Great central location for traveling north or south in Nagasaki, literally across from Nagasaki Station and a very useful mall (Amu Plaza), with lovely room views over the water. Friendly, gracious staff, two comfortable full beds in our double room, very nice if somewhat pricey breakfast buffet in an inviting, airy dining space, with good salad bar and fresh omelets.

The Nagasaki Hilton, which includes a large “service charge” in the total bill, then has the gall NOT to provide free Wi-Fi service. If you want that, you have to sign up, i.e. hand over your data, for Hilton’s “Honors program” membership. This makes them the only hotel in our entire three weeks in Japan not to include Wi-Fi as a given. Yes, they do warn you somewhere on the booking.com site that this is the case, but if you’re like me you don’t even think about a recognized international hotel chain property resorting to this strategy. Very not classy.

The hotel is right next to the train station and bus stops so getting around from the hotel is extremely easy. We left our bags at the hotel before check in and they had already been taken up to our rooms once we arrived for check in later. The room was immaculate, the bed very comfortable and breakfast had a large choice of both Japanese and more western style foods. We didn't have a chance to try the onsen but it was included, no additional charge, and you can check on the TV if the onsen is busy or quiet. Similarly you can check how busy the restaurants are too. The rooms are very generously sized, especially for Japan, and had all the amenities you might need. While it's not a cheap hotel I think the value for money was great.

Great location across the road from the station. Mostly covered walkway takes you to level 2 to reception. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Room is very large and very modern. Great bathroom and a very comfy bed. Restaurant has good food though it is a little bit expensive. There are better options just a short tram ride in a variety of Nagasaki suburbs. Very quiet hotel and did I say the staff were great? Nagasaki is a great city to visit, and the Hilton is the perfect location.

Not much as the room was just about perfect. Perhaps a laundry on site rather than an expensive laundry service. There are laundromats nearby though.

The customer service was top-notch. Yuki, at the front desk, was especially very accommodative and friendly helping to sort out any queries that we had as well as her other colleagues at the front desk. The location is excellent located next to the Nagasaki JR train station, bus station, tram which can get you to any part of Nagasaki. The Amu Plaza shopping mall is also in very close proximity. The view from my hotel room overlooking the sea side was very ambient. My best part of the hotel stay was the hot bath and sauna that were very well maintained, demure and relaxing. Thanks Hilton Nagasaki for a lovely stay!

Nothing other than minor language barrier issues but not too significant.

The Hilton is conveniently situated across the main station and well connected to public transport. It's a great spot to explore the sights of Nagasaki. The staff is very friendly and attentive (though the command of English not always good enough to be helpful). Hot bath and gym are great.

Not a complaint, only a suggestion: invest in a proper coffee machine. It's the beautiful fuel that keeps business travelers and jet-lagged tourists going.

- very clean room - very big room - the room and all the facilities were extremely aesthetically designed - i liked that the sink was on the outside (but close to) the bathroom as it allowed easier access for hand washing and teeth brushing

- the tv turned on every time i walked back into the room after closing it which was super annoying. very minor inconvenience though - the gym was kinda mid given how fancy the hotel was, didn't have that much equipment in it

What can I say, we loved absolutely everything about this hotel, start with it’s literally 50 yards from Nagasaki Station and a large shopping mall so lots of food, the bedroom was amazing, the view from our window was awesome, the breakfast was the best in Japan so far, the staff were so nice we wanted to take them home with us and very importantly, it’s a very quiet hotel where you can simply relax. We will be back for sure!

The location was great - right next to the main station. And the staff were super helpful. The room was also lovely and well-kitted out - except for the 2 issues I mention next

A couple of things : - no coffee machine. Seriously - in 2023, in a 5 star hotel all you provide is a kettle and instant coffee ? wow. Just put in a Nespresso machine. - the fridge isn't a fridge !!!! What looks like a small beer fridge doesn't get below 6 degrees. And when we called about it were told it's just meant for keeping things "cool" ! what the actual F ? Again - this is a 5 star hotel, and there were no minibar refreshments provided so it's hardly unreasonable to want to wack a couple of conbini beers in the "fridge".

Excellent hotel with good facilities and very helpful staff. Rooms are large and well equipped with a modern design. Beds are very comfortable. Restaurant was good with a regularly changing menu and great service. Hotel lobby has a coffee/cake shop and very pleasant bar to sit and relax after a busy day touring the wonderful city of Nagasaki and driving around the very interesting island of Kyushu. A multi-story car park is adjacent, with a reasonable all-day parking rate, and the hotel offering some helpful options for its use.. Hotel is a 1-minute walk from the train station, very much welcome after a long train ride on arrival. Trams and buses are a 5-min walk with shops and restaurants also nearby.

Relatively new and excellent location across the road from the main railway station - therefore quick access to shinkansen, trams, taxi and bus. Helpful staff accommodating every question.

Taxi drivers don't know the hotel, and it isn't listed on the guide map. Fortunately if you ask to be taken to the main station, the taxi drops you off opposite the hotel.
