Breakfast, location, room, pool. Everything. But I didn't realise until I had left. From here I want to Ibis Nimman Journeyman and realised how good I'd had it at the Mercure. The Ibis was more expensive so I thought it would be better. Everything was brand spanking new but the rooms are tiny, the pool not as nice and the breakfast not as nice either. The location was VERY Expensive. I highly recommend booking into the Mercure and staying there before they renovate and increase the prices.

The place was tired, becoming in need of renovation.

The hotel is very spacious and clean, It is well located within walking distance of the old city and the staff are very pleasant and friendly. My room was very comfortable.

I was disappointed with the restaurant. I ate there twice in the evening during my stay and was the only one there. The food was rather bland and overpriced. The dining room itself is spacious and attractive. I think there is a lot of potential to upgrade the menu at reasonable prices to attract diners - both hotel guests and local Thai people.

Rooms are specious and clean.

Some guests are very noisy. Some staff members need to be more attentive as I was waiting for my luggage for one hour, did not arrive until I called the reception to remind them. We rented 2 rooms, one was not ready. Same thing as my luggage, did not inform us that the room was ready until I called them and asked. Guests usually travelled for 20-24 hours, wanted to rest , patiently waiting for the room with no response from the staff members.

This is my 2nd time to stay at Mercure CNX. i feel comfortable from my first stay . All of my request were take care of and provided, Thank you!! Thank you for birthday cake for my mom too !!! Appreciate the effort of each and every one of the individual who attended to my request and provided them through a team of excellent staff, from the front office, bell service, housekeeping and citrus team!!!

shower room - takes sometimes for water to completely go the drainage and subside.

Everything was brilliant - staff in particular excellent. Room was spacious (we had an extra wide double bed). Restaurant food was excellent and well priced. Staff in restaurant excellent. Staff at reception excellent. Bed very comfortable!

Just dated - this is not the fault of the staff, the owners need to invest to modernise. Very sad to see the hotel so dated. Swimming pools excellent was so cold - anyway to warm it a little?

The hotel is superb! The beds are comfortable, the rooms are big, shower was hot and powerful. The staff are exceptionally helpful and speak good English. The pool is nice and towels provided. Free shuttle to night bizarre, Jing Jai market and walking street. Paid for airport shuttle. Breakfast is outstanding with a huge variety and choice. There is a big supermarket next door, and a cabaret place. Id definitely stay again.

Apart from breakfast which is fabulous, the restaurant food is expensive for what it is. 200 Baht for a tiny pizza, not really good value, but there are tonnes of places to eat, so no need to eat there anyway! Location is slightly out of the square, but 100Baht in a 5 minute Tuk Tuk gets you to Thapae Gate or the night bizarre, so no big problem Id definitely stay here again.

I thought the breakfast was really good. The food tasted very good and there was plenty to choose from. For location, it was very close to the city center and easy to get around on a TukTuk. My girlfriend and I walked to and from the city center to go to the night market, coffee shops and restaurants. The city center was only around 500m away.

All was good. I was very happy with our stay at The Mercure.

The location is good, close to the Chiang Mai Boxing Stadium. It was an advantage to have a car for this location, and there is extensive parking available. The breakfasts were-well presented and enjoyable with interesting Thai-style options. The room was comfortable and commodious with good AC. The swimming pool is great.

There is nowhere to put damp towels and swimming costumes apart from a small peg on the back of the bathroom door. It seems odd not to have any towel rails at all and it's not possible to place towels etc on top of the glass walls of the shower since these extend to the ceiling.

Bed was comfortable and breakfast was yummy, but the staff make this place they are so helpful attentive and kind, also good location being right next to the supermarket and great food and massage.

It's dated and at one pint they had this huge French group show up which was problematic just because I couldn't get up and down in the elevator for that day and the stairs only take you to the second floor, again though this is not their fault and I enjoyed staying here.

Breakfast was very good I had a omelette most days which was cooked fresh. I liked the location as I got a good nights sleep and wasn’t fat from the local street food , which even with a shell fish allergy I managed fine. Although a little dated I would return
