My room was clean and I liked the green styling of the room. The beach is just 2-3 minutes away by walking and even the bust station - where the bus arrives from the airport - is about 10 minutes away. The breakfast was great and the guy who made it was very kind and helpfull.

Slow repplies to my messages. I got answer to my last message just before check in despite sending the message more than 24h prior to that.

This hotel ticked all my boxes for a short stay and I would also consider a long stay. The location of the hotel was perfect within the area of the locals and within short walking distance to the beach. There are local shops café bars and night life within a very short walking distance. Also close to the centre shopping street with some good commercial retail stores. The hotel exceeded my expectations with modern facilities and roof top terrace smoking area. It was spotless in the rooms and public areas. The staff were good and helpful giving information about directions to the old town and hot spots areas (I think a French guy). I would highly recommend and 100% stay here again 👍

It's unfortunate but the bin area in front of the hotel rooms when some people are dumping rubbish or the bin men collecting the rubbish 😐 Also if I'm being picky the shower takes a little time to get hot 😏

Lovely boutique little place just a short walk from the beach and also great location for bars and restaurants. Spotlessly clean with a relaxed feel. Simple spot with just what you need for an uncomplicated base to explore everything that Las Palmas has to offer.

Everything was fine for an independent traveller. If you want a clean, comfortable base then this is perfect...If you want big hotel facilities then this isn't for you but it is a perfect base for exploring.

I loved everything about my stay there. Right from the outset, the staff were welcoming and helpful. They arranged for me to have a private taxi pickup, which is exactly what I needed after a 28-hour flight, and they were lovely when I arrived. The staff, in particular, Amber, even gave me tips for my stay in Gran Canaria, including great places to eat and events that were happening—and even a recommendation for a great hairdresser! The breakfast was terrific, and so was the chef—he was a lovely man. Overall, I would thoroughly recommend staying here to anyone travelling to Gran Canaria.

The hotel staff was super nice, very easy to communicate with both before and during the stay. The room was clean, bed comfortable, and the location close to the beach is very convenient. I had a very good stay and I would recommend this place to others.

In the room there are just a few details to fix such as a black stain on the bathroom ceiling or a bathroom bin that wouldn't open. Another thing that I'd like to mention doesn't depend on the hotel but I just want to flag it. On my first morning I was quite scared by a fight that took place very close to the hotel, and a local person informed me that unfortunately it sometimes happens on this particular street. Fortunately, the police station is very close by, so they solved the issue promptly. Despite these inconveniences I was still happy about my stay and I chose this hotel also for another stay in Las Palmas.

Hotel MG Poniente is an excellent hotel from my recent experience. The hotel is newly refurbished & is very well maintained with comfortable rooms. It is a quiet hotel & I didn't hear any street noise. Breakfast was good & everywhere is spotlessly clean The hotel is a one minute walk from the beach & good seafront restaurants. I can highly recommend this hotel for any stay. It's a small hotel & that's part of its charm as there is attention to detail from the staff. Amber & all the staff members including the guy who helped serve breakfast & the cleaning staff were all so lovely, & couldn't have been any more helpful. Highly recommend Hotel MG Poniente for a stay.

There is nothing I didn't like about this hotel.

Renovated and clean. Powerful shower. Comfortable mattress. Huge LED TV. Fridge in the room. Availability of kettle on request. Breakfast I would say not exceptional but You get, more or less, anything You need and with good quality food. Position is just few steps from “Las Canteras Beach”. Staff (and Amber overall) ready to welcome You with a warm smile, always friendly and willing to help with anything !

The hotel is very centrally located in Las Palmas and it is only about 400 meters to the beach. It is quite new, according to the date of the elevator 2021. Everything nice and clean, super friendly staff and pleasant stay. As a German for whom German bakery is important, there is a lack of semi-food at breakfast. The breakfast overall is also rather simple, therefore "only" 8 out of 10 stars.

This is a fairly new hotel and its very modern and clean. Its in a really good location - 10 minute walk from Santa Catalina bus station and 5 minutes from the beach front. Beach front has lots of restaurants and coffee shops. Hotel was really nice and the staff very freindly and helpful. Shout out to the chap doing the breakfast! The breaksfast I would say was adequate but still nice and did the job. The cost of B&B was good. Our room was a nice size, the bathroom a good size too. Air conditioning worked just fine! beds comfy. They have a policy where you have to put a note on the door if you want the room cleaned, its not automatic but that was fine for us. All in all a great location - clean and tidy. There was no noise from outside if you kept the window shut but as air con worked well this was not an issue for us. Would recommend a stay here....and in Las Palmas in general. Easy to get a bus from the airport to the Santa Catalina bus station. Its only about 3 euros per person each way. The bus service is clean, regular and reliable.

Nice hotel to spend a few days in Las Palmas. The staff very kind, the reception lady messaged me on WhatsApp when my room was ready, allowing me to check in sooner. The breakfast was quite good except the coffee (I will pay a bit more every night just to have a good coffee in the morning...)

The room was quite clean, but it needs some improvement. Quite a bad smell when I first entered in the room.
