We had a wonderful stay at Grand Kavi Hotel! The location was perfect—close to local attractions yet quiet and peaceful. The room was comfortable. The staffs were excellent — friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. From the moment we arrived, they were warm, welcoming, and professional. Special thanks to Ismail, who went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a variety of options. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul!

Bedroom was very clean and organised upon arrival alongside the services provided such as the breakfast alongside the daily cleaning of our room. Moreover, the overall quality and design of the hotel is fabulous and the staff such as Sezgin Semih ,Ismail had provided us with a warm welcome and we could not ask for anyone better than them. Additionally, the location makes it very optimal to visit many landmarks in Istanbul such as the Blue mosque or Aya Sofya which are less than 15 minutes away by train. Overall, this hotel is one that I would greatly recommend for anyone who would want a true and superb experience here in Istanbul.

There are no complaints that I have about the hotel

The staff were very kind and helpful. The location is perfect, right in the center of the city. It’s only a 10-minute walk to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, and just 4 minutes to the T1 tram line. The Egyptian Bazaar and Grand Bazaar are also nearby. Our room had a beautiful view of the Bosphorus, which was a lovely bonus. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a small buffet, but it had everything we needed — cold cuts, cheese, eggs, yogurt, cereals, tea, and coffee.

The only downside was that the handle on our room door was broken, and unfortunately, it wasn’t fixed during our stay. Other than that, everything was great.

Absolutely polite staff and helpful. Small rage of options for breakfast. The location of the hotel is excellent with great options to eat local food around.

The room was super small and no place to keep your bags. Once the bags are open, no place to walk whatso ever in the room. We were given the top most room, so had to walk one floor. Vegetarian options are limited in breakfast.

The staff are very nice! Sizgen and Sami and the whole staff are very accommodating. I requested for a more comfortable single room and they transferred me right away. I will recommend this hotel to my friends and all those reading this review. If you’re looking for better value for money, this is a very great option. Five star ***** rating

I had a wonderful stay at this recently renovated hotel in Istanbul! The staff was incredibly welcoming and always ready to help, which made me feel right at home. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The WiFi was fast and reliable, perfect for planning my daily adventures. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to major attractions like the Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sophia, and the Blue Mosque. You can’t get more central than this! The breakfast was simple but perfectly fine to start the day. Overall, a great value for the location, service, and updated facilities. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Istanbul!

Excellent hotel! Really central- Five minutes walk to Sultanahmet and two to Cembertilas tram. Also five minutes from Vezneclier metro station for one stop ride to Istanbul Airport. The hotel is really comfortable and had all I needed-comfy bed and great bathroom, safe, drink making facilities and superfast wifi. The breakfast was excellent. Staff were great-led by brilliant Ismail! This hotel is a great deal and I thoroughly enjoyed saying here. Recommended without reservation.

The location was fantastic as it was close to many eating outlets, tram stop and walking distance from the main tourist attractions. The Grand Bazaar was also a short distance away. Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean.

The front of the hotel has 6 steps which made it unaccessible for me as a wheelchair user. The photo of the front of the hotel cut out the steps. Staff did help me carry my mobility scooter up and down the steps but I felt trapped because I could not leave and return as I pleased. Breakfast was basically the same food items each day.

Breakfast is delicious with too many varieties. I always enjoyed breakfast with family. Kids also have different varieties in breakfast. Location is perfect. 1 minutes distance from food street. 3 minutes distance from Bayazit tram station. 5 minutes distance from Grand Bazar. 15 minutes distance from Hagia Sophia/Blue Mosque

The staff were very helpfull both day staff and night staff ( Sami) very loyal and very helpfull . the day staff im Sorry i cant remember the name but he was a turkish guy he helped us in booking the cruise trip and Turkish Hamam

The breakfast was okau as it was confusing because they did not put the name of what the things were , like they had soo many kinds of Jams but we didnt know which one was made of what ? better to put some kind of names on each bowls
