Panoramic room was fantastic. The mighty Eiger greeted our jaw dropping faces every day of our stay and that was an awesome experience. Food in the restaurant was delicious and breakfast offered a a good spread. I like it that there is a room for laundry, ice maker, washer dryer, fridge and ironing board available for longer staying guests like us. It was a big help. Reception lady Claudia gave us a warm welcome and warm send off too. If hotel hospitality is coupled with care and kindness like owners Sandra and Daniel do, who wouldn’t want to come back. We shall return indeed!

The unpredictable weather which was beyond anyone’s control.

I upgraded my stay to a room in the new extension and the layout, comfort and the amenities of the room were excellent. The views from the room of the surrounding mountains was exceptional with the Eiger and Mönch in front and the Lauterbrunnen valley below and on the right. Service was also great and the owners are on site to provide a great experience. The dining terrace, breakfast area and lounge also provide expansive views for those not fortunate enough to stay in the premium rooms.

The washing machine in the new wing has only limited programs and at the time I stayed, any attempt to modify this resulted in a system crash.

Exceptional view at Hotel Edelweiss Superior and the room was very modern, spotlessly clean and classy. It was so spacious too. We didn't want to leave! We were warmly welcomed and the owners husband was a great host throughout our stay. Lots of delicious food at breakfast and the Bircher muesli was excellent! This place is a great location to explore the surrounding areas including visiting the Shiltorn. I also paraglided here which was an incredible experience. We would definitely stay here again.

This is modern, newly built hotel that exemplifies Swiss cleanliness, excellent design and simplicity without sacrificing any comfort. It is a family run establishment which is a big plus. You will most likely be greeted by one of the two owners: Daniel or Sandra. You will also meet then at your morning breakfast (which is a typical excellent Swiss breakfast with a variety of top quality meats, cheeses, eggs and breads). Daniel and Sandra and a hard working, outgoing and friendly couple. Their hard work is clearly reflected in the high quality of their hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are, new, spotless and spacious. Their design is implemented in a way that allows two people to settle in and enjoy the room for a long stay (we were there for four nights). There is a self service washer and dryer (for a reasonable fee) located on the premises. The hotel is in Murren - which is where you should be staying if you are visiting the Jungfrau or the Shilthorn and want to be close to these sites and not have to put up with all of the bus tour crowds that have inundated places like Wengen, Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen. Murren sits at an altitude of approximately 5,500 feet. Our "Premium Double Room Panorama" had a STUNNING and UNFORGETTABLE view of the mountains in front of the Jungfrau, Monch and Eiger peaks which overlook the Lauterbrunnen Valley. Do not be surprised when you see people Hang Gliding past your balcony on their way to a landing in the Lauterbrunnen Valley Don't believe me? Look at the property photo I posted which was taken from our balcony.

There is a "common use"refrigerator down the hall which is shared by 4-5 room guests. it's useable and not crowded, but it would have been nicer and a bit more convenient if a small refrigerator were located in each room.

Superb location, on the edge of a magnificent valley. Incredible views. Warm, welcoming staff. Meals wonderful. Room quite adequate with amazing balcony view.

Room comfortable if a little basic. But who cares with a balcony view like that.....

We had the panoramic view in the superior room. It was breathtaking and right in front of the mountain. we saw paragliders up close. The facility was very Modern, clean and staff friendly. We also enjoyed the breakfast.

The price was the highest of our hotel stays in Switzerland.

Everything exceeded our expectations, very pleased with the service, room and location.

A HUGE pleasant surprise of this wonderful hotel that is run by a family. It looks like an orginarry hotel from the street, but once you step inside the room & restaurant, this holel will "Shock" you! I believe this hotel provides the "BEST" view in the Murren area. Room is modern and well design with huge windows. (We were fortunate to have the corner room.) Breakfast is just "Wonderful". Forget about early hikes! You will love to enjoy the breakfast for hours! Lunch & Dinner quality varies by menu. Some menus are so so qulity, but Highly recommend to try out Filet Steak (400g) and Cheeze Fondue. The restaurant is for "Hotel Guest Only". You will enjoy the private environment. Owner & staff members are extremely friendly and fun to be with. HIGHLY recommend to stay here!

Almost nothing... Everything were just perfect!

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The view from the "superior" rooms was astounding. All of the meals were top notch. The staff was excellent. I had an issue starting the clothes dryer and I called the front desk. They came to the laundry room within one minute to help me. As it turned out, I didn't close the door completely. Operator error!

If the balcony extended another foot or two and had a more comfortable chair I may have sat on it for my entire stay and never left the hotel room! Even though it's fairly narrow, I did sit out there for hours enjoying the views.

From the staff to the view, this hotel was absolutely phenomenal and everything we were looking for in our retreat to Mürren. (We came from Los Angeles, CA.) we stayed two nights and were disappointed we didn’t book another! The check-in was seamless, the breakfast was delicious with a nice variety, and the rooms were clean and with an amazing view. I do not know when we will be fortunate enough to come back to this amazing country, but when we do, I have no doubt we will plan our entire trip around outstay in Mürren and at Hotel Edelweiss Superior.
