Casa de las Artes Hotel was absolutely exceptional! The design was breathtaking - every corner was so thoughtfully curated and incredibly aesthetic. Everything was so clean, and I loved the custom body creams and care products from a local brand. The hotel provided every amenity imaginable, from dental kits to beautifully designed glasses for coffee, wine, and water. My room was sunny and spacious. The bed was super comfortable, and the attention to detail in every aspect of the room was impressive. You should have seen the restaurant (a separate piece of art and luxury!). The staff was warm and attentive! Special thanks to Paola, for her amazing friendly support! I cannot recommend this place enough - it’s a hidden gem I’ll definitely return to!

Everything was amazing!

If it were possible to give a rating of six (6) stars, I would. Everyone - from reception to dining - was gracious, the food - breakfast and dinner - was nothing short of excellent, and the decor was both pleasant and interesting. Loved the refreshing lap pool and sauna. Plenty of available work spaces for individuals and groups. And did I say anything about location, location, location? For us, for our four-night stay and what we wanted to do in our first visit to Madrid, this hotel had it all. - "Destination Dave"

Nothing.

Great hotel with lovely design. Staff were also helpful and friendly. Cleaning / housekeeping was great. The room was always clean and they organized some of my toiletries and wires by the side tables (details). I didn’t like the fact the doors had no swing lock, no peep hole to see who’s knocking and soundproofing wasn’t the greatest. I could hear everything nearby though thankfully my side was pretty quiet until last few days when other guests checked in. The doors were kind of raised above the ground so the sounds were pretty clear from both sides. Either way it was a very good stay, felt safe and was clean. I didn’t try the other facilities like pool, cinema or breakfast area but they looked nice. Most areas were about 15-30 minutes max walking. Near Atocha station if you want to go to Barcelona and near Retiro park.

Great location. Near Prado, Retiro park, Slamanca on one side and a 15-20min walk towards the Gran Via, Plaza Mayor area on the other side. Breakfast was great, not a large variety of meals but quite sufficient in choice and tasty. We tried the restaurant in the afternoon as well, also was wonderful. Staff very polite and helpful. Loved the complimentary drinks in the bar upon the arrival. Gym is great, clean and well equipped; opet 0-24h. Really loved this part. Room was maintained twice a day, regular cleaning and evening turnover with chocolates on the bed and complimentary water bottles on the bedside.

All was fine. Would suggest to keep more attention on the bathroom cleaning.

+ This hotel has a good design, nice modern interior decoration and smiley reception staff, as well as beautiful bar/breakfast area. It is very well located for the museums and the cool districts such as the Literary Quarter and Latina. The neighbourhood is a world apart from the well-healed neighbourhoods like Salamanca though. - Our standard rooms were small. Our used tea/coffee cups were not changed for days in a row. One day the spa was shut early and this was not announced properly, resulting in disappointment which didn’t get compensated for. We were also promised tapas upon arrival for staying 5 days, which never materialised. I think there is potential for better management.

The hotel has some amazing common spaces - including a "wellness area" that has a lap pool and really good sauna and steam room, a library with comfy couches and work tables. We ended up with a booking that included breakfast which is held in their gorgeous restaurant and was quite tasty. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Small gym, but high quality treadmills / weights.

One of the elevators kept breaking - thankfully not when we were trying to check in or out as we were on the 5th floor, but we did have to hike the stairs a few times (less fun coming from the pool area in a robe and flip flops).

Location - quite central, right in front of the subway and close to the museums Staff friendliness - nothing to object, no fake smiles Gym - chic, with modern equipment Restaurant: food was delicious

1. they mixed up our rooms: couple booked room with city view and got the courtyard view; single room was supposed to have the courtyard view, but got the city view 2. why would you give the option on booking.com to choose the type of bed (one king vs 2 single), if the hotel they cannot guarantee it? and they didn’t provide a king bed. 3. we had dinner at the restaurant and they forgot to fulfill one order. the waiter said: ‘no worries, 5 minutes’. it took 30 minutes.

Location, beautiful interior (library, bar), breakfast, swimming pool and sauna

Standard rooms have a small window overlooking the inner courtyard, which means it feels like a room with no windows, dark and not cosy. The bathroom is small and very basic, does not feel like a 4 star hotel bathroom, more like a hostel bathroom. The room was not cleaned once (even though I left the sign « please make up my room » outside). There is a wine glass in the room but no wine in the minibar. But these are of course the small things that did not spoil my stay, yet this is what one expects for the pricetag

When out room was not the room we booked or suitable the reception desk quickly found us another . Large very well air conditioned building , interesting historic building , beautiful dining room , cocktail bar and library we relax in after or during a hot day . Great location could walk 8mins to Reina Sofia museum . Very helpful staff ……

It’s a corporate hotel so large and a bit impersonal but great in the summer months . They could not guarantee a double / Queen bed before arrival . Rather inhuman bot responses to questions before we arrived …..

The breakfast had many choices in the buffet. Nice pastries, fresh juices, fruit and cappuccino. You were also given a choice to order one dish from the menu. The omelet was delicious but the waffle was hard and didn’t taste fresh. The pool was beautiful and they had a nice sauna. There was complimentary glass bottles of mineral water in the room daily. They had umbrellas available for use during a rainy morning. Welcoming staff.

There was a convention during our stay so we were asked to avoid the lobby walk-through to leave or get to the pool. We were instructed to go through the restaurant to leave the hotel and get to the elevator to return. The library and movie theatre were closed to guests not with the convention.
