Amazing location, on a popular street, close to all the important places. Great view from the balcony, towards Calle del Arenal and Parroquia de San Ginés. Clean and comfortable room, just with the minimum necessary furniture.

The room would need a general improvement (for the furniture, floor and the general aspect). Many fixes were probably done in a rush without taking care of the aspect. The temperature of the water was uncontrollable for both the sink and the shower. It seemed that the hot water was also coming from the cold water pipe, so no matter the position of the tap, hot and super hot water was coming. Because of the club on the opposite side of the street, the weekend nights can be pretty noisy because of the people staying outside and talking.

Excellent location, near to all the attractions and 300m away from the metro station. Pablo, one of the receptionists was very kind and helpful, making recommendations about local sites, food and drinks.

The fan was Ok but an air conditioning would have been better. Also a mini fridge could be very useful.

Friendly welcome, nice clean room. Secure and safe. Easy, secure access in and out of the building. Very convenient location between Sol & Opera metro stations. Stored our bags on leaving day until the afternoon.

Shower access was a little tight, but the private bathroom was a big advantage.

The Hostal is conveniently situated near the opera house, which was the primary aim of my brief stay in Madrid. The personnel was very helpful and insisted on my understaning and practicing the electronic keys to the hall and the room. Even though the building is quite old, the bathroom was small but modern and very efficient.

Space was a bit tight, bathroom was super small The windows and walls aren't soundproof, so you can hear other rooms and people talking on the street.

Great location, lots of attractions, cafes, bars and stores within walking distance. Bright and quite spacious room with its own balcony. Pleasant and polite staff.

The water in the shower is warm, not hot. No possibility to make tea or coffee in the room, but there are many cafes nearby

Needed room urgently, room available was sufficient for our needs. Comfy beds. Would stay again but choose different room when more choice of rooms available. Fantastic location though.

Location was perfect, super close to Plaza Mayor and right across from San Gines (best churros)! The room was very clean, comfortable, and had nice natural light.

Very lovely staff, very welcoming and polite. The area was really amazing and right in the center of Sol, so 5 min to the station. All cool shops and famous places are a walking distance. GOOD value of money
