Very well located for subway and main train station to the airport. Very clean, bed comfortable, shower great.

No kettle in the room, so needed to bring two cups of boiling water upstairs from the lobby to make a tea in the room in the morning. Charges for a teabag for a morning brew! The fridge looked like a fridge but wasn't cold, so couldn't keep anything fresh in it.

Fantastic hotel in a great location - walking distance to Taipei Main Station (less than 10 minutes) for easy access to and from Taoyuan International Airport. Also less than 10 minutes away from the bustling Ximending district, which means there's always food and nightlife available. Super clean, very comfortable bed, with blackout blinds to ensure you can get a really good knockout type of sleep. Two free bottles of water every day, and the ability to control everything in the room, including your cleaning service, via the iPad in the room.

Not really a con because the location really is excellent but if you're looking to have convenience stores or food LITERALLY on your doorstep, you'll have to walk a little bit for those (5 to 7 minutes tops). Hotel is very quiet!

The most mesmerising smelling lobby and common lounge area, EVER. The decor is fabulous and very contemporary, young and pop art centric. The cafe is great with amazing vegetarian options and great cocktails and coffee. The most amazing part was the location. The hotel is maximum 1-2 bus stops away from Ximending area or a maximum 10-15 mins walk away. The room was well appointed and cozy. We loved that it was controlled by an iPad. It felt super cool.

The quality of bed linen and bath linens could be improved to improve the overall sleep and stay quality.

Breakfast is nice. simple and filling for stomach. the hotel is clean. Also walking distance from ximending and underground mall but nearby hotel not much food choices

Located at Beimen Station, between Main Train Station and the lively Ximending. Only 20-30 Minutes by foot to main attractions as Liberty Square or Dihua Street. The hotel is modern, clean and its personal is very friendly and willing to help. Super quick check-in and check-out. We had a room at top floor with view on the river. Great! The room is not big but the layout and the big window give an impression of space. Fancy smart light system. We love the colorful and modern deco. Very cosy place to drink a glass after discovering the city.

The breakfast is good but for bigger groups there is only one big table. We were lucky and were able to eat all together. The cocktail choice can be improved.

The room was small but well organised. We could chose the location of the room on check in. The wall had a picture window with a great view of Ximen. The room was controlled through the ipad or app which was great as easy to close blinds and operate lights and temperature. The shower was good. The bed was very big and comfortable. The bar was nice and food ok. Really brilliant location for the MRT.

The room was too small for our stay of five days. One suitcase could fit in the drawer but the other had to stay on the floor and there was not enough drawers or hangers to put our things away. There were no facilities for making a hot drink in the room. It would be better to have breakfast included.

Excellent location, and CitizenM really lived up to it's mission to provide affordable luxury for modern travelers. Absolutely love the room with its one-iPad-to-rule-it-all method, and staff are always courteous and very helpful.

There's really very little to dislike about the place. It would be great to have a bidet in the toilet (completely understand that it is a cultural thing), a water station to refill our water bottles, and better selection for English content on the TV. Everything else is nothing shy of excellent!

The room felt so cozy and I loved the big window. It was also great having the iPad to control everything - altho it was a bit slow to wake up each time. The location was super handy for the main Taipei stations. The soundproofed windows were fantastic, I slept really well and really enjoyed all the natural light.

I would’ve preferred a human to check me in rather than a computer - although there was someone available to support when needed. As mentioned in many reviews, there’s very little in the way of suitcase space, and a bedside table and charger would be handy. You can’t charge and sit in bed at the same time, which is important to be able to do when you’ve been travelling and are trying to work out what to do in a new city.
