The hotel is really as shown and described in comments on Booking. Rooms are spacious (comparing to other similar accommodations in Istanbul) and location is convenient as it is close to the tram and 5mins walk to the Grand Bazaar. Our rooms were cleaned every day, and we got new towels and water bottles which we liked very much. Our kids were staying in the room next to ours and we felt safe all the time.

The hotel is surrounded by small shops and the streets get filled with trash, especially in the evening. However, we were aware of that as it has been shared by other guests so we were prepared. Still, it ruins the first impression. Especially if you arrive at night.

The hotel was very clean and a reception staff always available. Very convenient to get to the tourist attractions. The housekeeping staff were great and cleaned our room everyday.

The breakfast spread was exactly the same all 5 mornings. As the hotel is surrounded by shoe shops it was very noisy.. we could hear footsteps continuously in the mornings from the upper floor. The taxi was not able to come to the hotel for my airport departure, i had to drag my luggage up and down hills to get to the taxi.

For the price I paid , you cannot fault it. It exceeds expectation and it better than 99% of hotels at that price point in that area. I stayed in room 305 (single room) during 29th November to 1st of December. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was good and comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious and clean. The shower is great. Toiletries are provided (shampoo and shower gel) which is a nice plus. The quality of them is quite low - but for the price you are paying, it is nice that they are including those to be honest. You can't really complain. I would suggest to get your own toiletries if you are fussy about that sort of stuff. They provide slippers too which is amazing! Really going the extra mile there. It comes in handy when the floor is tiled and therefore can be cold to the feet. Only negative is that the walls are thin - but this is with every hotel in istanbul at this price range. You just have to accept it and either use earplugs or stay somewhere away from the old city (and probably spend more money). To be honest, it didn't bother me. I was fine. The breakfast is also great. From memory, they had all the turkish style offering such as cold meats, veg, bread, cheese etc. They also had chips and nuggets and a nice scrambled egg. Everything you need really! The staff speak very good english which is a big plus for me! Very nice people, pleasant and professional. The cleaning ladies are also very sweet and very kind and helpful. The location is absolutely amazing. 2 minutes from the tram line and the grand bazaar. And maybe a 7-10 minute walk to Sultan Ahmet Hagia Sofia Blue Mosque etc. All in all, can't complain about anything. Superb hotel for the price.

Clean, family friendly and really good service. I strongly recommend it and was actually afraid that it was going to be horrible when looking at previous reviews. Choose this hotel if you want something family friendly. After all hotels are only for sleeping.

There were only stairs to the main entrance (there is an elevator inside of the hotel though!).

Everything was perfect — nice room, spotless cleanliness, excellent soundproofing, comfy bed, good A/C, shower with no leaking, cheap laundry service, amazing breakfast, great location, great value for money!

We were looking at hotels for a long time before finding Eliza hotel. Because the reviews of most hotels were not good. However, when looking at the reviews of Eliza Hotel we were convinced to take a shot and stay at this hotel for the first time in Istanbul. And we can say that it was worth it!! We were not disappointed at all! - Location: in the centre of Istanbul (next to Kapali Carshi and a 10 minute walk to the beautiful mosks (Hagia Sophia, etc) --> perfect location!! Nearby the restaurants, tram number 1 and a 15 minute walk to Eminonu where you can take the ferry, etc. The most reviews were sceptic a bit about the location due to the loudness, but we stayed there for almost a week and we didn't have any trouble with the noice or something like that. Furthermore, a lot of comments were about the fact that the streets there are a bit outdated, but this is clearly in the whole area since it is the old town of Istanbul. For us, it was not that bad at all. - Service: very sweet and helpful. Once we booked our stay at the hotel, we immediately received a whatsapp text and Booking email of them that they have received the reservation and asked if anything extra was needed (taxi shuttle from airport, etc) which gave us a immediately a very good impression. - Hygiene: this one was the most important one for us, and most hotels in Istanbul this was really hard to find. We can say that the hygiene was very good in this hotel. The rooms were cleaned every day, new towels every day, etc. Furthermore, we had 2 rooms ( a 3 person + 1 person) and they were a perfect size, enough space, good beds and a great bathroom! - Breakfast: the breakfast was OK, not so much variation but it was enough and good. However, with a 10 minute walk you have many restaurants with a view of the bosphorus where you can eat a typical turkish breakfast --> very insta worthy ;)

The Tram was close by, as well as restaurants and it's a few minutes to the main roads. The room was large and the breakfast was great. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The only problem is that taxis don't come all the way into this area but it's like this with most of Istanbul. You will be dropped at the main road and will have to walk in. It's not far at all, but its best to take hotel transfers if you have baggage.

The hotel was in the wholesale shoe sector so through the day amidst the hustle and bustle but quiet at night as No through traffic or shops opened Great location for all the main sites on foot. Reception team were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always with a smile and arranged visits and advice and answering all questions and available 25 hours Room was extremely clean and with toiletries- shampoo, soap and body wash and a hairdryer. Buffet breakfast choice was extensive - so much to choose from and regularly topped up Nice to sit on the terrace and enjoy a rooftop view in the sunshine Lifts working, room cleaned and fresh towels daily Fantastic value for money would highly recommend

I liked the location by the shoe sellers in an authentic part of town yet a short walk to the main sites The bed was comfy The shower had lots of hot water There was tea and coffee and a fridge The breakfast had cereals and fruits which was good for me as well as other choices

The hotel is new and clean. The room we stayed was spacious. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and a lot of options to choose from. Wifi was strong.

The location was a put down. It was in a busy location but at night it was dark and looked like an isolated place to walk. Quite noisy too. The shower was a bit hard to control the temperature.
