The location and the staff! The location is the best of the best. And the receptionist guy, im sorry I forgot what his name is, was super friendly and helpful! His helper partner was nice too. And I don't know if I was lucky or what, all the people in the rooms were very respectful, mindful of others, and nice to talk to. They were so considerate and kept the room really quiet at night. We extended our stay there so we had the experience staying in 2 different rooms, one was 4 beds and the second 6 beds. Even tho the room was small and the bed didn't look fancy at all, the bed was very sturdy (I'm realizing this because the fancy high review hostel in Barcelona I stayed at, their beds look really nice but it makes a lot of squeaky noise when toss and turn on it). The washroom was clean all the time. I didn't come into this expecting much knowing this is a budget and tight space, so this was a really nice surprise, totally exceeded my expectations. The whole place felt really cozy to me. And the kitchen is well equipped too.

I can't complain much for the price and my experience here was great which exceeded my expectation.

This hostel is set in a flat on the fourth floor of a nice building in the city centre, away from the noise and chaos of the crowded streets. The space available is almost entirely used for bedrooms, there is the reception in one corner, a service bathroom and a small kitchen where there is also a washing machine and dryer. But despite the limitations of room, the RC Miguel Angel is run with love and attention to detail by the people who work there, so that you will find a sober and clean environment, and in the bedrooms comfort, pleasant air conditioning and a bathroom en suite.

Very central hostel, in the heart of Madrid, on a lively and bustling street. It is on the top floor of the building in which it is located, and you enjoy more peace than other hostels on the street level. The limitation in my opinion is that it has small common spaces, it is not suitable for the settling tourist who needs comfort and a home environment, but for the active and dynamic traveller who moves around frequently and spends more time visiting the city than in accommodation.

I think this hostel during the tourist season is worth more than the review score says. It consists of a few ensuite rooms, a small kitchen and a service toilet, so that in the wintertime, when you are more indoors, you may feel a little cramped. But from March until November, in a city like Madrid, tourists only go to the hostel to sleep, they don't need large common areas, and the beds at Miguel Angel seemed comfortable to me. The staff was friendly and warm, I sensed a family atmosphere that put me at ease.

- You can’t cook in the kitchen - Impossible to have a common area but doesn’t matter bec the place is tiny - I found a small toilet behind a curtain in the hallway which was weird

Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and also great location. I had a short time before my flight to rest and the staff was wonderful letting me check in super early and changing my room so I could sleep for a few hours. The bed was very comfortable and the room was small, but great. I had a lovely stay.

The place was located nearby to basically everywhere you wanna see in Barcelona. The personnel was also nice, I had a very great conversation with Fernando. I really hope to stay here again if I come to Barcelona

You don't have (or given) the access private for the main door to enter the etabissement. Therefore, you have to ring the bell every time you come in. However, it's not a Big deal since the personnel is always available 24 hours.

When I checked in, I had a great interaction with the front desk man, and received helpful advice on getting a bus to the airport early in the next morning. The location of the hostel is great for sightseeing and enjoying the lively centre of Madrid.

The room was quite small, but comfortable. I would have liked more airflow, but was grateful for the air conditioning unit. The bathroom was very small for all 8 guests to share, but it was adequate and clean. The locker was too small for my backpack to fit inside, but I was grateful to have a place to lock away my valuables while exploring the city.

Good location. Just a few minutes away from Sol. I was also able to leave my backpack before the check-in time and go see Madrid without it.

Someone in the common area was listening to some show for a long time, which we could hear in our room. It was really annoying.

The location and the staff excellent. Comfort of the beds, rooms and bathroom good, taking into account the price, very good. Hostel is located in the city centre, a few min. walk from Puerta Del Sol. The staff, starting with receptionists, finishing with the cleaning lady, very kind, helpful and smily. Todo estupendo, la ubicación, la gente que trabaja en el hostal, la limpieza. Lo recomiendo:)
