Room (on top floor, 6) with riverview&balcony was spacious, has a great bed and a big balcony with planters, iron furniture, and !excellent! view of the Chao Praya. The pool was very nice, and if you don't have a room with a river view, you can take it in from the pool/restaurant/garden area. The restaurant was actually good, no need to dine out if you don't want to. Breakfast buffet was ok. Great location in Bangkok!

We would not have liked the 2nd floor rooms with view&balcony as much.. Those have way smaller balconies and no privacy at all, see picture

Breakfast is very good. The chef at breakfast is great. The view is wonderful. The pool is nice. The interior of the rooms is a bit old but okay. It is great to be able to smoke on the balcony.

The price could be a little more affordable.

I liked the * cosiness, calming atmosphere, and soft lighting all over the sitting room, and indoor and outdoor dining areas, * staff who were all very polite and friendly, * pool and pool area was great, very clean, * location, particularly the proximity to the water taxi pier, made getting around Old Bangkok easy, * breakfast buffet was adequate, and the restaurant food was good, * room, although small, had comfortable beds and good air conditioning, * lift worked well, and * private (non affiliated) tour operator was trustworthy in providing us a private car tour to Sadauk Floating Market and Maeklong Railway Market (7 hrs round trip).

I didn't like the * flying bugs in our room that got into our snacks, drinking glasses and cups, * shower rose and hose should be replaced with a better solution as the direction of the rose was dictated by the twist of the hose - the only way to rinse off properly is to hold the rose to hand shower, a minor inconvenience but any improvements would be really nice, and * extractor fan was weak, takes a long time to clear the air in the bathroom especially after a #2 with 3 people needing to go in succession. The extractor fan definitely needs an upgrade.

Location was excellent, top floor room with riverside balcony had a very spacious balcony with a table and chairs. The staff were not over-engaged with guests, but they were very helpful when needed. It's a very short walk from restaurants and shops on Rambutri Lane. There is a large safe in the rooms, and the hotel felt very secure.

The room and the hotel as a whole were a little shabby, could do with a lick of paint.

Location!! Right on the river so that you can take the hop on, hop off boats so easily to anywhere. We have stayed here before and would definitely stay again for the location, the friendly staff, great breakfast and clean room with comfy bed. Close to lots of foot massages places! Pool is wonderful and refreshing. Can walk to Khao San street and night market and good restaurants.

This is backpack district with numerous weed shops, but we felt perfectly safe in this lively area and it’s night market. The hotel is very quiet by the river.

Location was great, short walk to Khao San Road. We were a group of 6 (3 couples). We and one other couple had river view balcony rooms on level 6 which were comfortable with large balconies and a great view of the river. Our other friends were on level 2 in river view balcony room, their balcony was smaller than ours but their room was bigger. Rooms were quite soundproof, given the river traffic. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast had a good selection. We would definitely stay here again. We all brought the workers that were re grouting the pool a beer each on one of the very hot days. They were extremely grateful and happy, even the hotel staff were appreciative of gesture.

The pool was out of use our entire stay due to re grouting, but we were able to use a sister hotels pool across the road, so was not really an issue.

Location direct at the river, very friendly staff and honest ( paid a drink at the bar, gave a banknote of 1000 bath assuming it was a 100 bath banknote and staff reacted correctly, thanks ). Had a double room facing river with balcony, requested early check in that was approved. Bathroom with bathtub and separate shower corner. Wooden floor, no carpet , so no dust of allergic issues. Balcony with nice overview of swimming pool and Chaya Praya river on the back. Nice swimming pool, breakfast buffet. Location easily reachable by shuttle boats. A lot of restaurants around, and Khao Pansa waiting for the ones that like it..

Wifi needs fix, cuts of all the time, reconnecting gave too much issues, unfortunately. Tv in the room was malfunctioning but that was not a great miss. There are only a few car parking lots, if come by car that might be an issue, parking on first come basis, so better leave your car at home, the whole area has almost no car parkings available. Location far away from BTS or MRT.

Stayed here for 5 nights at the end of Feb. Loved it. Location superb, right alongside the river, the outdoor restaurant & pool setting is magic & unforgettable, especially the tables in the little upstairs part. We visited Chatuchak Market, IconSiam, Grand Palace, Reclining Buddha, Lumpini Park, Rajadamnern Stadium & Central World, all reasonably short journeys by grab taxi or tuk tuk. Service excellent, staff lovely, helpful & friendly & good English. For a small charge they stored a large suitcase of ours while we went to Phuket for a week & came back for 1 night, and they also kindly looked after all of our bags, free of charge on the day we left as we had a night flight. Breakfast is great, lots of choices to suit all cultures, very fresh & clean (all food covered & no flies in sight). We had 2 dinners at the restaurant, which were both amazing, lovely food and great value & unforgettable experience sitting under the upstairs gazebo area at night watching all the colourful river boats go by. We had 2 rooms (1 double & 1 with 2 single beds). The double had a huge comfortable bed & very fresh clean linen. The room has all you need. They are basic and rated 3 stars, which is appropriate. The price is also reflected in the 3 stars. (Those who have given poor reviews have not taken into account the star rating and should have stayed somewhere else 4 or 5 stars). The service & riverside restaurant & pool setting more than makes up for the basic older rooms. Would definitely always stay here when visiting Bangkok and highly recommend 👌👍😊❤️

Wonderful hotel with fabulous location right on the river. The beautiful pool with blooming trees surrounding and the lovely breakfast area are literally on the river, and the hotel is a 2-minute walk to the closest tourist and local boat pier to get to all the sites along the river. Khao San road is a 5-10 minute walk away, and there is an amazing tourist area with lovely restaurants, shops, etc a minute or two away. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions. Breakfast was really complete with western and Asian options, one of the better ones we had on our trip. Rooms were lovely and clean, bathrobes and pool towels supplied. Exceptional value for the price, would highly recommend to anyone.
