All perfect

Reception very friendly and helpful. It was not very clean, but the sheets and towels were clean. The smell in the shower was terrible. Room very spacious. Kitchen was okay.

The noise from the neighbours. no telephone to call reception. Smell in the bathroom.

I had wanted to book Rey Carlos for my 3 night trip but I left my booking a bit late and two of the nights were snapped up at this busy time of year. I was very pleased to spend the last night of my holiday at Rey Carlos, however.. I was on level 5, the top floor. My renovated room was lovely and exceeded my expectations. There was plenty of room and a generously sized kitchen meant I would be happy to stay next time for a week or so as meals could be prepared easily. The bedroom was larger than most in area and even the beds seemed wider and were very comfortable. The checkin staff were very welcoming and clearly communicated everything I needed to know to make the most of my stay. The renovated pool is quite amazing and the PH level seemed just perfect as it was no trouble opening my eyes under water. It seemed quite warm too.

The location is good and some staff are very nice,swimming pool is nice, the restaurant is also very nice.

The room is very old. Towells was with spot's on it (looking old) the sofa from 1 room was very dirty with spot's on it,the fridge was with a towell down. In big the cleaning was not good.I am sorry but I was very despointing. I think the manager should ask for better invest in cleaning. Also is not nice to ask people guarantees becouse you stay there..It was first time when at a hotel ask my credit card as a guarantee and I travel very much around the world.

Location for nightlife and beach great

When trying to stay in room for the extra hours and happy to pay was told to ask on morning of departure to be told no after staff member looked at booking sheet, I could of been told days before when original asked had to wait for a while for keys on two occasions

I was in the hotel for the 4th time. I am satisfied with what it offers, it has a good location, spacious apartments, air conditioning, I don't use the pool, but it seems to be great and popular. Last year the kitchen was a little bit better and breakfast and dinner outside under the palm trees were great. Now again served only in interiors and different menu, but I liked it and they have a good espresso coffee machine.

There is a bit of a problem with insufficiently clean plates for breakfast and dinner.

Location. Comfortable room everything close

The gentleman who cleans the pool area favoured a lot of german tourists and was most unpleasant. He told us towels cannot go down till 10.30,and gave the signal for his german friends they could place theirs down,after removing ours. Main reason as they were a group of around 16 n we happened to put our towels on a lounger that was at their desired spot everyday. But as for the rest of staff,all good.

Fabulous location. Would recommend an upgrade, very dated the standard room. But the upgrade was perfect. The pool areas and the whole hotel was spotless and attention to detail to this. The pool area was quiet during the week, but the weekend was quite busy.

The only thing, they we didn’t like was breakfast. I don’t feel as though English was catered for.

The location was excellent, not far from Yumbo Centre. The breakfast was very good with a great variety of food. The room was large with a sitting room and balcony. The room was much better and bigger than expected.

There was nothing that I did not like.
