This property exudes luxury. Beautifully renovated rooms in a very old, culturally significant building with extraordinary views. The addition of the spa area just puts it over the top. Oh wait, maybe it was the fine dining and unparalleled service at the bar and in the dining room or maybe it was the fresh croissants and cakes at the breakfast buffet daily. Lol. Loved this hotel and its fun loving employees. I hope to return one day for a ski trip.

Everything was great.

The hotel was recently refurbished. Common areas and the rooms are all very tastefully decorated. The view from our room was spectacular, down the valley towards Wengen. Use of the spa facilities in the new adjoining sports centre is a nice touch but we wonder how it will be during busy ‘off school’ times.

The service should be better in a hotel of this standard. Friendly enough at reception but lacking some finesse, like having your bags taken to the room, taking away the ironing board left outside the room, for example. The coffee machine didn’t work and wasn’t fixed after reporting. Poached eggs (admittedly not on the menu (why not?)) took almost an hour.

Spectacular views. Excellent staff who went out of their way to be helpful. Tasty breakfasts with a variety of food that set you up for activity filled days. The hotel has recently been renovated and has been finished to a high standard. We made use of the pool facilities after long days of walking. Our room was very spacious and we loved the whirlpool on the deck. We felt so relaxed and rejuvenated after three nights stay it felt like we had been there for a week. Would highly recommend.

Very nice hotel….but the town itself was very limited in commercial offerings….very boring shops and mediocre restaurants at extremely high prices. The best place in town was the supermarket.

The town’s mediocre commercial offerings at high prices. If you’ve travelled frequently, you might find many of the local business operators in town to be generally disinterested in the way they do business or provide service. Certainly a disconnect from the well run Murren Palace hotel.

Fantastic hotel, in a stunningly beautiful place. The newly renovated hotel is magnificent. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Our stay was wonderful and would definitely consider returning.

Swiss prices… Everything in Switzerland is super expensive and the Mürren Palace is no different. That said, their prices were not much higher than anywhere else in Switzerland. The hotel needs its own pool rather than using the village pool.

We absolutely love Mürren, and we were so happy to find such a beautifully renovated hotel. Most hotels in the area tend to be quite old. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite and absolutely loved the decor and the spacious balcony with its stunning view. We can’t wait to go back!

The dinners were excellent but I found the breakfast a bit lacking. The variety was limited, possibly because the hotel is still very new. I’m sure it will be even better if they expand the options.

The new decor was lovely. The room was spacious. The staff were all very cordial . Location was great. Shuttle to the train station was helpful

The lighting on the rooms was too confusing . The main disappointment was the Palace dining room. Service was very inexperienced , and the food didn’t meet expectations for such a place . Staff were all very polite and pleasant but they seemed to be struggling

Beautiful, newly renovated hotel, very short walk from the Mürren station. Staff was very helpful, beautiful spa with saunas, steam room and cold plunge pools. Massages were great and on site restaurant and bar were wonderful. Would highly recommend!

Some lounge chairs outside would be a wonderful addition!

Fantastic location with beautiful mountain views. Rooms were spotless, facilities well-maintained, and the staff went above and beyond to be helpful. Everything about the stay was comfortable and enjoyable — would happily return.
