Great spacious rooms. There was a big TV and a fridge which all hotels should have. Also, the beds were really comfortable and the pillows and the number of pillows provided are the best I’ve ever come across while travelling. Got some very good rest. The staff were also incredible and very friendly. We got there early, and were able to check in early. But also, when we were leaving our flight was late in the evening, and the staff at reception were really kind to keep our suitcases behind reception while we spent a few more hours at the beach. Lastly, the shuttle from and to the airport came in really handy.

The breakfast selection was a little limited and there was no variation during our stay. There’s wifi, but it’s barely usable. There is also an option to use netflix on the TV, but they don’t seem to be connected to the wifi. This would have come in handy since there were only two English channels. It’s great that there is a fridge, but again it takes a whole night to cool things down and we couldn’t seem to get anything really cold which would have been nice since the weather was really hot.

The rooms were a nice size and bathroom was excellent. The personel was really nice and always helpful. Liked the roof terrace as well.

As a vegetarian I was not to keen on the breakfast. I missed some fresh fruit and vegetables. Maybe some artisanal bread and local produce. Also the basement placement of the breakfast diner, with no windows wasn’t the best. Breakfast lady was just as super nice as everyone else :) My room wasn’t very soundproof.

The staff at Hotel Dona Luisa were exceptional. In particular, the front desk staff. They were ever so helpful and kind with my questions and how to get around Gran Canaria on the public busses. The location of this hotel is perfect....the beach is about a three minute walk!!! Despite the fact that Hotel Dona Luisa is so close to the beach, it is extremely quiet in the rooms

Perfect location, staff were superb and very friendly, the terrace with outdoor shower was ideal and nicely sheltered from wind. Bed was comfortable and room cleaned to a high level every day. Tea/coffee and kettle provided as well as fridge and safe (10 euro deposit but free). Can also have a beach towel for free with a 10 euro deposit. Reception 24 hour and hotel secure and you use your door key to also enter hotel.

Everything was excellent

Nice and clean hotel with excellent location in a peaceful neighborhood. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice rooftop terrace, I enjoyed morning exercises with sunrise and sunbathing. Serene and easy-to-access family-owned hotel.

Very small things. The bathroom scent was something strong, and when it evaporated, the smell from plumbing became evident. The mattress was very hard, and I will need a massage after the trip.

I liked everything, great friendly staff, only minor thing to mention: A bit smelly in the bathroom, but this is normal on these islands, often not the owners fault but just a matter of fact due to canalisation. But this is really a very very minor problem - except if you wanna sleep in the bathroom :) Rest was exceptional!

we spent 2 nights to celebrate our anniversary and they welcomed us with a surprise welcome present. They gave us a great room in the 6th floor with a view of the la Puntilla seaside. The reception girl in the afternoon shift was very kind, so the rest of the staff. Very clean, nice room. We had breakfast only one day (it was ok). Location few seconds from the beach. We will come back :)

The location was near the beach and there was a taxi rank outside and a Spar supermarket nearby. The reception staff were friendly and the reception area comfortable. The bedroom was a reasonable size and had air conditioning and good blackout curtains.

The breakfast was in a basement room which felt a bit dingy. The bed was not very comfortable to me.

Great staff, room clean and comfortable and they allowed us early check in, very useful. Good location also.

Pillow was a little thick, but it's difficult to please everyone

The beds were extremely comfortable. Spotlessly clean. Fantastic shower. The location was excellent.

The breakfast offering quality was not great. Multilingual TV stations in the room, very poor offering of English speaking channels.
