Amazing Experience at Chala 6 in Chiang Mai We recently stayed at Chala 6 for six unforgettable days, and I can't recommend this hotel enough. From start to finish, every detail was thoughtfully executed, making our trip a truly first-class experience. Service: The staff were incredibly attentive, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their warm smiles, quick response to any request, and genuine hospitality added so much to our stay. Amenities: The amenities were exceptional. One standout feature was the *unlimited mini-bar*, which felt like a rare treat and a delightful surprise. Whether it was the luxurious pool, the well-equipped gym, or the beautifully maintained common areas, everything was top-notch. Location: The hotel's location is unbeatable—within walking distance of Chiang Mai’s major shopping centers, iconic tourist sites, and a vibrant café and restaurant scene. We particularly loved exploring the nearby markets and temples, all just a stone's throw away. Value for Money: While the hotel may be on the pricier side, I firmly believe it’s worth every penny. The premium experience, attention to detail, and unbeatable convenience made it a worthwhile splurge. Also I nearly forgot the FREE afternoon tea by the pool everyday from 2pm to 4pm Overall, Chala 6 exceeded our expectations in every way. If you're considering a trip to Chiang Mai and want to treat yourself to a luxurious, hassle-free stay, this hotel should be at the top of your list. My only complaint was gaining weight during our 5 days

This is a really beautiful hotel with lots of lovely little touches to make your stay more special. The staff are friendly and helpful, the location is great and although it is a bit more than I usually pay (partly because it was Chinese New Year) it was worth the money. There were snacks and drinks in the room and the food was nice at the restaurant. A very relaxing stay, close to lots of temples. The Sunday market outside the hotel was an added bonus! I loved my stay and would stay here again.

The staff are very helpful and friendly. The food is great and the location is perfect. My room and bed is very comfortable, clean and like new. The shower is strong and the toilet is 1st class with seat warmer and bidet. The rooms are quiet. This is simply the best hotel in Chiang Mai. The Sunday markets are directly outside the hotel. You can’t get a better location.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Really an oasis amidst the busy city life of Chiang Mai. We had a lovely room with direct access to the garden and pool which was a nice bonus as well. The complimentary afternoon tea was beyond expectations and the staff was always there if you needed them.

Some minor things like service at the pool, but really not worth mentioning. Overall it’s a really nice place to stay.

The hotel is truly beautiful. The pool area is spectacular, almost surreal. The staff are wonderful, very polite and helpful. When we checked into our room it had no window, so without natural light it wasn't very pleasing to be in. We spoke to reception and negotiated a better room which was excellent. The room was bright, very clean with a great shower and air con. The hotel location is superb. You step out the door and a huge golden temple is across the street. 7-11 next door and lots of cafes and massage places. 10 minute walk to the big gate and heart of shopping etc.

Our biggest let down was the lack of places to put your things in our room. Nowhere in the bathroom to put toiletries around the sink and we had to live out of Suitcases as there was no space to put our clothes. We were on the side of the hotel next to the school which woke us every morning at 7am, it was very noisy. Food in the hotel was expensive and very average. Tasteless breakfast. Afternoon tea is put on every day, a nice touch, but again the food isn't great. Cons aside, the hotel is so beautiful we would stay again. Next time we will ask for a quiet room.

Fabulous location so central you just walk out the front door and you are in the Sunday market street! The breakfast and afternoon tea options are plentiful and delicious. We did order coffees from the espresso machine out the front as it was more to our liking than the self serve machine in the restaurant. They delivered them to our table too!

Perfect location in center of old town easy to walk to restaurants, shops & bars. The staff all were extremely helpful and quick to respond. The spa massage was great & clean. Rooms were well kept and cleaned. Breakfast definitely leaves more to be desired (ants crawling all over), pool area & bar are lovely but very buggy and more of a view than was able to enjoy unfortunately (which could be due to time of year)

Location in Old Town - perfect for temples, restaurants, bars, transport Breakfast was excellent and very comprehensive - ate way too much considering afternoon tea (incuded in the price) was from 14:00 to 16:00 providing high quality savoury and sweet snacks. Room - free mini bar and snacks, replenished every day. Fresh towels every day. Bed very comfortable

There is nothing we didn't like.

I have no words for this hotel. I would literally stay here every single time and I plan on it. This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at in general. I highly recommend this hotel for couples, families, friends, or by yourself it could not be any more perfect. Don’t even bother looking any further.

There was not a single thing I didn’t like I was beyond satisfied, and I had the best experience I have ever had.

Clean, comfortable room. Excellent mini bar and snacks that we could use for free and were replenished. Staff were kind, attentive and nothing was too much trouble The free tea and snacks by the pool were a lovely surprise and we did this every day We were allowed to use the pool and have tea even after checking out. The location was the best! We could walk everywhere with a Temple across the road and many coffee shops, massage places and shops located within walking distance. The Sunday walking market was literally outside the door and we loved that we could walk out and be in the middle of this.

The extremely pungent smell of the perfume used by the hotel was totally overpowering. They were very responsive in removing it and even putting an ozone machine in the room to try and remove the odour. But the over use of these scents in the hotel was really unpleasant. In the bathroom by the pool it was so bad it made me feel ill. This is actually something that may make me not book again as it was really bad for me.
