Very well located for subway and main train station to the airport. Very clean, bed comfortable, shower great.

No kettle in the room, so needed to bring two cups of boiling water upstairs from the lobby to make a tea in the room in the morning. Charges for a teabag for a morning brew! The fridge looked like a fridge but wasn't cold, so couldn't keep anything fresh in it.

Fantastic hotel in a great location - walking distance to Taipei Main Station (less than 10 minutes) for easy access to and from Taoyuan International Airport. Also less than 10 minutes away from the bustling Ximending district, which means there's always food and nightlife available. Super clean, very comfortable bed, with blackout blinds to ensure you can get a really good knockout type of sleep. Two free bottles of water every day, and the ability to control everything in the room, including your cleaning service, via the iPad in the room.

Not really a con because the location really is excellent but if you're looking to have convenience stores or food LITERALLY on your doorstep, you'll have to walk a little bit for those (5 to 7 minutes tops). Hotel is very quiet!

The most mesmerising smelling lobby and common lounge area, EVER. The decor is fabulous and very contemporary, young and pop art centric. The cafe is great with amazing vegetarian options and great cocktails and coffee. The most amazing part was the location. The hotel is maximum 1-2 bus stops away from Ximending area or a maximum 10-15 mins walk away. The room was well appointed and cozy. We loved that it was controlled by an iPad. It felt super cool.

The quality of bed linen and bath linens could be improved to improve the overall sleep and stay quality.

Only 10–15 minutes to Taipei Main Station, 10–15 minutes to Ximending, and just 2 minutes to reach the city’s business district. • Outstanding staff – the reception team is exceptionally helpful, and the cleaner on the 5th floor took incredible care of our room every single day. • Comfortable and modern rooms – while not overly spacious, the room had everything we needed. The facilities were modern and cozy, the shower was fantastic, and the city view from our window was simply beautiful.

Located at Beimen Station, between Main Train Station and the lively Ximending. Only 20-30 Minutes by foot to main attractions as Liberty Square or Dihua Street. The hotel is modern, clean and its personal is very friendly and willing to help. Super quick check-in and check-out. We had a room at top floor with view on the river. Great! The room is not big but the layout and the big window give an impression of space. Fancy smart light system. We love the colorful and modern deco. Very cosy place to drink a glass after discovering the city.

The breakfast is good but for bigger groups there is only one big table. We were lucky and were able to eat all together. The cocktail choice can be improved.

Easy and fast check in process. Location of hotel very convenient for travelling around Taipei but also if you needed to take public transport around other cities in Taiwan. Rooms were kept very clean and room service arranged my plushy on the bed really nicely which was very thoughtful of them. The city view of our room was beautiful and definitely worth the price.

Nothing much to comment here but between certain hours people do come to clean windows from the outside so just have to be a bit more cautious about privacy. For us it’s not a big deal as we wouldn’t be in the hotel room during those hours, but I can see that it could be a small inconvenience for some people in regard to privacy. The hotel does have a sheet informing you of this though.

I stayed at the CitizenM Hotel in Taipei recently, and overall, it was a pretty good experience. The location is great—really central and easy to get around the city. My room was nice, modern, and the bed was huge, which I totally loved. The best part was definitely waking up to the view from the bed—it was so nice just lying there looking out. Breakfast was ok, nothing special but fair for the price. Loved the little detail of AM / PM versions of shower gel and the super efficient check in check out!!!

There were a couple of things I didn’t like. The handwash basin being in the room itself felt a bit weird, even though I guess it looked quite stylish. It just wasn’t very practical. Also, while I was able to leave my luggage there after checkout, it didn’t feel super safe. There’s no proper storage space for it—it’s just left in the lobby area behind some rope, and it looked messy with all the bags piled up. It didn’t really feel secure at all.

Even though it was late at night, the person at the self-check-in desk was very helpful. We took the elevator up to our room and the corridor was very dark and hard to see the room numbers. When we got to our room and it was nice inside. It had some colorful lights in the bathroom ceiling which you could adjust to your liking using their iPad Mini on the desk. It was a very efficient layout of space. The bed was up against the walls which gave you more space to walk around the unit. In the morning, there was a fantastic city view out towards the river. The fun part about the views were not only the distant views but watching the moped traffic at the street intersection buzzing around and jockeying for position.

Our plane arrived late at night, took the MRT from the airport to Taipei Main Station, walked through the multi-levels of the train station, and found out that there was some construction and had to exit out onto the street. It was hard to get your bearings late at night but we found the hotel with its big red sign above. The front door was hard to find from the main street. It was sort of tucked away around the corner. Hotel location was great but the front door was a little hard to find late at night.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED MY STAY! It was the highlight of my trip. I would keep thinking that I cannot wait to go back to my hotel room, take a hot shower and just lie on the bed. It was that comfy, and the view, THE VIEW, is perfect!!!! I had a smooth self-check-in. I love the interiors in the hotel and in the room. It was very clean. The location was right in between Ximending and Taipei Main Station, about 6-8 mins. walk. I loved using the iPad control in the room. :) The bed and pillows were so comfy and there's even an extra pillow under the bed. I WOULD COME BACK AND STAY HERE AGAIN!

I wish that I could've stayed even longer. :)
