisy neighborhood.

The room was big and good. The restaurant good price and the staff is great.

If you are going in summer, especial July and August, be aware: there is no parking spot available close to the hotel! Every night was a nightmare to find a place to stop. One day we circulated around for more than 45 minutes, and end up parking the car in a spot 15min (walking) away from the hotel. No luck for us in this matter.

Friendly staff with a great little cafe downstairs. The free beach umbrellas were a bonus. Great location, walking distance to anything you’d need in the city and only 8 mins walking from the bus station. Rooms are air conditioned with a mini fridge.

Air conditioner is set on a timer and turns off about every 2 hours. You cannot change the settings (temp, fan, etc.) of the AC unit at all. We got both a balcony and non balcony room and the balcony rooms were tiny. Don’t choose this one. It’s noisy as the walls are thin.

Clean, modern facilities, lovely staff, great location in San Antonio. Short walk from the beach and the discobus stop, Mundo Street Food next door as well.

At least in our room, you couldn’t turn the shower on to full pressure without flooding the bathroom. Everything else was fine.

We have been using the Booking application for a long time, this is one of the rare cases when we did not have any complaints. The location is excellent. The hostel has been renovated, the furniture is in excellent condition, the bathrooms are spacious. It is very clean, the maid cleans the room every day. The hostel staff is very pleasant and friendly. If we return to Ibiza again, we will return to this accommodation.
