The room was good, very spacious and very clean. The hotel is a few meters away from the beautiful Katanoi beach. There are a few restaurants around the hotel, you can easily get food delivered by Grab, and Kata beach area is a ride away for a lot more restaurants and cafes. We were given 2 bottles of water everyday. And the room cleaning was also daily. The AC works really well. There’s a smart tv, a fridge and a kettle in the room. We decided to extend our stay in Phuket last minute, so we booked this hotel for a week and didn’t regret it.

The bedding was a bit stained but it was clean, so it didn’t really matter. When booking online I was only charged partially for the room, on arrival I had to pay the rest and they have a 4% charge if using a bank card. The mattress was a bit hard but we slept comfortably.

Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms with plenty of light. A relaxing feel.

I wish the shower had a door, to protect the bathroom floor from getting wet. Everything else was excellent!

Super little Bijou hotel, nicely located with super friendly staff. Great value for money. Would definately recommend this hotel for a peaceful holiday break. It isn't a full service hotel but there are so many local dining spots it doesn't need to be. If you want a clean value for money hotel with friendly staff where you just want a room for the night - it is difficult to beat the Mantra.

No lift to the upper floor, but it wasn't really an issue. All in all a super place with the friendliest staff. Highly recommended.

Friendly staff, Receptionis John and Pui were really nice. Rooms were always clean, location is in second row to kata noi Beach. Not far away. Really nice restaurant outside the hotel up the alleyway and nice massage place right next to it.

Nothing, it was all good. Good value for money. Would come back here again.

The room is really spacious and comfortable and has everything you need. The staff was also very friendly and helpful, thank you to John and Pui! I also really enjoyed the location of the hotel, it is a 2 minute walk from the beach and close to many shops and restaurants. I definitely recommend staying here.

The rooms are located upstairs with no elevator, which might be a challenge for some people. However, the staff can help carry your luggage, which I was very grateful for at check out.

Small (family owned?) hotel. Excellent rooms! Strict clean. Very friendly staff. Helped with a lot of local knowledge. Towels for the beach provided. 2 mins walk to the beach.

Why only 2 stars rating? That is not fair. It is at least 3 stars! Maybe because of no 24 hours reception(?) (but who needs that, anyway?).

We loved our stay at The Mantra. It is located at Kata Noi - a slightly quieter and beautiful beach. The facilities were modern and clean. Our room was cleaned daily, with provision of fresh water, towels and coffee. The staff were very helpful and went above and beyond helping us as we sought to address a few travel related issues (nothing to do with the hotel).

Great location, very reasonably priced for kata noi area. Romms large and comfortable. Only downside, no view from rooms.

Upchrge 4% for paying with credit card....not properly disclosed at booking, should be included in booking quote, creates bad feelings . Also attempt to ask for ac1000 baht cash deposit for plastic room key worth 30 bant.
