Apartmentos Amazonas is in an excellent location. Many shops and restaurants within a 5 minute walk as well as a beautiful ecumenical church. It is a short walk to the beach and a bonus is the lift at the Atlantic centre which saves time and effort to a quiet beach at St Bartoleme. ( eastern side of Playa Ingles.) There is also access via the same lane in the opposite direction down to the beach at Maspalomas roundabout in the middle of the strip. There is a bus stop within 7 minutes and the main bus station at the Tropical centre is a 15 minute walk. Buses are regular and cheap. Anna , Thierry and Michael at reception ( 24hrs) are so kind and helpful . The apartments are cleaned 4 times a week and bedding is changed after 1 week. There is a hairdryer . All rooms from floor 2 up have a pool view and plenty of sun on the balcony. The twin beds are comfortable( cannot be pushed together) The kitchen has everything needed for cooking meals...3 saucepans, frying pan, colander, toaster, kettle and microwave , plenty of glasses and 3 sets of bowls,plates etc. The bathroom is adequate with a good shower and a good supply of hot water. The salt water swimming pool is gorgeous with plenty of sunbeds at this time of year. There are two lifts which worked perfectly. The small complex is off the main street and is very quiet. Good behaviour of guests is promoted and also a plus.

The apartments are * the location more than makes up for it . As there is no air conditioning it might be a problem for some people in the winter but for many in the summer. The size is perfect for two people but a bit cramped for 3 adults. There was no way to secure the open window in the bedroom.....there was no latch ...it was simply open or closed. It would be nice to open it a little in a secure way for a breeze at night

Only issue was the kettle and fridge need sorting out, On arrival no kettle in the room I asked the reception she said would try to find one when it arrived she said that if it did not work we would need to boil water in a saucepan, I asked why a new one could not be provided and she stated that would take a long time which seems pretty unbelievable they are readily available and not expensive, the kettle provided had an issue the on and off switch did not work so had to lift it off the base while it was boiling away nearly resulting in me being scolded on the hand. With regard to the fridge the freezer control did not work very efficiently it was either freezing everything in the main fridge if turned up or ice cream melted in the freezer compartment if it was turned lower

For this price you could not pick a better place. Great location, close to the beach. 5 minutes walk to the beach and a plus that you come down to the very best part of the beach with all the restaurants and shops. Close to the bus, 5 minutes walk from the airport bus. Close to supermarkets. Nice pool area with one of the bigger pools in this area. It wasn´t too cold either, so we used the pool a few times. Nice to have o poolbar. The apartement was just fine for us three, we had all we needed. Nice balcony. We were lucky to get the highest floor with most sunny hours on balcony.

Its quite noisy outside in the evenings and you want to sleep with the window open cause there is no air condition and it gets to hot with closed window. So be prepared to wake up a few times when people come back from night life. But it is in the middle of the center so its just something you have to count with, nothing that the hotel can change.

Great value for money, great location, nice big rooms and balconys. Close to the beach, to a supermarket, to the restaurants. Nice service with water and bread available in reception. Super friendly and helpful personel. Quiet and calm around the pool with enough space.

The pool was ice cold and i read earlier that it supposed to be heated.

It's close to the beach but not too close to hear the noise from the bars. The bed was comfortable, as well as the pillows. The pool is nice. And you have pool views from the terrace that is good to have a beer. We asked for a chair for babies and immediately it was in our room which was much appreciated. The kitchen is basic but you have everything you need. The area is curious: there's an Hiperdino and other shops, although the shopping center looks scary.

It's quite old and need a renovation. Looks like for 40 nothing has been repaired. There's a lot of echo from everywhere and you can hear people upstairs going to the bathroom. Can't complain much because our baby is not the most silent creature in the world but knowing that you disturb everybody doesn't help. Oh, and prepare 50 euros in cash before check in. The only ATMs that are close charge a commission of 4 euros (these typical scam ATMs Euronet). Also we booked last minute so for us it was overpriced but generally it would be a good value for money if you don't want to pay much.

All the reception staff where very efficient, friendly, approachable, always had time for the guests, however the cleaner for the landing was vile, got into a strop because I didn't want my apartment cleaned every other day, rude...didn't pass on repairs to maintenance, good amenities, tidy good size pool...clean, located in a good area close to beach and other amenities.

This slightly worn apartment hotel has become dear to us after two stays – my family doesn’t mind the slightly loose sockets, scratches here and there, or other minor imperfections. This hotel even has its own cat! What matters to us is the coziness and the friendly staff. The pool is large and clean, and for this price, the location is the best in Playa del Inglés.

Location is good, around 10/15 minutes walk from town centre (via stairs). Pool area is big and perfect for relaxing. All rooms look toward the pool and balcony is sunny for the whole day. Apartment is quite big to spend comfortably many days relaxing without the necessity of staying out the whole day. Great price for the value!

Kitchen is furnished with bare minimum: still enough to make breakfast or heat and eat food bought elsewhere. Furnitures are very old fashioned, although this is just aesthetic and not a real issue: bed is comfortable and everything is working perfectly. No aircon or fan: temperature was acceptable in November, this might be problematic during hotter months.

The location is great, 5 minutes from the beach, 10 minutes from Yumbo, supermarket 2 minutes away. Check-in was great, we arrived at midday expecting to leave our luggage and check-in at 2pm, however we were told our room was ready and we checked in immediately. I have stayed here once before and had one of the rooms that open onto the pool, I had one of these again and they are great,

I was not expecting the 50 euro deposit on arrival in cash, I probably just didn't read that, but this is new since my last visit. Kettle had a broken lid, toaster broken, bottle opener broken, we got a replacement bottle opener from reception, the others we didn't worry about as this really is value for money.

The staff are so friendly, especially Miguel at reception. The pool area was so relaxing, the barman there is excellent at his job. Location is great, very near the beach and many restaurants. I recommend the Thai restaurant nearby.

It is a little dated and could be cleaner but you pay for what you get.
