Great hostal in the centre of things. Check-in was easy, staff friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the shower had great pressure!! I didn't try the breakfast or the laundry service, but they both looked like good value. Short walk to the cathedral and popular food streets. I felt relaxed there and I'd love to stay again.

There were people walking past at 3am almost every evening shouting and singing (jovial sounds not scary ones!) but that's the compromise to being in a central location so it didnt bother me. Local cafes don't seem to open til at least 8 am, and there is no kettle in the room, so if you're an early riser who likes a tea or coffee, you're out of luck.

We arrived in Santiago during a major eletrical blackout in Spain/Portugal, we were welcomed very well by a very nice staff and managed to handle the processes without any internet access or electricity. Quite a peculiar situation but the way they handled it was super reassuring and comforting, even the next morning they went over their way to make it up for something that was not their fault. Can't say enough good things, after completing a pilgrimage, this was a beacon of humanity and love in a world without eletrical lights!

Hostal Anosa Casa is located on a quiet street, very close to the old town. You can walk to the cathedral and any other turist atraction without any problems. The room and the bathroom were clean, well-equipped and we had enough space to feel comfortable there. You can eat a good, generous and economic breakfast at the hostal but if you prefer going out, there is a nice café El Muelle just in front of the building. Definitely the best part of our stay were the owners. It's not frequent to meet such a lovely, helpful and polite people always ready to talk to you and really caring for your comfort. Thank you a lot for your hospitality!

This hostal is at a perfect location to easily access all of the historic center (and Cathedral) of Santiago de Compostela, and also easily walkable to the bus station (10-15 minutes) and services outside the historic center. It is safe, impeccably clean, and boasts a family home atmosphere - this is not a party hostel. There are electric fans in the rooms which adds to the overall comfort; I also used the efficient and economical laundry service.

We stayed at the hostal for 3 nights after finishing the Camino. The staff was very nice and helpful. Our room was on the smaller side and so was the bathroom. However, it had lots of windows and a balcony, and it was very clean. The breakfast was great with lots of different breakfast items. Since we had to leave early on our departure day, they prepared breakfast for us the night before and brought it our room. This was a very kind and unexpected gesture. Hostal Anosa Casa had an excellent location, about 5 minutes from the Cathedral and 15 minutes on foot from the main train station.

Everything about Anosa Casa was delightful. My Spanish is very limited, and the hosts went out of their way to assist me. Location on the edge of the old city is just perfect. Included breakfast is fresh and delicious. My room was quiet, clean, and very well appointed. The left luggage service was extremely helpful.

No need for any improvements, except in my ability to speak Spanish.

We weren’t too bothered but there were a lot of loud people walking past the hotel late at night in the Saturday night. Something to note for light sleepers.

Anosa Casa is a lovely place to stay. My friend and I stayed after walking the Camino de Santiago. The Hostal is only a short walk from the cathedral. The location is excellent. It is away from the main road, but very close to everything. It was a little noisy at night at times; there just seemed to be people walking by talking very loudly. Not much we could do about that. Otherwise, the front counter staff were very friendly and helpful, the room clean and quite spacious, the bathroom was great. We did have to walk up three flights of stairs with our bags, but the gentleman who checked us in helped, and we knew when we booked that that would be the case. Lots of places to eat within a few minutes walk. All around, a great place to stay in Santiago de Compostela.

The hotel room was comfortable. It was well-designed for three people. It was very clean, and the family who ran the hotel were wonderful. They were friendly and helped us in every way possible. The breakfasts were delicious and made to order! Hotel was conveniently located near the Cathedral and other points of interest.

Extremely clean, bed super comfortable, breakfast was delicious. Being a very old building it didn’t have an elevator and the owner got out of his way to help me by bringing my suitcase upstairs to 4th floor. I would go back at anytime if staying in Santiago near the Cathedral.
