Location and friendly staffs

Bed is too firm for me, and bad soundproofing.

Very clean hotel which is very well located within Chiang Mai old town, which despite this we heard no road noise or anything as it is on a quiet back road. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, well equipped with water every day and with a good balcony with a rack to dry things after using the pool. The pool was very clean and well looked after. We were able to leave our bags with them after check out which was very helpful. So good that we came back after a few days.

Breakfast was good although plenty of nice breakfast restaurants nearby.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lampbu House! -The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. -Food was surprisingly good and very affordable. -The location and facilities made it well worth the price. -They offer bike rentals for just 60 baht—great for exploring nearby temples. -The breakfast/lounge area was airy and relaxing. -Our room had plenty of space and comfort. -Conveniently located—walking distance to 7-Eleven, restaurants, spas, and a few temples.

- Hotel Restaurant is only available until 17:30 -There were some repairs happening near the pool during our stay in June 2025, so a bit of sawdust sometimes made its way in. -Since we had a pool view, it could get a little noisy during the day when kids were playing—nothing major, but worth mentioning. -There’s no elevator, so if stairs are an issue, it’s best to request a room on the ground floor. -Bed can be a little to firm and uncomfy but it gets the job done

The staff were friendly and the location is perfect for the night market and the historic temple. There is a ton to do within walking distance. The access to the pool from the room was awesome. It is like a little oasis and you would not know you are in the center of a city. The accomodations were comfortable and clean.

Pool accessibility is challenging if you aren't very mobile. There is only one ladder in and out and it has no grip. It was difficult to enjoy our patio because smoking is allowed on your patio and it wafts over into other rooms and spaces. It would be nice if there was a smoking area so our room didn't smell like smoke.

Location was amazing, off a super quiet road right in the mix of the Sunday night market and temples. The facilities were amazing - we hired the hotel bikes/locks and cycled to the monks trail which worked well and was really enjoyable for less than 100TBH for 24hours. The shower was hot for us. There was a launderette a few doors down. The hotel also provided us with a packup breakfast for our day trip to the mountains. We enjoyed unwinding after our days with a cocktail the staff took to the poolside. Super chill vibes, clean hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Really recommend. Near to several 7-11's and great internet connection.

Ugh I could’ve stayed here another few days. The staff was so friendly and helpful whenever we needed something, the room was so comfy and spacious, the location was bang on to walking everywhere - the night bazaar 20mins and bars & restos everywhere, there was breakfast and lunch served for extra $ but similar prices to all the nearby spots, the pool (!!!!) was perfect and a great place to have a relaxing day or two, there were board games available to play and heaps of books to read from. It looked like they would help you book a cooking class or elephant sanctuary etc. They also had a laundry service available. I mean this place did it all. I would stay here again next time I’m in Chiang Mai without a doubt!!!

Honestly nothing bad to say about this place.

The location of this hotel is amazing! You are steps away from the Sunday market and one of the important temples in Chiang Mai. The room was of a good size and was very clean. There is a fridge and all the usual amenities as well. The staff is friendly.

The only thing I'd mention here is definitely not going to be a problem for everyone but the room we had had so much light go through it at night. The bathroom had a window that led to a hall and you'd get all that light which was hard to sleep with.

The location is perfect, easily accessible within walking distance to main spots. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the room is clean and comfortable. The double bed comes with four pillows, adding an extra touch of comfort. I would definitely stay here again!

The fridge occasionally makes noise, which could affect your sleep quality. Additionally, sounds from the neighborhood, such as a baby crying or dogs barking, can be a bit disruptive at night. The door lock also feels less secure than expected—hopefully, the hotel can improve this for a proper safety.

The location of the hotel was superb. Right in the heart of the city, close to the principal city points, and a 1 minute walk to the sunday market, which is a huge night market in Chiang Mai. Breakfast was chosen from a few options provided, not buffet, but was enough and very good. The pool was very well located, and the hotel provided towels for pool usage.

There was no locker in the room, just in the reception, in the common area. There is a deposit fee that has to be paid at the entrance and, if nothing is broken, is given back at the end. Should be stated in the reservation.

Lovely small hotel located in a quiet location. Great pool area with sun loungers. A limited selection of meals but great value and really tasty. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had 3rd floor rooms overlooking the pool. Plenty of room, clean and tidy.

Very difficult to find dislikes as such a lovely place. For some the fact there are no lifts might be an issue but for us it wasn’t a problem. Staff were great at helping with luggage.
