Kibb and the rest of the staff are what makes this place feel like you’re staying with family in the best possible way. They are so friendly with picking you up and dropping you off at the airport. The room is so clean and comfortable. With so many nearby attractions is an easy walkable location. By far one of my favorite places I’ve stayed based on the hospitality, quality, and comfort. Chiang Mai is such a special place with so much charm and Thongran’s House exemplifies that. They put so much care into each guest and their home. They share Chiang Mai with each of their guest and why I would recommend anyone to stay here. Even upon our departure the staff have given us a small gift to remember our stay with a small letter to wish us safe travels.

Staying at Thongran's House has been an amazing experience. The hosts are wonderfull persons, taking care of all your needs (even without you demand for them). We stayed there 3 days with our 1 year old baby (who is really an as lovely as a noisy troublemaker) and we received a lot of help and comprehension from the staff. The room was super clean and the staff is cleaning it all the day, the position is perfect and you have quick access to the city, restaurants, markets, temples, ... whatever you may ask for in the wonderfull ity of Chang Mai. We are definitively look to stay here again when coming back to Chang Mai. Super recommended.

Very cute, family-run boutique hotel (or BnB, whatever you want to call it). Super super clean. It has everything you need, staff is great and very helpful. The location is the true highlight, basically you are in the exact center of the old town, and everything (literally) is 10-15 min walking distance. If you don't have much time to spend in Chiang mai and therefore you want to be close to everything, this is the perfect place. Thanks again to the host, who let us leave the luggage before check-in and after check out, gave us extra towels for our elephant trip, and let us take a shower after we did our check out. Super super recommended!

Nothing, our stay was spotless

Thongran's House was located in the center of the Old Town, convenient to many restaurants and attractions. The room was comfortable and quiet. Just a few steps outside our door was the upstairs outdoor terrace. This is where breakfast was served. We took advantage of this option twice during our six night stay. We had multiple menu choices, and both meals that were served were excellent. (I especially enjoyed the pancakes with fresh fruit and honey.)

We felt like home away from home! They had what we needed with all essentials, very clean room and fresh smelling bathroom. After each long day, it’s just very inviting and comfortable to settle in! ..And surprisingly, they provide a couple of glass bottled ozonated water daily! Which I think was something special, no PFAs! Ms. Kibb was very hospitable, started with a very personalized pick up service at the airport, made necessary arrangements with our activities during our stay and just pleasant and easy to talk to making suggestions exactly just as we wanted! Can’t ask for a better host!

We had an amazing stay at Thongran's House in Chiang Mai! The location was just perfect, centrally located with lots of fun restaurants, cafes, shopping and markets close by. Kibb and her family were wonderful, helpful, warm and friendly. We loved getting to know the cat and dog as well! And having breakfast each morning on the upper balcony was wonderful. The food was delicious and we loved hearing all the birds and sounds of the town around us while we ate. We were a family of eight adults and every one of us would absolutely return and stay here again! Kibb arranged airport pickup and drop offs for us, as well as a driver for a full-day outing we planned. The rooms were all very comfortable and spacious and clean. Super comfortable beds and great AC! We highly recommend staying here!

The hotel itself is very comfortable and pretty, you feel right at home. But in addition to that the staff are the best - so kind and lovely. We really enjoyed that there were 2 cats and a dog as well! We will be staying here again because we loved it so much.

As many have mentioned, the staff is exceptionally kind and helpful. We had two rooms for our family - they were next to each other, well equipped, and everything was very clean. The location is right in the center, but extremely quiet. We appreciated everything! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The owner was so kind.I was pretty ill when I got here and she really looked after me.This little budget hotel was the perfect place to rest and recover.Its in the heart of the old city but down a quiet little alley so it's really peaceful, no street noise at all.Theres a beautiful terrace and balcony with a beautiful view of the wat.A lot of beautiful plants, flowers and bird feeders.The bed was really comfortable and the water hot.Also they clean every day.You are close to a lot of great Thai and western restaurants.Just a really great place at a bargain price.She even gave me a ride to the airport!

Truly wonderful and friendly staff. The inn is run by extremely thoughtful and polite staff who are happy to do everything possible to make your stay delightful. The location is great for walking all over the old city.

Nothing really. The wooden floors creak here and there, and that might be troublesome for very light sleepers.
