This hotel’s location is truly fantastic, as it is situated directly in front of Mürren BLM Station, so there is no need to walk a long distance while pulling heavy luggage. Our party consisted of six people—four stayed in a family room, and the other two stayed in a separate room. The family room had a balcony and was equipped with one queen bed and two single beds, which comfortably accommodated four people. The room was spacious, very clean, and the bedding and furnishings were all well-prepared and in excellent condition. From the balcony, we had a clear view of the Silberhorn and the Jungfrau mountain behind it. The balcony offered a splendid view of the beautiful landscape of Mürren. All the front desk staff were very kind. The breakfast at the hotel was also of high quality. There was a wide variety of food, and everything was very fresh. During breakfast, a waiter came to each table to take drink orders, such as coffee, tea, or hot chocolate (included in the breakfast). The view from the breakfast restaurant windows was also wonderful. Our entire family was extremely satisfied with our stay.

There is nothing in particular that I would point out as disappointing.

Last evening in Eiger Hotel, Murren. First time here, skiing holiday with my two grown up children. I was expecting to stay in a nice, clean hotel, good breakfast and all amenities. But the place appeared to be so much more! On our first evening we were met at the station and taken to our room. The kitchen managed to squeeze us in, despite the late hour. We were tired, having arrived late as our flight was delayed. Meeting us and feeding us was a lovely welcome. Beautiful hotel, very clean and friendly, good breakfast and dinner, very good wine card. Great location, Murren is a quaint little fairy tale village. The hotel is run by a family' nth generation, which is, sadly, so rare these days! But here owners are working together with the hotel staff every day. It was so heartwarming and wonderful to see that. Thank you!

This family-run hotel is impeccably managed, and the attention to detail is evident throughout. The relaxation room is a standout feature, offering a serene escape that is as astounding as it is rejuvenating. The Eiger is more than a hotel—it’s a destination in itself. Highly recommended for anyone seeking luxury, warmth, and unparalleled alpine beauty.

The hotel was lovely, the views absolutely incredible, but it was the desk and breakfast staff that blew us away with their friendliness! Champagne breakfast with all sorts of continental options, and excellent coffee! Large rooms, hotel porter to fetch you from the gondola, beautiful indoor swimming pool and sauna area and a very good restaurant. Parked at Stechelberg and it cost $20 for two nights, the gondola costs $11 from Stechelberg to Murren. Highly recommend walking down to Grimmelberg from Murren, only about 3km and on a small tarred road but stunning views. Gondola from Grimmelberg to Stechelberg then only $6.

Couldn’t fault it

Our stay in Murren was exceptional. Everything, from the moment we arrived, was perfection!! The female owner spent a significant amount of time ensuring we had all of our plans laid out and made the most of our time there. It was incredibly clean, tremendous amenities and amazing service. One of a kind stay!

The ONLY thing I wish had been different was finding out there was champagne available that was included in the cost for the amazing breakfast sooner the last day :-)

Not your fault, but perhaps staff should check on the pool area -some guests were disruptive, even dangerous and misused the area & other guests. Breakfast was average but the coffee and service were excellent

Everything was amazing! Beautiful location and very friendly, happy and helpful staff. A lovely buffet breakfast and the food for dinner was absolutely fantastic. A truly wonderful stay.

The only thing that would have been good to have, was tea and coffee facilities in our room. After long day travelling, it would have been a nice thing to have and relax when we got there.

Rooms, view, staff, amenities, restaurants - all were amazing! The hotel has been there for years, and they've managed to keep the charm and history, while making updates to keep guest happy (ex - the pool / spa area is beautiful!)

There are quite a few stairs which is a bit challenging with luggage. BUT please note the staff is always willing to help there. I'm only writing this as more text is required in the response. :)

Staff went out of their way to assist with whatever request you had. They meet you at the train station and take your luggage to your room. Front desk will handle all your questions and reservations. Staff will even deliver your skis to the start of the slope so you don't have to carry them. Super helpful and friendly!

Breakfast was superb and overthetop with choices and quality; staff went over and above to make sure we were having a good time and accomodate us; they made us feel so welcome; loved the room and space; nice atmosphere

the beds were a bit harder than I am used to; I woke up with a back ache
