Had a fabulous stay at Vincci the Mint Madrid! The location couldn't have been better. Center of town so everything is walkable but just outside Puerto del Sol so you don't have to deal with the crowds/tourist traps. We easily walked to the Royal Palace of Madrid, Retiro Park, Serrano, and countless tapas bars, restaurants, and shops. No Ubers needed! Our room was lovely with a comfortable bed, sitting area, good size bathroom, and two Juliet balconies facing the alleyway on the side of the building. The alleyway was not busy which made for quiet nights in our second floor room. The breakfast add on was well worth the upgrade as you could order unlimited items off the menu each morning which came out quick and hot. We ended every night on the rooftop which had beautiful views of Madrid. Can't wait to return!
The staff on the main level were so kind and helpful giving directions, recommendations, and helping anyway that they could. Would have loved to see that same kindness from the rooftop staff.

The hotel is very well located in the city with access to plenty of transport options and short walking distance to the touristic places. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Beds are really comfy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast options are great and taste well.
One thing that surprised me was the pricing for brekfast. We did not have it included, so one morning we simply went to have it in the lobby bar. Breakfast price is 19EUR and we were told that if we hit 19 EUR per person, this price wont go up. My order was 19 EUR and my wife ordered for less than 15, but in the end we had to pay 40+ EUR for this. I didn't get why. Also, after the departure I was charged for a drink from the mini bar that we never had. After a short email they returned me money straight away. And the coffee could be much better - my double espresso tasted like batch brew possibly from the instant coffee.

The hotel entrance is stylish and inviting, and check-in was smooth with a friendly staff. I loved the little touches throughout the lobby—free Red Bulls during my stay, a water station, and a large gummy bear jar near the elevator. The room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and included a covered patio. Candies were waiting as a welcome gift, and the patio was a great spot to relax. Everything about the stay exceeded my expectations. There was more than enough space for all my things, and the thoughtful amenities really made the stay special. I
I travel to Madrid often, and I can’t believe I didn’t discover this hotel sooner. I’m a very happy new customer and will definitely return on future trips!

Comfortable and easy check in to lovely room in a fantastic location. Very clean room with a good walk in shower, comfy bed and tv with optional Spanish subtitles. Easy walk to most of the districts of interest and very easy to find your way back to Gran Via.
My room was on the 5th floor and although the balcony offered an amazing view, this is a city that rarely sleeps and even with sound proofing you can expect noise to travel into a room facing Gran Via. If that bothers you, you may want to request a room on the other side of the hotel. Prices have risen since I first stayed here.

My mother and I recently stayed at this hotel during our trip to Madrid, and overall, it was a truly wonderful experience—absolutely worth the stay. The interior design is incredibly stylish and elegant, creating a luxurious yet comfortable atmosphere. Our room was quiet, cozy, and featured a beautiful balcony view that made for some truly special moments. The breakfast spread was phenomenal—easily one of the best we’ve had while traveling. Everything was fresh and delicious, and it felt like such a treat to start the day that way. Most of the staff were warm, helpful, and attentive. There was one gentleman who had a bit of sass, but to be fair, he did pour a great glass of wine, so we let it slide. A small word of caution for fellow travelers from the U.S.—the smoked salmon served with the morning bagels might be a bit rich for the American gut. Both my mother and I had some tummy troubles for a few days before realizing the salmon was the culprit. If you’re European, you’ll probably be just fine. If not—just something to keep in mind. All that said, we would absolutely recommend this hotel and would love to return on our next trip to Madrid!

Vincci the Mint was lovely, with happy and helpful staff. The room was beautiful, the bed quite firm but still comfortable. Easy to find and very central. The rooftop bar was good, quite warm in the heat but had misters to cool you down. 10 minutes to the Atocha train station, and walkable to all the sites. The breakfast was awesome, highly recommend even if you aren't staying there.
The only down side was the number of people (from nearby hostels?) hanging around the laneway at the rear of the property from 12.30am to daybreak, talking and laughing very loudly. Made it difficult to sleep even with the double glazed windows. Not the hotels fault of course, but something to be mindful of if you're a light sleeper. Would I stay here again? As much as I loved the hotel and staff, sadly no I wouldn't, only for the lack of sleep

We chose a basic double size room for 5 nights(not deluxe or suite) and the room was a good size overlooking the Gran Via. The street outside was very noisy but with the window closed, the street noise was not noticeable (except the occasional siren). The bathroom and shower were excellent as was the king bed (two twins made up as one bed). There were nice amenities in the room and the lobby was a good place to to hang out. The roof deck had just opened for the season but we had multiple days of rain so we didn’t really get that experience. The location was excellent for walking to just about everything we did. The stand was very helpful and we would definitely return and recommend it.
Not really.

The accommodations were very comfortable, the location is excellent, the entire hotel was exceptionally clean. What differentiates a very good experience from potentially a less than spectacular one is how a situation is handled when an issue arises. After an initial less than stellar experience with the person who checked me in, Paco the other person working the desk that morning, went above and beyond to turn my experience around. He sat me down, brought me cake and some orange juice, apologized for my previous experience and offered a solution that was much more than i would have expected. Later that day I spoke with the manager Cristina about my experience and she was also excellent. I loved my stay at this hotel and highly recommend them for your stay in madrid.
I loved everything!

Great location, central to everything. We walked mostly. However, the metro and bus lines are close-by. All the reception staff were really good, all nice, helpful, and also spoke excellent English for those of us who are language challenged a bonus! The decor was as you see in the photos. It looks really funky. Room was well cleaned and spacious for 2 adults and a teen, with 2 rooms, living area and separate bedroom. And the shower was also good, with strong pressure at all times. As it was around 40c the ac was also very good, which was quite a necessity. Would certainly recommend and be happy to return.

The location is vrfry central and walkable to many important neighborhoods and attractions. The hotel is stylish, the rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. there isa great breakfast and really nice rooftop bar. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again.
Loved it all. It would be nice if the prices were lower and but they are pretty reasonable for central Madrid.
