This is the 5th time I've stayed here & there's a reason why I keep coming back to stay. The place suits my needs perfectly. I always receive a friendly welcome, the location is spot on with the bus station, shops, bars/restaurants & attractions all a close walk away. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable & come with a fridge, kettle, tv & fan. Pretty much everything I need. I'll be back again soon - thanks again!!

Sorry, this bit should be wtitten in the below question on what we did like whay we DIDN'T like .The online check in procedure prior to arrival was bad. Lack of response to my emails up until 30 mins before arrival Didn't know how we would enter the property. Had to chase the booking up with Booking.Com.who also received no response from them ! Luckily when we arrived, the front door to the property was actually open so we were able to access the accommodation. The young lady checking us in was her first day working there and after venting my frustrations on her...... she was so lovely and obliging .
No response from hotel to our enquiries

Another brilliant stay. The location is just spot on with lots of bars, shops & restaurants nearby. The beach & the bus station are only 5 mins away too. The room was clean, comfortable & quiet. Adding the fridge in the room with a kettle/cups is ideal for me as a solo traveller.
I had a different room to the one I stayed in previously & the room was severely lacking in natural light. This one had a sky light which was way up high in the ceiling & hardly let in any natural light. The room just felt really dark especially in the morning/day time. To be honest, I'm clutching at straws as this really wasn't a big issue on the grand scheme of things as overall I had another excellent stay!!

Perfect place to enjoy Las Canteras and some weekend night life in Parque Santa Catalina. The beach is few hundred meters away. You have everything you need at hand, the Guaguas (the busses) stop just around the corner and you can reach Mesa y Lopez with a fast walk. The external room was nice and clean, the staff is cool. Very good price for what you get!
The only thing we missed, was some space to hang towels, beach towels and swimming suits to dry. To use the room's balcony is forbidden, so they might think of some space on the roof for that purpose. The noise from outside might be a problem if you don't sleep tight, but for us it was OK.

The location is just off the main square. It's also within a short walking distance of the beach, bus station, harbour, and many attractions. The room was spacious with a twin bed tv, desk, and ample closet space. There were a sufficient number of powerpoints. The private bathroom was clean and had a powerful shower.
The balcony was a julienne balcony. The noise from one of the local bars was loud even with the windows shut. In the hotels defence, the windows shut out a lot of noise, but the compare must have had their Mike turned up very loud.

Welcomed by a friendly host who patiently explained the ins and outs of the stay. Everything was just perfectly in order. From the hostel you can go either to Las Canteras beach, or to the other side of the peninsula on the harbour side. There are parking facilities (not too expensive) in the near neighbourhood. The room was very clean, big, beautiful high ceiling with large windows to the street. The curtains were waving friendly in the wind, ofcourse some noises from the street - but hey, it's downtown Las Palmas, near the beach and in the middle of shops, restaurants, cafe's. Nevertheless I had a great night sleep with the windows open. The bathroom was pleasant, clean - and well taken care of (no cracks in the tiles or anything like that)
Nothing, everything was just perfect.

I really like staying here when visiting Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. I've stayed a few times now & there's a reason I keep returning. The location is excellent with so many bars, restaurants, shops, the beach & bus station so close by. It's clean, comfortable & good value for money. The staff are also amazing & super helpful.
There was an unfortunate mix up with my booking, I had initially booked the penthouse apartment but it was double booked. I was initially frustrated by this but Michelle on reception & the staff were more than happy to sort things. I was offered a different room & also a good discount. Whilst not the room I had initially booked the issue was sorted very quickly & I was very happy with the resolution. The staff were excellent & another reason why I'd be happy to stay again. Thank you.

In the context of the price paid Hostal Kasa was excellent. Friends who visited my room said that next year they will book here. The staff were lovely and when I lost my door card solved my problem swiftly and with a minimum amount of fuss. I have stayed in this area a few times and this is one of, if not the best, accommodation I've stayed in. Having a large terrace was also a big plus for me.
I was on the noisy side of the hostal (from the street) but I'd been expecting this so had earplugs to hand.

The location is perfect! Central to all major spots, the bus station, restaurants, the St Catalina park. Even as a visitor to the town you cannot get lost.
The room I got was not the best. Smelt of fresh paint, no window in the bathroom, only one window in the room that was too far high to open, no natural lighting,no balcony. Felt like I was in a high-roofed cell. I could tell there were better room options but that is not clear on the website to choose from.

Small, quiet hotel in lovely neighbourhood, very close to cafes, restaurants, shops and bars. A small suppermarket is a 2 minute walk, open from 8 am until 9 pm, aos a bar selling burgers next to supermarket. Pharmacy in samestreet as supermarket. Santa Catalina bus station and park is a 5-10 minute walk from hotel. Friendly staff. Hotels has 3 floor, with rooms on floor 1 and floor 2. Lift/elevator is available. Lift/elevator activated by room key card. Tactile numbers on room doors, also on lift/elevator buttons. Coffee machine on first floor, near room 5. Room had double bed with pillows and bedsheets. Roomhad small table, one chair, wardrobe, fridge. En-suite bathroom, shower with hot water and good pressure. Toilet with paper, bin in bathroom and room. Sink in bathroom with hand soap. Plug sockets near bed. Tiny balcony with glass doors that can be opened. Small fan on wall next to TV.
No staff available before 10 am and after 6 pm. No atmosphere in hotel, extremely quiet. Couldn't find steps to go up and down from first floor. Problem with lock on room door, but staff did fix it. Internet WiFi extremely slow.
