We loved the location. A 2-minute walk to Plaza Mayor. On Calle Mayor which made navigating to various parts of town very easy. Loved the space. Having three bedrooms was great. The air conditioning worked well and made the hot days in Madrid very comfortable when at “home.”

There seemed to be a few repairs that were needed, nothing major, but the dishwasher and molding in the main bathroom need attention. There also weren’t any hot pads, so if I wanted to use a pan in the oven, there wasn’t anything to use to get the hot pan out of the oven. The beds were also very hard. Perhaps a foam topper would help?

The whole experience was fabulous. There were six of us, 4 adults and two teenagers, in a three bedroom apartment and it was incredibly spacious. There were four balconies and one of the bedrooms had an ensuite. There was air conditioning in all rooms (we found this not to be the case in all Spanish apartments). The street below is incredibly busy however we rarely heard any noise. The check in process was incredibly easy. There was a welcome pack which contained washing up liquid, a sponge, dish washer tablets and a bin bag. I would absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone, however I don't know if all the three bedroom apartments are the same. I would also recommend the area and a Madrid as a whole. The people were friendly and helpful and the square opposite has all kinds of shops and restaurants. The transport network was close and efficient, however we didn't use it as much as some of the other cities as we didn't need to. If you look at the apartments and walk to the left up the main street there is a supermarket. There is everything in the immediate area that you could possibly want.

There was no corkscrew in the kitchen. There was no hairdryer, however I didn't ask as my hair dried that quick in the heat. I absolutely feel if I had asked they would have supplied one. The TV did not have any English channels, however it did allow screen sharing for our UK Netflix. These are literally the only negatives!

The location of the apartment, the possibility of electronic access to the premises, the kitchen equipment — coffee machine, microwave, kettle, and dishes — as well as good soundproofing, are very important features for a place located right in the city center.

The apartment is not suitable for 4 people. It is more appropriate for 2 adults and at most 1 child, as the sofa in the living room is not very comfortable for sleeping. Additionally, the bathroom door was secured with an old-fashioned latch, which was very inconvenient and negatively affected the overall impression of the apartment. There was also no cleaning service for three days; maybe this is the standard, but at the very least, we expected fresh linens, towels, and proper rubbish disposal.

The location of the apartment is just in the center of Madrid, in the middle of everything. It was very convenient, as we were travelling with kids, to be able to quik go into apartment if need it. The apartment was very nice and clean with a beautiful view on Calle Mayor street. The kitchen was well equipped so we had breakfast here every morning. Shops are in walking distance and Porta del Sol (metro station) is 2 min walking distance. The free taxi ride from airport was well appreciated. Definitely a very good choice for a Madrid City Break.

Nothing, everything was good.

The apartment is in a fabulous central location, we could easily walk to most of main sites. Despite the crowds passing by the street, it was not noisy during the night, probably because we were on the 5th floor. The managers, whom we contacted easily on Whatsapp when we arrived in Madrid, allowed us to enter the apartment in the morning (standard check-in time was 16:00), which we appreciated a lot; there were no key complications, as we received an easy-to-use entrance code (same for the building and the apartment). The apartment was just of the right size for a family of 4, and well-equipped with everything needed for a few days' stay.

The apartments on the same floor share a very small corridor, so in the living room (where the sofa bed is) you could hear when other people were arriving to/leaving their apartments. Also the apartment picture on the Booking.com reservation was not the one of the actual rented apartment.

The apartment is comfortable and in a strategic location, which makes it very easy to travel around Madrid from there. The amenities were fine, there was everything we needed. The communication with the host was smooth and fast.

The cleanliness was not exceptional, there was some visible dust on bedside tables and on the floor in some places. The price is really high for such a basic place compared to what you can get for it in other parts of Spain, but it looks like unfortunately it’s a general trend in Madrid…

Excellent location, clean apartment, very helpful and immediately available host, although we have never met :).

The price is little bit high. We spent tree days on Valencia before we booked this apartment. The one in center of Valencia was equally good, with excellent location, just as this one, but literally for the half price per night. We know that there is more demand in Madrid than in Valencia, but the price still seemed a bit high to us. It seems that this is the case in Madrid, as similar apartments in the center are rented for about the same price.

Place was clean and great location. Videos on how to use things in the place were helpful but not totally accurate - for instance the washer was different so the video wasn't really helpful. Appreciate that they brought more supplies when needed. People at the facility were very responsive. Also nice that they let us leave our luggage in the room while it was being cleaned, and allowed us to check in early.

The unit was overlooking Calle Mayor - so great location but could be noisy on certain nights. Monday night at midnight garage collection started.

Clean, spacious apartment. Good facilities, dish washer, coffee machine etc. Great location, very central to shops and many tourist attractions within the city. Check in was straightforward, communication was clear and prompt.

Small issue - the bed was rock solid! Also, our particular apartment had no view at all. All windows looked out into the stair wells, the blinds were closed on all windows on arrival and I can understand why - suppose it is luck of the draw which apartment you get. Wouldn’t stop me from returning.

Everything was great. Maybe the most standout unique aspect was the online guest area that gave you all the info you needed at your fingertips. Checkin was super clear and easy. Upon entering the apartment we all felt totally at ease and so glad to have such wonderful accommodation. The small things that make a difference were all catered for, such as spare bin bags, washing up liquid, laundry detergent etc. Whenever we contacted the staff they were very polite and quick to respond and did everything to help us.

The power seemed to short circuit every 15 minutes when the washing machine was on but this is forgivable given you may not even use that machine and in fact everything else was still so great. Still a 10/10 stay despite this.
